Situato a pochi isolati dall'impianto di risalita Heavenly Stagecoach (5 minuti a piedi) e dal famoso Rim Trail (la migliore mountain bike ed escursionismo nella zona!) e 6 minuti dai casinò e dal centro del Lake Tahoe Village. C'è una fermata della navetta proprio di fronte a casa, quindi non c'è bisogno di guidare da nessuna parte. O cammina fino all'ascensore e ai sentieri o prendi una navetta per i casinò. È la posizione perfetta .... vicino all'azione ma molta privacy e tranquillità.

Stayed for 2 nights. House is great. Rooms are appropriate. Have a hot tub in the bathroom within the house. Balcony with a view and great living room to spend time with your friends. Beds are softer (I prefer firmer for myself). Loved the overall stay.

Booked this stay for my friend's bachelorette weekend and we had the best time. Jane was supper responsive and gave us some recommendations. The house is located in a great area if you want to go hiking, to the beach, or go downtown for dinner. Would recommend!

I've never written a bad review before. I'm sad to say that when we walked in, there were 5 big bowls of brown dirty water in the dining room due to a leaking roof. I contacted the host immediately (she was overseas) and she just said "oh no, I thought we fixed this".

We were traveling with two small kids and my parents. This is a wonderful place to explore Tahoe from. Close to Nevada Beach and also reasonably close to all the other great South Lake Tahoe attractions. The spa/hot tub was a plus and the main deck and private patios were great to hang out in. As with almost any place with a view in Tahoe you have to climb up the steps ( about 5-6 flights of stairs) which was a bit difficult for my parents. As mentioned in the other reviews we really enjoyed the sunrise as well. Overall a great place to stay at.

The place looks to have been very nice at one time, however, needs attention. Stained mattresses and carpets, cob webs, cracked sink and filthy vents. Check in process was great and property manager very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was a short five minute walk to the lift. It was clean and nicely furnished. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay again on our next ski vacation in this area.

This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our ski trip. It was within walking distance of the lifts, and the shuttle to get to other base lodges was close to the bottom of the stairs. Waking up to the sunrise every day (4 bluebird days in a row!) was a perfect way to start the morning, with an added bonus of a full moon rise one day. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and charming central location just right for 3 couples skiing for a few days. Close to heavenly and many local spots. Highly recommend the spa after a long day on the slopes.

Spent three days at Lake Tahoe and this was a lovely, cozy spot. There are three good sized bedrooms with comfy beds. Fully-equipped kitchen is so nice in a rental. The host, Jane, was helpful whenever needed. We'll be back!

Was in Tahoe over Labor Day for a wedding. This Vrbo was exactly what we were looking for as it was close to the wedding venue. June was great and very response to any questions we had.

We were very pleasantly surprised. My family and I visit Tahoe a few times a year and we absolutely will come back when there’s snow. The place was very clean and very surprised to see all the goodies and condiments. The first morning, I was so excited to enjoy a hot cup of coffee early in the morning to watch the sunrise on the patio. The property owners were very friendly and communicated with me the entire weekend. She was so nice to even allow me to re-enter the property when I forgot my jewelry in the medicine cabinet of one of the bathrooms after we had already checked out.
Definitely want to go back again… We were thrilled that there was a hiking trail so close by the lifts. We spent a day hiking together exploring and breathing fresh air away from the city. It’s a very quick and scenic drive down the mountain to where all the action is by the lake.

We really enjoyed this beautiful and cozy-yet-spacious place. Convenient (short walk) to the slopes, great views from high up, good-sized bedrooms, beautiful floors and ceilings in the common areas -- and terrific personal attention and responsiveness from the owner. (and epic powder!)

Tahoe is beautiful! Yes it is record snow year which is amazing. Kudos to the hard working people cleaning roofs and walkways. It was about three flights of what would have been steps to the condo - the steps were very dangerous and not cleaned - very narrow due to this and difficult to bring luggage and groceries up. We left our ski gear at the rental place as there was no way to carry them up(yet all the other properties on this street were clear and walkable) very dangerous. Some bulbs burnt out, and laundry room was wet with obvious washer leak . Again kudos to the workers though who did help us clean steps somewhat to be walkable and remove the 4 feet of snow that was left within 1.5 feet of our door

Falsehood #1: This property says "6 minutes from the casinos and center of Lake Tahoe Village". That is a lie. In the summer on a clear day, maybe it's 15 minutes to Rt. 50 on a winding mountain road. In winter? When the roads are in rough condition with snow & ice, it was 20 minutes to Rt. 50 and another 5-10 to the Tahoe village. We had to alter our plans when we arrived in the afternoon to ensure we had enough food and water because it was too dangerous to drive down that road in the dark and ice to get dinner.
Falsehood #2: This property says "Because of the incredible views from this location (and it being Tahoe), there are a lot of stairs up to this residence--therefore, I would not recommend this property for anyone that needs wheel chair access or are physically challenged or not fit." Notice how there are no images of these stairs. That's by design. Because in the winter the stairs were a total liability, poorly shoveled, and had no traction to walk up or down. We traveled with 5 & 8 year old children that couldn't gain footing & were terrified to try to maneuver to get in and out of the condo. This description should really say that this property is not recommended for families with small children in the winter, and should include an image of the steep stairs. Neither is the case.
Had either of these falsehoods been accurate in the description, we wouldn't have rented this property, and so that would be my advice to anyone reading this review. The owner is likely to glibly respond it's Tahoe in the winter, as she does on other negative reviews below. Learn from our mistake. This place isn't worth your time or money.
In addition to the misleading description: We had ants in the bathroom, broken outlets, a broken fireplace heater, and missing lightbulbs in fixtures. Hardly things one would want to deal with on a vacation. While the owner was responsive, and had light bulbs delivered to us, some of the fixtures were high in the ceiling and we could not reach them without a ladder which we did not have. It's not the renters job to do a walk through and list out all the things that need to be addressed. A properly managed property would have this taken care of on their own. Not this place. We were scolded by the owner after our stay for not finding all the issues necessary that her maintenance person could have fixed for us. How about do that before guests check in? If you can't guarantee that, then space out days between guests.

A friend and I enjoyed our stay here very much!! We arrived after some snow storms so it was a challenge getting up the stairs. They were cleared off just enough for us to get up them with our luggage. Parking is convenient right in front. The condo itself was inviting and cozy, especially the living area and gas fireplace. However, the downstairs fireplace was not working and there were no instructions on how to use it. One thermostat controls all levels of the condo and the downstairs is colder than upstairs. Our only issue we had was the upstairs shower would not deliver hot water for more than a couple minutes and this is even when no hot water was previously used. Not sure if it depends on the time of day when the hot water may work. Besides a few light bulbs being out and we couldn't get the washer to work, everything else was great! Anytime we reached out to the owner, we got a quick response. The area is perfect just tucked away about 13 minutes from Heavenly mountain where we went skiing.

We spent Christmas week at this property and we were pleased with several aspects but disappointed in others. This property is in need of some attention. Yes, it sleeps six as advertised, but the three of us consistently lacked hot water. The capacity seemed insufficient. The downstairs fireplace, which the owner explained to me is actually more of a heater, did not work. I reported it on day one of ten but the repair was unavailable. The downstairs TV did not work. The owner said she would send instructions but I did not receive them. The floors are beautiful as advertised. The carpets are old and have seem better times. It is true that one could walk to the Stagecoach lift, but in ski boots, 1/3 of a mile to,the lift is a bit much. The shuttle was reliable and ran every 15 minutes so I availed myself of the shuttle. There are several lightbulbs burnt out. A remote needed new batteries and the lighter for the gas fireplace was empty. The owner rushed over a lighter and batteries day one with muffins, which was appreciated. The owner responds to texts and emails in a very reasonable time. The kitchen is as advertised. Well appointed and clean. The gas fireplace upstairs it’s very nice. Finally, the internet signal was intermittent and challenged to support streaming. The bottom line is that in my opinion, this property needs attention to warrant a higher overall rating than three stars.

Everything we asked for and some.We we’re impressed with cleanliness of the condo and how comfortable the beds were after a long day of skiing and snowboarding.I really like the short walk to the chairlift. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Host was always in communication but condo was not shoveled out after storm. Had to lug all baggage through heavy snow. TV's in bedrooms didnt have service. Hot water sketchy. No shuttle service available as stated in rental description. On a good note, rental was cozy and clean and beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient to Heavenly Village.

We had a lovely time in Tahoe and the condo was perfect. Nevada side wasn’t opened for skiing the week we were there but it was a quick drive to the California side. Would love to return!

It happened to be a hot week and there was no AC. But most places in the mountain don't have AC. There were a few maintenance issues, electrical plugs not secured, screens missing, slider didn't lock. The place was clean. Just needs a little TLC.

The place was very clean, comfy, had everything we needed, the only downside is there are a lot of steps up to the condo. The views were spectacular, the beds and furniture super comfy and the owner was very responsive when we needed to contact them due to wifi issue trying to get into the condo.

We loved the atmosphere of Jane’s cabin. It was cozy and warm with the large fireplace. Perfect for post ski relaxing!
