The house was very comfortable, the neighborhood is very quiet and the view of the Superstitions i very nice. Close to grocery and other services.

Rita is a wonderful host. She truly wants to ensure her guests are satisfied during their stay. We will definitely return for another stay in her home.

The house is well kept, well supplied, appliances work well and it is clean. It is a short drive to hiking and off-roading. We will definitely be back.

This is a lovely home located in a very safe community. Everything was clean and provided to make our stay relaxing. The community pool was down the road and we found that everybody was very friendly. The owner communicated with us before and followed up after we left. I would rate our stay as an A+.

We rented the home for our adult daughter, son, and granddaughter who where in town for a family celebration. It was perfect - the home is so well appointed that you feel like you're home the minute you walk in the door. For down times, the 4 bikes in the garage encourage guests to go for a ride to explore the gated community. In addition, the pool is just down the street or the back porch welcomes you to sit outside and enjoy the amazing view! We will most definitely rent this home again. Second year we have stayed at this place in Gold Canyon. It was great. Although there is construction behind the house it does not obstruct the view. Still a great view of the Superstition Mountains. The place is well stocked and very comfortable. Close to many hiking trails.

The home had every thing we needed for a two month stay. Rita was available by phone whenever we had a question or a minor problem.We would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed in Rita’s Home for 3 months while our new home was being built. I can’t say enough great things about our stay there! Breathtaking views of the Superstition Mountains right in the back yard and everything you need in her home! Clean, up to date and full stocked with all the things for a stress free stay! We were very happy with our stay at your house in Gold Canyon. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The view out the back patio was outstanding. We enjoyed many evenings watching the sunset while having a glass of wine.

We stayed 5 days. The home has beautiful, nearly unobstructed views of the Superstion Mts. from the back patio.We traveled to Tucson and it was an easy commute. We hiked on the State Peralta Trail with awesome undeveloped views which is maybe a 20 min drive on the improved gravel road out the back of the subdivision. We paid a $20 family fee online to use the State land. It was worth It. The kids enjoyed the community pool, a nice place to relax and copl off. Everything in the description was spot on. We had seamless communication with Rita. It is a beautifully furnished home with everything we neded and a we found it to be a great value.

My family stayed at this home for 3 days while visiting family nearby. The home has a great layout. Is tremendously comfortable and the views are better than expected. We would certainly stay here again.

This is my 2nd time to Rita's fabulous house...and the next time will not come soon enough! The guys headed out for their own adventures bird watching and hiking and us ladies went bike riding and then spent the most wonderful time pool side! I have never been more relaxed then I have been on this vacation! Girls trip already in the plans!

I have never used VRBO and was a little apprehensive but we were not disappointed. This house was perfect, the views from the back yard stunning and Rita was so very accommodating. The house is close to hiking trails, shopping, dining, lakes...you name it! The communal pool was so refreshing and we had to ourselves the entire stay. I am definitely staying here again.

We rented this lovely home in May for girls week!! The weather was perfect and this home had everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool was great and we enjoyed our coffee outside on the patio in the mornings. The view of the Superstition Mountains is amazing as well as the stars at night! Can't wait to return again. Rita is the best!!

Both the home and the desert views are just stunning! This was the perfect location for us to host a small family reunion. The home is super comfortable, every amenity is available. The owner Rita was very accommodating and helpful. The wildlife behind the house in the desert was amazing. There are hiking/biking trails right down the street. You can use the pool and the gym. I highly recommend this home. I thank the owner for sharing it with us, you helped us to end a two week long road trip on a good note!

We knew this was going to be a great time from the moment we walked in...felt better than home! Almost didn't want to go to sleep because it was so amazing outside looking at the stars and was so eager to see the sun shining on Superstition Mountain in the morning! Of course, now that it is time to go home...we want to stay longer...looks like we will be coming back again...and again...and again! If we can't own a property down here...this is where I want to stay!

We had a fantastic vacation staying at Rita's house in Gold Canyon. The house was perfect with all comforts of home and located in a private gated community with a beautiful pool. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the back patio with fantastic view of Superstition Mountain. The barbeque worked very well and we enjoyed cooking on it. Rita was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Access to Hwy 60 is very easy and a short drive to several golf courses and restaurants. Would recommend to others looking for a quite neighborhood with awesome views and natural surroundings..

Our Sunday dinner was enjoyed by all, as we were all able to sit within the dining area. The owner was very workable and flexible to meet our needs. In fact, she was just Great! Thank you again!

Wonderful week long stay at Rita's home in Gold Canyon. All the previous reviews were spot on accurate. The house was perfect, neighborhood peaceful, safe and low-key. What I didn't realize is how close the desert trails were to the house. Behind the house is miles of vacant desert leading up to the mountain. It was wonderful to go walking there in the morning and in the evening to take a towel and a beer out back and watch the sunset. Amazing wildlife was everywhere. NOTE *when hiking, stay away from those fluffy looking cactus plants... they are pure evil. At night, on the back patio, it was SO QUIET, even in the neighborhood. The sky was amazing. We sat there with our phone apps and located all the various constellations. The patio is enclosed with fence and wiring to keep out wildlife... which is very important as when we were visiting some friends who live in Apache Junction, I almost stepped on a rattlesnake in their yard. I felt very safe in Rita's. The location was perfect. We went hiking, boating at Canyon Lake and tubing down Salt River. Everything was very close. I also found tremendous value-add in having all the special things available for us at the house, that you don't always find at a rental: ice cooler, floats for the pool, bikes, etc. I was pleased that the home isn't decorated in that "cheesy" way that some rentals are, with cheap decor. The furniture was beautiful, the linens great quality, the home beautifully decorated. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel room/resort. If I ever stay in the area again, I will look up Rita's home first. I was a little nervous about renting via vrbo without ensuring I knew what I was getting into, but found Rita, her home, and the experience very positive.

Rented house for 5 days Starting the 4th of May 2012....great weather....great golf....Great House We will be returning next year...everything neat and clean ...great location for golf ...30 minutes to Skyharbor airport
