Stayed here several times and we always enjoy it. A few things could be improved. There are no dustpans which was odd. Not enough bath towels either. The grill was dirty and some garbage was on the deck and outdoor basement staircase. The grass was unusable and had big pokey weeds.It’s a good deal though and has lots of room for our family. It’s convenient to get to and pretty nicely taken care of. Great communication with the rental agency and east check in make it worth the few downsides.

This is a nice house but it’s very close to other houses and there are no blinds on any of the main floor windows so people could be looking in on us. Also, the tvs are a bit outdated so we experienced a little trouble trying to get connected. Otherwise, very comfortable beds, convenient to town, great space within the house, and great communication with owner.

Way better in person!
This home was perfect for our big family. The pictures don't do it justice, it was perfect. Great layout. Plenty of living and entertaining spaces beyond the bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked and had multiple washer and dryer sets which was super helpful! Construction around the house was a tad annoying but everyone was very nice. Conveniently located near everything. We loved our stay here!

Great big house
Loved our stay. The house was big and beautiful. Very clean, well stocked. Lots of big areas for a large crowd.
It is surrounded by new development now instead of a field as shown in the pictures but that did not detract from our stay.

Nice Home
This is a nice home with good spaces for gathering. There were things about it that seemed like they werent ready for renters to come in. We did find towels clean and folded in the laundry room, but not in the bathrooms or kitchen. A half a roll of paper towels in the kitchen would have been saved with one kitchen washcloth. It is a beautiful home. But there isnt a hair dryer in the entire house. Not in 5 bathrooms. Which may seem like no big deal, but it was -5 degrees in the morning. That is tough on a wet head. This is our 5th home we have rented at Bear Lake. We love to come to this valley.

Comfortable Home Away from Home
We loved our stay at The Red House. There was plenty of room for everyone to play and/or relax in quiet away from the play. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the bonus indoor and outdoor games/toys that were provided. The owners were quick to respond to our concerns and questions. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect family retreat
We loved staying here! Each floor had a nice family living area, plenty of space for different groups to enjoy different activities. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had one issue during our stay but the manager was available to help quickly and efficiently.

Awesome Rental great for large groups
This place was exactly what we needed for our family reunion. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the location is great as well. We had a great time here it has everything you need to just come and enjoy your stay. We would definitely recommend this place and will personally try to get this property again for our next stay.

Lots of room, comfortable stay
Overall, we had a great experience with this rental. The owner was easy to reach and everything went really smooth. There was plenty of beds (extremely comfortable I might add!) and rooms for our family of 12. The great rooms were awesome on all 3 levels and were great to lounge and visit. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels, soap and even shampoo. There was definitely not enough seating in the kitchen however. There was only one table and 7 chairs and a couple were broken. Another table and more chairs would have been great so we could all sit together and at the same time. All in all we enjoyed our stay. There was an unfortunate circumstance however. There was a lot of construction going right on the property. (They had cut into the driveway leaving a very steep dropoff and this was concerning since we had young kids and babies staying. The first morning we had a very rude awakening at 6:30 am where a cement truck was honking its horn and waking us all up. The noise was unreal. Jackhammers and cement mixers, workers yelling-it was ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend staying here until all the homes around the property are complete. There was traffic every day-trucks coming and going, dropping off equipment and workers all morning and throughout the day. It was not safe to be outside and the noise was crazy so it wasn't very relaxing outside.

Great Family Property
About as close to the Pickleville Playhouse as you get can with a vacation rental and a good start on your way to Rendezvous Beach, this place was great for the family and well positioned for a week of different activities at Bear Lake!
Close enough to Garden City where you didn't notice the drive into town. Close enough to Rendezvous Beach where you appreciated being closer.

Roomy and comfortable
There was plenty of room for the 16 of us , and the beds were comfortable with nice linens, pillows, and bedding. The house was clean with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the ping pong table. It was nice to store some of our toys in the garage. The AC didn’t work for the master bedroom on the main level , and it was cold downstairs. The main issue was the construction noise right next door.

Family reunion-
First time in three years that we were able to be together! Everyone- including teenagers had their own bed & bathroom/plenty of space/ room for the baby & 2year old - no one heard the baby up at night! Everyone loved the house!

Spacious house for large groups!
We enjoyed our long weekend at the Big Red House. It is very spacious, plenty of living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We could have used a few more blankets, towels, toilet paper, bathroom soap and kitchen supplies, i.e. cooking utensils. The large coffee pot wouldn't work. Other then a few minor housekeeping items, this is a great house for large gatherings!!

The Red House
The house was very nice and spacious. There weren't any garbage bags and the dishwasher leaked onto the kitchen floor. In the master bath the only way to flush the toilet was to turn the water off and on to fill up the tank. Other than that it was good.

Great for our 15 people family reunion
Nice home with a great floor plan with areas for people to gather and also areas where people can get away if you have been gathered together too much. Very easy access and central location to the different activities Bear Lake offers.

Beautiful Bear Lake Home!
This place is stunning, woodwork/molding is so nice. The house has so many great hangout spots that our group could spread out and not feel cramped. Comfy beds and great TVs, location is close to everything from the Lake to the restaurants. Kids loved the ping pong and shuffleboard. Only issue was the garbage wasn’t taken out the week prior and the house smelled from the oversight. Would stay here again 100%.

Great House for our Family reunion
We had a great time staying at the Red House. The place was very nice, had lots of stuff to use in the kitchen and the ping pong and shuffleboard made for some fun times. Also as a nice surprise was all the beach cruiser bikes that were in the garage so that was fun to take bike rides. Also, we liked that it had plenty of parking and space as it is the only house on that street so the kids could play on the paved road with their skateboards and rollerblades and ntot worry about traffic. The house has 3 sets of washer/dryers and two kitchens, which we didn't really do anything in the downstairs kitchen but the possibility was always there. The owner was very nice and responded quickly to any questions we had. Really I should give this a terrible review so that next time we need to rent it maybe it will be available, but we had such a good time that I couldn't do that. The house is walking distance to the Pickelville playhouse and pretty close to the public access to the beaches. When we have occasion to return to Bear Lake we will definitely try to stay here again.

Great vacation home.
This home is both spacious and comfortable. The owner was very accommodating to allow us an early check in. It's a perfect location for accessing the lake without having to drive a long distance and the ample parking next to the home could not be better or more convenient. Although the property is advertised as having two ovens, we found the oven in the basement is not hooked up.

This is a huge, comfortable home in a great location!
We loved having space to spread out at our family reunion. There is a large comfortable living area on each of the 3 levels. There are activities like video games, pingpong, and shuffleboard to play (though the pictures also showed a basketball hoop game that was not present which upset my nephew who had his heart set on playing it). We were a few little issues with A/C upstairs not working very well and downstairs being an icebox and a stove not being hooked up downstairs which we hoped to use, but overall we loved the Big Red House.

This is a beautiful home with room for everyone. Even in the winter, there are things to do and lots of cozy couches to visit or watch TV. We've stayed here every year for several years and it seems like home to us.

Fine Place for a Family Reunion
The Red House provides comfort and reasonable support for an extended family reunion. We've gathered there for the past 3 summers with 30+ adults and children participating each time. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the air conditioning unit is functional and keeps the temperature cool, the place is clean and tidy upon arrival, and the house is roomy and spacious. Its quiet and peaceful (a plus) but several miles distance from Bear Lake beaches for those who enjoy the water. After no building activity in the past, during summer 2017 there was considerable construction of roads and sidewalks in the immediate area. Presumably in the future there will be way more adjacent houses and activity than has been the case in the past. Whether this will enhance or detract remains to be seen. Finally, Carianne, the property manager, has been helpful and very reasonable to work with.

Great, with a few glitches. No batteries in remotes, no wine glasses (but we bought some and left them behind), no knife sharpeners for very dull knives, no cork screw (but there is now), one cutting board for 5 cooks.

My running group had the 'best time' at The Red House. The house is beautiful and had all the amenities needed for our stay. The house was everything as described and you were available whenever I had questions. My run group had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend you to another run group for the BearLake Trifeca next year! The location was perfect to enjoy the Garden City area. Lots of great eateries. Thanks again for making sure our visit was awesome!
