This is the second Christmas we’ve stayed at this peaceful, comfortable property. We enjoyed the property amenities, the peaceful setting with great places for walks, and the proximity to Blowing Rock. Beverly was a great communicator who clearly explained the access details and logistics. The only thing we had trouble with was getting a consistently decent WiFi signal, which made Christmas calls to family around the country difficult.

My family and I have stayed at this home twice and it is always a great time. The proximity to the lake is delightful and the neighborhood is the best. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the winter!

Sweet Mountain dreams is an amazing property. The house is situated in a great location with beautiful views. It is very well-maintained and extremely clean. The decorations and ambience are warm and inviting. The fireplace and hot tub were great amenities. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable…Especially the open kitchen and Living Room. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

We stayed for the weekend in October 2023 when our kids were participating in a cross country meet in Boone. Blowing Rock is a great little town with plenty to do. The home is gorgeous, private, and well built. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well-maintained. It was also well-stocked with simple necessities such as coffee and filters, cooking oil, and basic spices. It unfortunately rained during our whole stay, which put a damper on our plans to enjoy the lake and the nearby blue ridge parkway, but it was nice to have the covered back porch, including the hot tub, to be able to sit and enjoy the view despite the rain. We hope to come back sometime in better weather!

We absolutely loved our stay. The location is convenient to the parkway as well as Blowing Rock or Boone. It is just an idyllic house with so much to offer. The house is very clean with plenty of room. It also has a hot tub and canoe rides/fishing/hiking/ping pong all within a very short walk. The views are amazing, especially with a cup of coffee early in the morning! We love it here and will be back!

Very nice home in a gated community; close to Blowing Rock. The home was very clean and comfortable. The community had nice walking paths and a great play area for kids and pets.

This property was perfect for a birthday weekend for my son (15th) and 3 of his friends to hit the slopes. There was a perfect amount of space upstairs in the loft for all the boys to sleep (or not ;-) ) and the outdoor fire pit was perfect for s'mores after birthday dinner. The property had great walking trails to take the dogs for walks in the "woods" along a beautiful creek, but also easy drive to Blowing Rock for dinner. The home was tastefully decorated and updated with a well equipped kitchen too. The homeowner was kind enough to send me emails about the weekend activities and relevant information. We will definitely keep this in mind for our next trip to the Blowing Rock area.

We love Blowing Rock and enjoy going in the winter months. This was our first stay here and it was to die for! We didn’t want to leave. The community is a true gem.

Six of us stayed at this beautiful property for the long Christmas weekend. With a wintry storm looming, we were grateful to check in 1 day early to get settled before the weather turned. The property team was excellent with communication. While subzero wind chills limited our outdoor activities, the house’s setting was cozy, peaceful, and scenic. The interior was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and its layout and amenities made it enjoyable to cook, puzzle, play board games, watch movies, and take short walks along the lake once the temps warmed up. We plan to try out other seasons in the future. A 5-star setting and house!

We enjoyed everything about the property. Was looking forward to the hot tub, sorry to say it wasn't working. Hard to get people out on the weekend. We still enjoyed our stay and would love to xome back .

Great cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. Our kids loves going for walks around the lake and on the trails. The house is very comfortable, clean and has everything needed. Would love to come back again!

The property is accurately described and we were pleased with our stay. It was convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and only a short drive to Boone. The property is situated on the lake and has beautiful walking trails on the property. A very comfortable home for family and friends of all ages. Would highly recommend.

The neighborhood and the property were beautiful. Close to local attractions and a gorgeous lake view.

The house was great. We appreciated how clean it was and how peaceful the neighborhood was. We felt relaxed and comfortable the entire time. It's great to get views of both water and mountains in one spot. Blowing Rock is an easy drive. The minor point for future guests: make sure you have downloaded all check-in information before you arrive. We didn't have the gate code from the VRBO app. There is limited cell service at the gate, so we were driving around looking for signal to get that information.

This property is a little more out of the way than where we usually stay when visiting Blowing Rock but it is well worth a little extra travel time to town. It is in a gated and woodsy neighborhood with the small lake, hiking trails, fire pit, and hot tub there is plenty to keep even teenagers busy. My teen boys enjoyed hiking, canoeing, and fishing (catch and release) and it was a perfect place for family time with plenty of room for our family of 4 with room for more. My only minor and nit-picky really suggestions if I were pressed to make any would be to perhaps add a full length mirror somewhere and to add some towel or robe hooks in master bathroom next to the shower and maybe consider TVs in one or more of the bedrooms but I would absolutely stay here again. There is a lot of construction going on with daytime noise since it is a newer development but this is certainly no fault of the owners who are very responsive to questions and it is very quiet in the evenings.

Home is beautiful. Right on the lake. Close to Blowing Rock restaurants and Grandfather mountain. Will stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Beverly’s! The house was exactly as described and the property was fantastic. We used the provided canoes every day and hung out on the water. The hot tub was also a nice addition and used by all. The home was in a community development but it still felt very private. Highly recommend booking this property!
