Il condominio si trova a pochi passi dal molo dei pescatori di North End e dall'High Tide Lounge e oltre a questa è la spiaggia disabitata per le migliori passeggiate sull'isola. È divertente guardare il pescatore o pescare dal molo, viste incredibili e tramonti visti dal molo! La spiaggia di Freeman Park proprio lì per lunghe passeggiate lungo il surf! È magnifico!!

If being able to bring your pet with you and staying ocean front are the top requirements on your list, then this place will definitely check those boxes.
However, upon check-in we were given strict guidelines as to what temperatures we could use for the a/c. 72 is as low as you can set it, and it seemed as though the back rooms were cooler than the front living area (if it freezes up, that extra bill is on you). The ice maker on the door of the freezer had a wash cloth jammed in it, with a note that read it was out of service for the moment. It seems to be an older condo (which is fine), and things overall had been cleaned, and wiped off, but it could use a deep dusting/cleaning.
Parking was an issue. Not because of so many cars, but if you drive any type of full size truck or full size SUV then you would not be able to park at the building with this unit. We drive a Nissan van and things were so tight we had a hard time squeezing our van in (had to absolutely center the spot) and then we (average size people) had to squeeze between van and large post to get around to the stairs. One day we did not center the space exactly, and ended up scratching one of our sliding doors.
I really don't know that the location can be beat. You are right on the ocean. You will have to walk down a little to have enough beach to set up chairs, but sitting on the balcony is heaven! There are plenty of places to eat and things to do within 5-10 minutes from here.

The location and view from the unit is unmatched. Enjoying the beach is made easy by the Landlord. The unit has everything you could need. Steps away from a beautiful beach in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. I would highly recommend.

My 88yo Father suggested a trip to the beach(didn’t matter where)as he had not been on a vacation since my Mother passed away in 2016….His only request was he wanted it to be ocean front with a beautiful view. My daughter lives in Raleigh, NC, so I thought Carolina Beach would be perfect, although I’d never been. After searching on VRBO for a week or so, I found the perfect spot, and it did not disappoint! Not to mention it is dog friendly!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property, the overall location, and the amazing host!! Literally, the perfect vacation! Thank you so much!!!

This place is perfect for a quiet stay in Carolina Beach! Its far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to venture out for a great meal. The view is A+, and you cant get much closer if you want an ocean front view! Beautiful and perfect view for sunrise, or just enjoying the tides come in and out. This condo had everything I needed for a 6 night stay...super comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, and convenient parking. The Sunskipper building is the perfect location for the traveler who wants to just chill out and enjoy the sun, sand and waves! Barbara the owner is an extremely accommodating host who responds within minutes with any questions or concerns. This was was 2nd time staying in this condo (3rd time in this building), and has become my 2nd home for vacation! If you're looking for a no frills, but extremely accommodating place to stay, look no further!

Our small family stayed for 6 nights during Spring break with kids and small dogs.
Everything was as described.
The Condo was spacious, neat, orderly and clean. With great views and easy access to the beach. Was a quiet area yet very convenient and close to the fun.
Would absolutely stay again or recommend.

Loved the view!! Couldn’t get any closer to the beach than this place. I wish our trip was during the summer think we would have enjoyed it a lot more it was close to everything but in a nice peaceful spot. The beds were comfortable the living area was big, great place to hang out with friends, relax, play games and enjoy the view. Plenty of places to sit bar, stools near kitchen area side table with chairs and space in the living room and more chairs out on the deck

The property was nice enough. Master bedroom bed was not comfortable. I did not realize until after booking that I would be providing my own linens, and be expected to clean before we left. We didn.t even cook breakfast the last day because there wasn't time to run the dishwasher and unload as expected before we left. Also there was a to do checklist that needed to be printed and filled out for cleaning before we left. We don't normally travel with a printer. Also the introduction letter felt like a threat list for add on fees, but the rental was not that clean when we arrived. I gave it four stars because the proximity to the ocean. We enjoyed being able to spend time with old friends. Even though you are expected to clean you will still pay a cleaning fee. We would not rent again.

We were able to stay in this beach front condo last year. It’s in a great location. The beach and ocean are right there!
Such a much needed break from hectic school and work life. The property is in a quiet area.
My daughter and I watched the sun rise each morning. The sunrises are stunning.

First floor condo felt like you were right on the beach! And those tall chairs got my view over the railing that I usually have to stare at. Condo had a lot of cuseys that made you feel at home.

The view was amazing beautiful, the beach , ocean was great! The condo is older , nice Kitchen updates. Plenty of room for my family. The outside of the bldg need a shower or water hose to get sand off . We could only find one pool but the shower didnt work and its a long way from the condo to get sand off. The pool was nice kids enjoyedit!

The condo itself was nice, good location. When we arrived around 4:00 pm, we were confused by two thermostats on the wall, so I called the owner to clarify. She quickly said, “what do you need? I am on a very important phone call”… ok, that could have been done in a more polite way… So even when we had questions the rest of the time, we did not contact the owner.
The back bedroom stayed plenty cool with air running, but the den/kitchen area stayed pretty warm, no matter how we tried to close curtains to keep the heat out and kept bedroom doors open to cool the rest of the unit.
The pools were ok. Just very few chairs available, so you either had to bring your own, or sit on the pavement. The fob for the pool access worked sometimes… sometimes it didn’t. The two pools are actually located across the street behind two condo units. Not a long walk, but I was picturing them being more convenient to our location.
Other than these minor issues, we had fun and it suited our needs.

This condo was right on the beach! We loved being able to sit on our deck, hear the waves, and feel like the beach was just in front of us. Very easy access to the beach and just 1 set of stairs to the condo. Good for a family, very nice kitchen and beds were good too. It was just as pictured!

It wild have been helpful to know that the HVAC unit is way. Eyond needing to be replaced. Not being able to turn air down below 72 degrees is unacceptable. Looks like when the thermostat was replaced it was not installed close to the original Thermostat but closer to the return air vent and inside unit. This seems to be causing the unit to not cool evenly from room to room. Only the Master bedroom was even 72 degrees. Rest of the condo was much warmer. Place needs to be gutted and totally redone. It is a dump.

Negative: outside and inside tables are counter height with uncomfortable chairs, especially for a short person; furniture is old, dated, and uncomfortable. Parking awful, pool is across the street behind another building and access is difficult

Our favorite things: the amazing view, close proximity to the pier, lots of restaurants nearby, Carolina Beach state park, Fort Fisher, did I mention the view? Our pup loved sitting on the deck to people watch with us. We saw dolphins and a flock of pelicans having their breakfast.
Our only con has absolutely nothing to do with the owners- the upstairs neighbors were extremely loud, like so loud we think the may have been doing renovations. It sounded like pounding and moving furniture, which wouldn't have been so bad except it started 5:30-6am and ended usually 10:30-11pm. It made our pup extremely jumpy so he barked much more than he usually does when we travel, I was concerned he would disturb others. Again, not at all the owner's fault - AND THE VIEW MADE UP FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE! 😁

This property was incredible!! The location was perfect with an oceanfront view and close to restaurants, stores and just about anything you could want or need. The interior was very nice with a large kitchen, washer/dryer and plenty of room.
The owner (Barbara) was extremely responsive to our questions and made us feel like family!! There is NO DOUBT that we will be staying with Barbara on our next trip to Carolina Beach--THANKS BARBARA!!!

Awesome condo in the quiet north end of town. The views are priceless. We watched the surfers every night from the balcony! We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Carolina Beach and will be back next year. Vacationer tip...it's about a mile to the boardwalk, restaurants and shops. If you're here for the week buy a weekly municipal parking pass.

Location of condo is great. It is right on the beach, and the view from the living room is amazing! We loved sitting, looking out at the water watching the sun come up. The condo is basically comfortable, but we felt like it could’ve been a little bit cleaner, and some of the basic amenities could’ve been updated. For example, there was hand liquid soaps that look like they’ve been sitting there for years, or they’re being refilled with really old soap. Also, some of the smaller throw rugs were a little bit old and kind of stained with old animal urine. Also, I know that we are supposed to bring our own linens, but the comforter on top of the queen bed was really old and quite stained. And the pillows seemed pretty old. I know that this is a pet friendly condo and we brought our dog, but I feel like this unit allows dogs to be on furniture and beds, whereas we don’t allow our dog on any beds. We bring his dog bed. So you can kind of tell that some of the items in the house have had pets on them. The bathrooms were fine, but also they could eventually use some updating as well. Ultimately, our stay was fine, but I think just these little things could’ve made a difference. It doesn’t seem like much, but it adds to making the condo feel cleaner and a little more comfortable.

We had a wonderful time in this waterfront unit at Carolina Beach. The views are lovely and even if it is cloudy the ocean view is always captivating and changing. The beach is just steps away and the fall weather made it so pleasant to be outside. We loved playing with our dog on the beach and we even flew kites. The deck was a great place to watch sunsets and have morning coffee. A well equipped and comfortable condo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Exactly what we were looking for! Older property, clean and comfortable. The location was awesome, steps away from the ocean front, great views! We were disappointed that the beach chairs and umbrella were unavailable as mentioned in the description, however everything else was just great. We would definitely visit again!
