Beautifully appointed house in a gorgeous location. The property is professionally cared for inside and out. What a wonderful stay we had and such a treat to all be together under one roof so comfortably. Thank you Management time for all your assistance. It was spectacular.

We spent four nights at the Villa Z. Luxury property - appointed very nicely, and really well stocked with kitchen supplies and laundry (3 sets of washers/dryers).
We had 16 people and there was plenty of space for everyone to get away and get some privacy. Lots of board games and lawn/lake toys. Cornhole was a favorite. Early morning paddle board and kayaking. We rented a boat nearby and tied up to our private dock. We even chartered a fishing trip and had them come get us by water.
A close 5 minute drive to Sandpoint for any groceries/supplies that might have been forgotten. The management company was super responsive when issues came up. Delightful stay - and we look forward to coming again!

Fabulous house with plenty of room for everybody, very well appointed kitchen and common areas. Kayaks, paddle boards, floaties, floating trampoline, and lake blanket kept kids very busy. Working boat lift was a great convenience. We had a great time. Management team was perfect and professional and easy to communicate with.

Driving up to this home was beyond expectations. This home is beautiful, it was perfect for our family reunion. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and beautiful. We are a family that loves to cook, the kitchen was amazing, well stocked. The living areas were perfect for our large family to gather as a group. The views are stunning. Guest service was attentive and responded quickly. Would love to make this an annual destination for our fami.y events.

Picture Perfect!
We recently had a large group of family, friends, and kids stay at VillaZ and we had an incredible time! The house is beautiful and extremely spacious, even though we had around 20 guests. The grounds are lovely and we even had some luck catching fish off the dock. The kids and grownups loved paddleboarding and kayaking. The mountain backdrop against the lake was like staring at a postcard. The management company was communicative and accommodating. I would love to stay at this beautiful home again anytime.

Perfect for business retreat!
While it took a little time to figure out what all the light switches were for, the place was perfect for our business retreat! There were plenty of space for breakout sessions, space for almost everyone to have their own room/bathroom.
When it comes to the kitchen, we had hired a private chef. He found that there was limited refrigeration! An extra refrigerator in the garage would have come in handy as he had food for four days. Could have used a few small serving tongs, serving spoons, and medium size serving platters. Everything else was in great working order!!
We had an issue with two of the coffee pots the first morning and management brought a new replacement quickly!!
We did have a few who were looking forward to having access to the dock, but upon arrival we found a note that stated it was not to be used until after our check out date. Would have been nice to know that it was not going to be available prior to our check in.
Overall the space was amazing! The fire pit on the beach was greatly appreciated and used every night!!!

Amazing home for our family Thanksgiving!
First off, I have to say the property management company was AMAZING!! They took great care of us and even sent someone out on Thanksgiving since we tripped a breaker and weren't able to get into the room where the breaker was. The home and property were beautiful and everything we could have asked for. The kitchen was so well stocked and this is coming from a family of cooks. We did bring some of our own supplies but that is because we were picky about how we cooked our turkey. The one thing it needs is some new can openers. Plenty of coffee machines, the ice machine was great in the bar area, and five bedrooms, the additional murphy bed (which was a memory foam bed as well) and the kids room gave us plenty of room for 6 couples and 8 kids. I highly recommend this home for a family or friend gathering!!

We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful or better property for our family vacation. We were a group of 15, ranging in age from 14-82. The house was perfect——immaculately clean, well-planned in the layout, and the best equipped property we have ever rented! Everything was there in abundance from wine glasses, silverware, cooking utensils and tons of “necessities” to get us started in the beautiful kitchen. The staff were polite, friendly and very responsive to every inquiry. They brought extra life jackets within an hour of our request, came to fix a blown fuse right away——great customer service. We would definitely return!

Great house
This is a great property with everything you could want for a great vacation. The only knock I have is the dishwashers. They were high end junk and we ended up having to hand wash all our dishes because the washers just didn’t get things clean.

We came just in time when the snow freshly feel so the view was beautiful to wake up too! The home is very well kept and beautiful!! There was a bit of a smell upon arrival, maybe the sewage not sure. But besides that it was wonderful! The home has everything you need to cook with and more!! Would definitely come back!

From the moment we pulled up to the property we were in awe! Villa Z had everything we needed for a luxurious and relaxing family get-a-way! The house is stunning and extremely clean! There are so many hidden gems to this house and something for everyone! We all enjoyed the view and time down at the private beach! When we weren’t enjoying our time out on the gorgeous patio, we were relaxing inside and admiring this gorgeous home. The property manager was very kind and helpful all while making the check in and check out process go extremely smooth. We can’t wait to plan another trip out to Villa Z! Villa Z was perfect for our family of 17. The house is beautifully furnished and had the best supplied kitchen utensils and dishes that we've ever seen in a rental home. Everyone enjoyed the beautifully maintained yard and dock area. The kayaks and paddle boards were an added bonus. Our family has been meeting for week-long vacations for over 30 years. We all agreed this was one of the very best homes that we've had. Thank you Villa Z!

Because of the Covid19 issue, we had some reservations about even going through with the vacation but Daugherty Management provided an environment which made us feel comfortable and safe.

We just can't thank you all enough for your help arranging this stay and for offering this amazing property for rent! From the moment we pulled into the driveway to the moment we left, we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. The location was so close to town, yet felt secluded and private.
The lake views were outstanding and were the only thing that could take our eyes off of the beautiful home itself. We enjoyed many of the amenities that were offered, like the pool table, hot tub, fireplaces, and sandy beach. The master suite was so luxurious. Waking up to the lake view with the fireplace roaring was so nice, and the heated floor in the spacious and well lit bathroom was wonderful. The hot tub with the wonderful lake view was an amazing treat in the cool fall air each night! From our first glimpse as we drove in, we were so excited to see the home was just as beautiful and luxurious as it appeared in the pictures. Then we started finding many little surprises that exceeded our expectations - board games, books, the TV entertainment system, etc. I feel like even if we had forgotten something we needed, it probably would have been supplied! The property and home were both very clean. And the sandy beach was so nice and clean; I imagine it is fun to walk barefoot in the warmer months!
The amenities are really what make this property exceed expectations. There are books and board games and fireplaces to enjoy them by. The bar area was so nice, with the fresh clean ice in the ice machine and the conversation cards to enjoy in front of the large view windows. I wish we had some warmer weather during our stay, because being able to use the paddleboards or even just fish from the dock or sandy beach would be so enjoyable. Seeing all the water activity gear they had available was impressive. The oversized refrigerator and freezer are enviable! We came for a relaxing anniversary getaway, and this property helped us accomplish that. With so much to offer in this home, we were constantly finding something new to enjoy and it left us wanting more, which is always a good sign!

Great Place
Beautiful home. We enjoyed the gourmet kitchen with two dishwashers, the BBQ, spacious bar and outdoor jacuzzi. We were there with five other couples, and there were plenty of places to spread out and relax, as well as spaces to all be together. The beach and fire pit were very nice. Those sleeping in the bedrooms above the living space may wish to wear earplugs so as not to hear early risers, etc.

This house is absolutely beautiful. It is the perfect place to take a large group of people too. I loved the loft area with all of the bunkbeds and we plan to do something similar in one of four guest rooms. The view is amazing and we had wonderful sunsets. The hot tub was a perfect place to enjoy the view. We had an osprey as a guest on the property, which was so cool.

This stunningly beautiful property even beat our expectations as pictures cannot begin to give you the “feel” till you are there.
We loved the stylish décor and new furnishings and felt like we were staying in a private, elegant estate but was still warm, comfortable and friendly.
The kitchen and butler’s pantry were well appointed and accommodated our large group of adults and children. Everything we needed was there.
The landscaping, extra, extra-large patio with outside kitchen, huge yard and expansive beach made for great entertaining. Paddleboards, kayaks, and fishing off the big dock added to the fun.
The Z Zone was a surprise as it had not been built when we booked. Kids had super comfortable, oversized beds with their own “cubby” for charging their devices and holding books. It also had a big Smart TV so they could play games. Great for the adults, too.
Evenings were spent on the beach by the fire pit enjoying s’mores and refreshments.
We are coming back next year and highly recommend the amazing “Villa Z”

Amazing home and location!
This home is a dream come true! Plenty of room for a large family reunion--everyone had their own space. Kids had a blast on the sandy beach, jumping off the dock, and tubing and surfing all day. House comes with kayaks and paddle boards. Bunk room is awesome for a big group of cousins. Beautiful house and amazing location!!!

We all loved staying at Shea Villa. Highlights were watching the sunsets and the bald eagles flying above. If your family likes to cook, the kitchen works really well - room for many cooks and everything you could need. Lovely bike rides in the area and plenty to do.

Family and Friends Get Summer Getaway
This was our second year at the palatial "Shea Villa". The second trip was every bit as good as the first. There were four families in our group and the accomodations could not be better. The back patio is the perfect spot to take in the gorgeous surroundings and the huge grass backyard made for the perfect volleyball court. The dock accomodated our two boats and two jet skis and the location could not be more ideal. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the Sandpoint area. Such great memories.

Magnificent Location
Can’t beat the location of this home. Breathtaking view, magnificent sunrises and sunsets. Easy drive to Schweitzer Mountain for hiking or just taking the ski lift to the top, to Coeur D’Alene and/or to Sandpoint. The home had all the needed amenities for our group of 15 family members, including a hot tub. Only downside: the bathrooms for the guest rooms were separate from the guest rooms, not en suite like the master bedroom, hence the reason for 4 stars vs 5. Responsive property management team. Overall, great week for our family gathering.

50th Wedding Anniversary with Family
Shea Villa was wonderfully maintained; neat and clean as could be. The layout is great for families. The large flat lawn in back of the house was really helpful for badminton to soccer. Being on the water with a new dock was special. Best of all was that Kellee Daugherty and Theresa DuPerault (who checked us in) were very attentive and accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room, amenities and great layout. Kellee and the staff were more than accommodating and made the planning seamless. The experience was exemplary. A guest who stayed with us for my 40th birthday was so impressed she booked the same place a week or two later for a gathering she is organizing! Two thumbs up. Highly recommend!

Shea Villa
Shea Villa is a wonderful place to host a large group gathering. We had 6 couples in our group and it was fabulous to each have a vanity in our room and with 5.5 bathrooms there was never a wait. The kitchen was stocked very well and there was plenty of counter space and with all the bars and a huge table there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat. The home is more impressive then the photos show as well. There was plenty of seating for hanging out, playing games and to escape to a private part of the house for alone time. There is also a luxury hot tub. Actually everything about the home was luxurious. We will definitely book it again. Would be a fab place to gather in the summer because the outdoor living is amazing.

Destination Resort Home
Our family just retuned from a week at Shea Ville at Murphy Bay. Having experienced living within this expansive home with all the amenities as described is more wonderful than ever imagined. The picturesque waterfront property and view of Sandpoint across the lake can be enjoyed from inside as well. My favorite place beside the kitchen was the second story open air hot tub that gave me the sense of being on a cruise ship. We all enjoyed the natural blend of activities right at "home" and a trip to town for huckleberry ice cream or to the Pine Street Bakery for something delicious was fun and doable. Murphy Bay is great for a paddle board beginner and the more experienced boarder found excitement too. I'm happy we had our ski boat to explore the lake and tube and to find a fishing hole by Springy Point State Park just around the bend. We explored the bike paths, Bird museum, and City Beach but were always happy to come "home" to our private piece of paradise. Kudos to the property manager and concierge for their professional and friendly handling of details from start to finish. Wishing for no more wild fires!

I have read the other reviews and I think cirruspilot captures it all... this place is amazing! It has everything you could want, imagine, need.
Our visit was a family reunion/funeral for our Mom. We came from 4 corners of the country to gather for this. Yes it was sad but it could have been even more so if we had to stay in a hotel with limited space for the 14 of us to meet, reminisce and discuss. Staying at Sheavilla gave us time together. The huge kitchen area allowed home cooked meals, the many spaces and rooms gave us places to visit and relax. The deck is wonderful with such a beautiful view of the lake and the fire pit was relaxing in the evening.
Eagles, Herons, turkeys, geese...these visitors were fun to watch and share the waterfront area with. Enough grass in the yard to play catch too.
Nothing was left to chance...cabinets were extremely plentiful, storage rooms/pantry had lots of room, plenty of bathrooms for the multitude and beds to sleep in. There were beautiful granite counters everywhere and a huge glass 10 person dining room table fit most of us at mealtime. The breakfast bar accommodated the overflow as did the bar if needed.
The house is amazing and comfortable. Quite upscale and luxurious. I would hope anyone renting would be responsible to take care and respect it for the owners. It is very kind of them to have opened their house for others to enjoy. It was definitely made for gathering and I highly recommend it.
As for the property manager, she was very quick to respond even when away from her office and very kind in helping us find this house. She walked us through the rental agreement and had someone meet us to let us in and explain how things worked. There is a clean up process and a few special needs of the house (for example dishwashers must NOT be stopped mid-use) but simple and understandable. All the directions are in a binder just in case.
If you are looking to rent in the Sandpoint area, Daughtry Property Management can help you find the right place. Sheavilla may be it. If it is, it is worth it!

Miami Vice meets Sandpoint
In my opinion, you cannot find a nicer, more beautiful place to stay than Lake Pend Oreille for a summer vacation. We've been coming here for a few years. We've tried hotels, motels and rentals. Be forewarned.. Once you try a luxury rental (like Shea Villa), it's game over. You will NEVER go back to a motel room...EVER.
The pictures accurately reflect the beauty and attention to detail of this property. The kitchen and dining area are well stocked for large or small groups. We spent half the time looking for things in the multitude of cabinets! Besides its fantastic location right on the lake, what made this property stand out was the room with the 4 single beds. We had a group of teenagers that plugged in their X-box and spent many nights playing into the wee morning hours after a long day on the lake... while the rest of us slept quietly in the main bedrooms. We didn't hear a peep even though they can be loud at times! Boys!
The hot tub was used almost nightly by the kids and adults. Also, the fire pit lit up fast with the gas assist. The wifi was available almost everywhere in the house with fast service.
Outside, you will be heckled by the resident Golden and Bald Eagles that nest there. In fact, you will be so accustom to hearing the eagles after a week they will start to sound like sparrows. At night, you will see more bats that thought possible.
During our stay the boat lift did not work but I'm told that will be fixed next year. Tying up a boat to a dock when it gets windy can be nerve wracking if you have not done it before.
Finally, the cool interior. At times I felt transported into the luxurious Miami style homes of South Beach. The front staircase, entry and building construction are straight out of the series Miami Vice (In my opinion). Then, you enter another room and you are whipped back to the woodsy Northwest. The eclectic mix of styles seems to blend seamlessly in the fantastic luxury rental.
Finally, the question remains... would we stay here again??? Let's just say I was the first one to contact Kellee immediately after our stay... Book us for next year... where do I sign!!!

Awesome location for Family Reunion!
What a beautiful home! We had our family reunion here in July 2014 with ages ranging from 5 to 85 and family members from overseas and 6 U.S. states. There was plenty of room, and privacy, for everyone. The common areas are perfect for visiting, dining together indoors or out (we mostly used the outdoor grill and tables for casual dining), or watching World Cup soccer!
We rented a motor boat, paddle board, and two-person kayak. It was great to be directly on the lake. We swam, water skied, played badminton on the back lawn, and just sat and visited a lot.
The kitchen and butler's pantry are perfect. There's pretty much everything you could imagine at Shea Villa. The concierge was extremely attentive to all of our questions and needs. We would definitely come back. All the kids called it "the mansion." A very relaxing, enjoyable week was had by all! Thanks so much for everything! It was perfect!!
