You couldn't ask for a more beautiful beach house and the location is perfect.

This is a great unit at a great location. Right on the water and in the center of the Mission Beach area. Walking distance to everything needed and a short drive to Ocean Beach, another favorite. Highly recommend.

Great location, great views. Was disappointed with the glass on patio with water stains and covered in bird poop, obstructed view. The place was not as clean as would have liked. The floors were dirty if walking bare foot. Bath rugs clearly hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Towels were old and stained. Doors handles had smears and were very dirty. Other than cleanliness no complaints.

The condo met all of our expectations, and beyond. The location couldn't have been more perfect. The sliding glass doors that overlook the beach were amazing and when opened let all of wonderful sea air in. It was so great being right on the beach.

Let me start out with I cannot wait to come back to this property. It was my first time in San Diego and the weather was perfect everyday. The sunsets were perfect and can be watched from the balcony that overlooks the beach and ocean. Great set up and beautiful accommodations. Thank you!!!

Everything was as advertised although Paper towels and toilet paper were lacking.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO. The location is amazing with the second floor balcony views it felt like we were on the ocean. The house is appointed nicely we were able to cook our meals and enjoy a relaxing time. We will be back!

We had such a lovely time. This house is in the heart of all the action. Love that there is a parking space which is not easy to find. The communication with Andrea/ doug, the house/ the check in, the views were all phenomenal. Would highly highly recommend this place. Close to all the action/ restaurants. So awesome to be able to just walk out and go for a walk along the beach. And you don’t need to fight restaurants for a sunset view when you have your very own private deck to watch it from. The house was very clean and fully equipped. The beds were very comfortable also.

Amazing stay, Amazing location, Amazing home. Loved the patio and open concept! We are a family of 6 and had to rent a large vehicle. Parking was very easy in and around the condo. Can’t wait to come back.

The location is just wonderful. To be able to sit on the deck and watch the ocean was the perfect getaway. Really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the communication from the property manager.

Beautiful location on beach. Nice grass area immediately adjacent to unit. Floors were quite dirty but this is probably the reality being on the beach. Some kitchen appliances were dirty as well. Dryer would continuously shut off I think because of overheating or lack of ventilation. Overall a beautiful stay!

Very nice property and location

The place is beautiful and modern. Loved the view! The owner is very nice and easy to work with. It is nice to have a garage to park in. We will be back.

Great trip

We were suprised by the appearance of some of the sheets and towels. They looked dirty. We washed them before using them. The stove is bragged about, but only two burners would light without using a lighter and two burners would not light at all. Opening the refrigerator and freezer doors was strenous. The doors felt tight. The master bathroom is open both to the master bedroom and the bedroom windows of the units across the alley. To have privacy while using the restroom or showering, you have to close the curtains. This means closing the door and having no air flow in the summer while you are in there. After being there, I read more reviews and started to see some of these same issues being reported. Loved the location. Loved the view. Loved the steam shower. Liked having a parking spot even though it required a smaller vehicle. We had to contact the manager over an issue and the problem was resolved fairly quickly. Prior to arrival, a few questions I had were answered promptly. It's a mixed bag of really great and really disappointing. If the rates weren't so high, I would have less disappointment, but at the rates we paid, it seemed many of these issues should not have been issues.

We loved our stay here!!

It was a great location! Great for beach access, and also shops and restaurants in Balboa Park next-door. The condominium needs to be updated and the fans need to be replaced and the second bedroom needs to be closed down with walls not glass the appliances need to be updated, but everything worked, and it was clean and very accommodating.

The location couldn't be better and the house was gorgeous. It was hard to leave. We will definitely be coming back and hope to get the same beach house rental.

This is our second stay in this unit. It’s in a great location with everything you need for a great trip. The owners are very responsive. We especially enjoyed watching the dolphins play from the balcony.

We enjoyed staying at this property, a great location, million dollar view, really well kept and clean (a few issues with old appliances), efficient management. Just a few notes at first…I searched for properties with a/c as I have some family members that are very sensitive about that. This property came up in that search, but it does not have a/c - not a problem the week I stayed there as it was very cold and cloudy…but if you stayed here during hot weather, that could be an issue. The appliances are a pretty old - the washer and dryer work, but you may think they are haunted by Ghostbusters they way they shake and rattle if you put one too many towels in. The grill on the patio below does not work and is filthy…they put a small Weber on the deck, probably because of that, and it works fine. The dishwasher really needs replacing as the door doesn’t close right, and if you get it wrong, it will leak badly. 3 of the five burners on the great stovetop will only light if you use a torch. OK, that’s it for the downside…this is a great location and a fine property, great elevator, good garage situation if your car isn’t too big (normal on Mission), great elevator, super clean, and that view is worth the price of admission. I prefer a bit further south on Mission as some of the bad stuff happening ion San Diego bleeds over this close to the park. San Diego itself is suffering and this breaks my heart as I loved this city so much. The drug users and mentally “challenged “ are everywhere - I saw many instances of people doing hard drugs on the street, on the beach, in the park…we saw two people who died (bodies covered, police and rescue sealing off the scene) at an entrance to Mission Park. I had my car hit by something thrown by a raving, raging person on a sidewalk. I walked past a raving man waving a large knife in the Tailgate Park at Petco, not ten steps later there was man laying in a fetal position - dead asleep - on the sidewalk, his wheelchair and his belongings next to him. As we crossed that street by the tram tracks there were two small groups of people smoking drugs out of spoons. Police and security did nothing. Driving downtown, as you exit the freeway to Petco, there are homeless encampments on the sidewalk as far as you can see in every direction. This is a travesty. I can not recommend San Diego to anyone…and that breaks my heart as I have loved coming here every year…but it is now too much.

This apartment is beautiful and located as perfectly on mission beach as possible, overlooking the beach and walking distance to restaurants and markets. The check in process was easy and there was parking for a medium size car in the garage, which is gold when staying at a beach property. Gorgeous kitchen and decorated tastefully and stocked with everything you might need and more. The people above us were pretty noisy but we expected that given the location and that it was a weekend and it didn't bother us at all, but would if we didn't expect it. Use some white noise and it's fine. The beautiful accommodations were perfect since the weather wasn't great so we spent more time than usual inside. The steam shower was also really nice. Perfect stay aside from the weather.

We really enjoy our stay as the views are spectacular and location cant be beat. We did find disposal not working, several minor items needing minor maintenance (patches to drywall, blind cord broken, weather stripping on front door coming off, paint touch up. Nothing that would make or break our trip but things to note and correct given the cost of nightly rental. We also encountered maintenance on next door happening very early in the morning and downstairs unit being shown by realtor which was awkward as we tried to eat breakfast outside but don't seem to be things in your control.

The property was fantastic and the hosts were wonderful. They responded timely to our inquiries and made our first experience with a VRBO very pleasant. The unit was well appointed and the location was spectacular. Watching the sun rise and set on the ocean waves was mesmerizing and will be a cherished memory for our family!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at this beach house. We hope to stay there again sometime.

Right next to all the action and Belmont Park, easy drive to other attractions like Sea World. Short walk to convenience stores, restaurants, and bars. Had a great time here.

This was a great rental for our family of four boys! The house had beach toys and boogie boards to play with in the ocean that was just outside your door (*bring your own beach towels!). The steam shower and soaker tub were great ways to relax after a long day playing in the waves and soaking up the sun and sand! It’s also just short ten minutes to Sea World and just a few blocks down the beach from shops and food! Thank you for making this vacation one to remember!

We absolutely had an amazing time at this rental…so much in fact that we ended up cooking all of our own meals except one because we did not want to leave. We saw dolphins from the balcony every morning. We can’t wait to return!

My college besties and I meet up once a year and this year we chose San Diego at the beach.
