Our stay here was just incredible. The home was spacious and had everything we needed from beach towels, boogie boards, coolers, washer/dryer, and well stocked kitchen, etc. Each bedroom had a beautiful sliding glass door to a patio. I was awakened several mornings by ne ne geese trying to peek in our bedroom door! Absolutely paradise. Great communication with the management regarding a few questions . Thank you for sharing your space with us.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this very nice home. Just outside is a former golf course that isn't being used......great view. Nice kitchen...and spacious bedrooms with roomy walk-in closets. Helpful that the owners had boogie boards and a small backpack ice chest for our use....and several ice packs in the freezer.

The only downside was that the house has no aircon and was very hot during the day. At night, even if the outside temperature was nice, the house was still warm and stuffy.

The view to the golf course behind the house is really lovely and the house is just a quick drive to Hanalei bay. I did want to mention a few things which would help future renters: The biggest issue was that the neighbor's or perhaps ROAMING ROOSTERS crowed at ALL hours of the night and this was a big problem b/c they were close. Even with closed windows, fans and white noise. We think they are beautiful and enjoyed watching them, however. There were phantom "flushing" plumbing noises which also occurred in the night. Both of the above were intrusive and woke us up. The roosters would be the only reason we wouldn't rent this home again. We were there two weeks and aren't necessarily light sleepers, but still it was an issue. There were ants in the kitchen which came up behind the kitchen back splash areaand we barely had anything out other than bananas/apples, etc. We NEVER left "garbage" or uneaten food out, but the ants came. Also a couple of centipedes, one rather large, smaller one in the bathroom. ( I hesitate to mention that b/c it is, after all, a tropical island) If the kitchen had a tea kettle, chip clips, a dustbuster, TV cable instructions, a notepad or two and more pens, all burners flat and working on the stove, a good can opener ( we had to return a few things we couldn't open), we'd be good to go. I told Lori that we left the wine opener we bought.I figure if no one mentions these things, you won't know unless you're living in the space. THank you for receiving these suggestions in the way in which I am imparting them.....trying to be only helpful. We love Kauai.

The garage had a nice supply of boogie boards and some sand toys for the kids to use. We found a cooler and even ice packs in the freezer.
We stayed in jan/feb so we did not need ac all. The nights were cool and there were plenty of fans.

Arriving late at night from a long flight to Kauai, we found that everything ready and waiting for us. This home is very spacious, has three large bedrooms with private baths for each bedroom which was really a bonus. The house is very spacious, tons of room for everyone, very large well stocked kitchen with lots of dishes, pots and pans, etc. In the double garage we found beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, an umbrella, everything we needed for days at the beach. In addition, there are two lanais, a smaller one at the front of the house, and the larger main lanai at the back looking out onto the golf course with a mountain view... very lovely to wake up with your coffee in the morning. The home was well suited to our needs, everyone had their own private space to relax in, as well as lots of room to come together in the main living areas. It is a short drive to the grocery store, as it would be too far to walk. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and we met some of the nice people in the neighborhood. Everyone in our group was very happy with the house, and our stay was very pleasant and without troubles. Lori from Oceanfront was so helpful and kind, taking care of any requests or questions we had before and during our stay. Suggestions for making it even better would be: put an extra blanket in each bedroom for those who want to be warmer; replace/update the glassware in the kitchen; a bit more décor would add to the warmth and loveliness of the home. We would definitely recommend this home to others, as were very comfortable and happy here in our home away from home and it suited our needs very well.

The living areas were set up well and the bedrooms were very nice. For getting together in the evenings with our entire family of 8 it was perfect! We played monopoly three evenings in a row and had dinner at your lovely dining room table twice. There was good cross ventilation, which was a blessing! The ceiling fans were enhanced by the standing fans. The black fan needs to be dusted. We appreciated the extra towels and beach towels. Beach chairs would have been a nice addition.The refrigerator's lower grate came off a couple of times showing a very dirty underneath. The main bathroom could use another towel bar. Those are our only complaints other than the fan needing cleaning.Thank you for having vases, gardeners were around the neighborhood and let us glean from their cuttings!The washer & dryer were much appreciated as was the dishwasher!Oh, the front porch and front patio need weeding or to be hit with a weed killer spray.

I think I already review this VRBO home, but it was a great place for a home base in Kauai. Enjoyed the roominess and the huge avocadoes from the neighbor's trees. Loved being in Hawaii, the beaches, sunsets and wildlife. Can't wait to come back. Beautiful memories for sure!

The most relaxing vacation we've ever had, and the house was PERFECT. The breezes kept us cool, and the backyard was breathtaking at any hour of the day. Would love to have stayed permanently!

Made us a reservation at a great restaurant in Hanelei, where we went to celebrate our son's engagement. Really wonderful trip!
