Awesome Views! Two Full-Kitchens And Relaxing Fire Pit Area!
Vieni a dare un'occhiata dal nostro punto di vista! Prendi solo sei minuti di auto dalla suddivisione di Great Creek Landing dalla I-85 e sperimenterai dolci colline ondulate, perfette per camminare o andare in bicicletta, che conducono a una splendida casa sul lago perfetta per qualsiasi fuga. Il nostro punto di vista è una casa di cinque camere da letto (tre delle camere sono dotate di letti king size con vista sul lago!) che può ospitare comodamente 17 ospiti (con letti per tutti i 17 ospiti). Il livello principale ha una grande cucina con elettrodomestici aggiornati e zona pranzo, perfetta per cucinare e intrattenere. Il soggiorno include una smart TV da 60 ", quindi a nessuno manca il grande gioco, anche quelli che" lavorano "in cucina! Due camere da letto (re e regina) si trovano al piano principale con un bagno completo e una lavanderia. Il livello inferiore, un seminterrato di sciopero, è stato recentemente dipinto e aggiornato. Il soggiorno contiene un divano componibile, una grande TV intelligente da 55 ", un bar personalizzato, giochi, libri per tutte le età e un biliardino. Questo livello inferiore include anche una cucina completa con lavatrice e asciugatrice, che rende la nostra casa perfetta per più famiglie per allontanarsi da tutto insieme, ma avere ancora il proprio spazio! Trascorri il tuo tempo davanti al lago sul ponte di livello principale (completo di griglia a gas), oppure riposa nel patio al piano inferiore con tavolo da ping pong, griglia a carbone e pozzo del fuoco di nuova costruzione! Il pozzo del fuoco è immerso nel mezzo di un'area salotto in pietra con sedie Adirondack costruite per rilassarsi e godersi lo scenario giorno e notte! Non dimenticare i fissaggi per S'mores sulla buca per il fuoco! Una passerella lastricata su un dolce pendio conduce a un grande molo, perfetto per prendere il sole, e con una profondità d'acqua di otto piedi, è anche ottimo per nuotare, galleggiare e pescare. Una casa barca si trova sul molo con un ascensore per moto d'acqua e 3 kayak da utilizzare durante il vostro soggiorno senza costi aggiuntivi.

Our family, eight people in three generations loved our time at Point of View Lake House. The house was great, with bedrooms and bathrooms on three levels, the best stocked kitchen we’ve experienced with a VRBO rental, and is situated only a few steps from the lake. The dock was a highlight for our grandchildren, who loved swimming near the dock in the safety of our cove. The pictures of the home are very accurate. Everyone in our family recommends Point of View.

We stayed with extended family including children aged 6 months to 13. The property was great with many kid-friendly amenities. Aside from swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the lake, we also especially enjoyed the fire pit and hanging out on the screened-in porch. The home had the most well-stocked kitchen of any VRBO we’ve ever rented which made cooking for the family easy. Looking forward to coming again!

Family time well spent in this beautiful vacation home. The location on the lake was perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and floating. While fish were sparse (most likely due to the beaver’s daily swim through), we loved the ability to fish with the property fishing license. The outdoor fire pit area was a beautiful spot to gather at day’s end. The screened in porch was perfect for book lounging. The home was clean and spacious for 16 people. The outdoor shower a lifesaver for our large group. Jodie was quick to respond when needed and always very polite. Highly recommend this rental not just for the property, but also because of the owners. We’ve stayed in many rentals for vacation, but Jodie was by far one of the best.

Our annual family vacation was wonderful!
This house is very well stocked; games, books, closets with blankets and fans, kitchen with everything you need, outdoors with kayaks and SUPs.
The owners are fantastic and so easy to communicate with.
The cove is peaceful and opens up to the side of the lake the perfect size for boating and tubing!

The location is great for large groups. Plenty of space with lots of room to come together if you’d like but also enjoy your individual comfort as well. The view of the lake is stunning morning, noon and night. The only concerns may be lack of cellular reception and how far it is from any city needs like shopping or restaurants, but if you’re looking to get away from it all, that’s perfect. Amazing for group bonding

Great place on the lake with paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy. Quiet area off the main lake. A special time for my husband and I to enjoy our adult children and grandchildren. Hope to do it again next year and would definitely consider the same place. Great communication with host.

There’s about 12 of us coming from up and down the east coast. We have been doing Outer banks but decided to try a lake vacation. We were so happy we have already booked for next year. So much to do on the property. Just bobbing in The lake most of the time. Next year we will rent wave runners and possibly a boat. If you are thinking about a lake vacation. This prop was awesome and checked all the boxes.

Welcome surprise to a tranquil setting on the water. Laying on the deck of the boathouse, swimming and kayaking so relaxing. All the amenities to go with that. Will definitely venture here again next year.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lazy days just kayaking, paddle-boarding and making memories. The house was comfortable and a great layout for us with the three different levels and it was so nice to just walk across the yard to the dock. Lots of amenities but it was disappointing to find that some things were broken, such as the seat backs on the kayaks. They were still perfectly usable but not as comfortable as they could have been. Jodie had ordered new paddles to replace some that were missing and they were there on the porch when we arrived - much appreciated. She also replaced a broken coffee-maker ASAP. She always responded quickly and satisfactorily. Thanks for providing the fishing license - our 7 year old grandson was thrilled to catch his first fish ever from the dock!
Be aware that towels are not included in the linen package, a fact that we didn't know until after the cancellation date had passed. Those, along with the other basics that were not provided - paper towels, trash bags, more than one roll of TP per bathroom, tissues, made for a lot of last minute scrambling to buy and find room in the car for things that we are used to having provided in rental homes.

We loved our stay with our extended family over the 4th of July! Highly recommend renting a boat during your stay. We were able to enjoy the house, boat dock, and lake for tubing, swimming, and fishing. Beautiful sunsets and really liked how this house is in a protected cove. The lake was like glass! This place is amazing and really enjoyed our time. Will definitely be back!

We took our kids and grandkids, and this home was the perfect layout. A well-stocked kitchen, plenty of games for the kids, and just steps away from the lake. The dock is located in a cove, which was great for docking our boat, and for taking advantage of the water toys our host provided. Definitely one of the top lake homes we have rented over the years.

14 members of my family came together for a memorial weekend escape from all across the country to enjoy time together this memorial holiday weekend. This property was spacious, clean, stylish, and cozy, with the most incredible lakeside view. There were TV's in rooms, play areas for the kids, the layout offered many spaces to convene together with beautiful outdoor spaces and lake ammenities. We had such an incredible time, we didn't want to leave..To top it off, the owners were so warm and welcoming and seemed equally excited about our family time being a success. It was a hit and the family is looking forward to returning soon.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The hosts were extremely accommodating and gracious. The location is quiet, with lots of outdoor and indoor space for people to gather as a group or get away for some solitude. Ample parking and the fire pit was a perfect size for the house. Great house. Lovely waterfront spot. Very peaceful and relaxing. Super easy to get to off I-85. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Enjoyed the ping pong and foosball. Use of the kayaks and grill was cherry on top. Would definitely stay here again.

My group and I had an amazing time at this property on Lake Gaston! The home was beautiful and spacious and accommodated our large group perfectly. The kayaks made for a fantastic activity and the lake was simply beautiful. The hosts were super responsive and kind. Lot of space and had everything we needed, dock and swimming area was great. Fire pit was very nice. The bedrooms were nice and large. We had 10 adults and still had spare room.
The bridge to go to the main lake is tight but if you take your time it is fine.

We have stayed every year at Lake Gaston. This was by far the best house in 5 years! The house was very clean and the dock was beautiful! Would highly recommend this property!!!

We have stayed at many lakes and homes and this was the best! Beautiful clean home, great dock and yard, incredible lake! The house was large enough for 3 families and the beds are very comfortable! The lake was not busy and perfect for our boat sports playing. The owners were very responsive and so helpful! There is even an amazing outside shower! The sheets are provided and on the beds when you get there! Beautiful lake views from the kitchen! Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful vacation!!
our family stayed at Our Point of View during July. After renting homes in the New England States for many years we all agreed this was the best. Communication with Martin and Jodie was easy and very good. The home itself was so clean and the perfect size for our crew. The site on the lake was wonderful as was the paddleboards, kayaks and noodles. The kids loved it! After we got to know the area a bit we found hidden treasures like Furr's meats. We are so grateful to Martin and Jodie for sharing this very memorable family vacation home with us!

Another great week
Our family of 9 had a great week vacationing at “Our Point of View”. This was our second year there and we had a great time. The house is well equipped with everything from dishes, kayaks, SUP boards. It’s located at a great place on the lake, perfect for kayaking, tubing, or sweet. The owners are very responsive when you need to contact them. A great house for a large group! We were only 9, but had plenty of room for more.

The home is pretty amazing with room for 16. My 4 teen grandsons were in heaven with the lower level all for themselves—living area, kitchen, laundry & a big bunk room and a king bedroom.
It is beautifully & warmly decorated, but extremely comfortable, as well—with views from each level.
There are plenty of nice cushions for the many areas of seating on the screened-in porch (my favorite) and the area down on the dock.
The screened-in porch had areas of tables and seating. That is the area the adults spent most of their time when they weren’t on the water. The kitchen has everything you might need with windows looking out over the lake.
We had the use of some paddle boats, but we also rented a jet ski & a pontoon. We brought a boat, as well, and there was room enough around the dock to tie them up.
It was just a really fun time for everyone—sun, water, boating and reading on the wonderful porch overlooking the lake.
We all loved every minute of it.
