The house is located on the west end of the island. It could use an update but it is very functional and we enjoyed our stay. The three bedrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out. The beach is a short walk or bike ride away. There are also numerous activities offered through the resort which we enjoyed during our stay.

The owners were absolutely phenomenal at responding to inquiries leading up to our visit. The house was clean and just what we needed. We enjoyed the full kitchen, and appreciated the washer and dryer. The beds were rather firm, which only two of us were not great fans of. We found the beach easily. It was a very enjoyable visit!

Found this house for a wedding we attended. The house was clean and well kept and supplied. The owners were very easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions promptly. It was 600 steps to beach and 300 to pool. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Loved the location, close to pool and beach! House was just the right size for our family, my husband and I with our two daughters and their husbands and their babies. Huge TV for watching the football games, great table for our family game playing and well equipped kitchen! It’s not a huge or fancy house but perfect for our great family vacation! Owners are very responsive to any communication and they provided the information we needed in a timely manner. Attentive to details-all the light switches were labeled-very thoughtful!

The property was on a cul de sac very close to a nice community pool and the beach. Owners/property managers had very good communication. The only downsides were the furnishings of the house needed replacement (stains on bedding, couch and porch furniture), and some of the sliding glass doors were not supposed to be used because they needed replacement.

This Sparrow Pond property is just a short stroll to the community pool and beach. Enjoyed daily bike rides though out the island. Great place for some R&R.

Quiet clean place for the family to explore Kiawah.

This is a perfect home for 1st timers or the frequent Kiawah guest. This is minutes from the beach. Sparrow Pond is walking distance to Inlet Cove or a quick bike ride to the general store. Kids rode bikes all over the island. I’ve been coming to the island since ‘84 and would stay here again.

Everything about Kiawah Island was wonderful. The house was a short walk through a quiet neighborhood to access the beach. The beach itself was one of the best we’ve been to. The owners were very responsive and we had no issues with the house.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We found everything in order and very clean upon our arrival. Kitchen was readily equipped for many meals during our stay. I did want to point out that we expected the walk to beach to be a little closer than it actually was. With 3 teenagers in tow, all able to help carry our beach load, it took us nearly 10 minutes to get to the boardwalk. I would advise a beach wagon or cart for families with younger kids. Not ideal for anyone who needs assistance walking.

The folks were very helpful and kind but the property was a bit disappointing. Need a good pressure wash on the outside and some wood needs replacing on the deck/steps. The inside didn’t smell super clean when we arrived, like it hadn’t been rented out lately. The carpet was stained in places and felt dirty. The tv worked for a few days but then it started shutting off randomly while the kiddos were watching so that was inconvenient and we ended up not turning it back on for at least half the trip. The extra towels were helpful in not having to wash them during the stay. The screened in porch was a wonderful addition to the property since the mosquitos were fierce during our stay. Very close to the pool and beach and everyone was very friendly in the neighborhood.

Owners were quick to respond. Location to beach was great. Love the pool. Kitchen well equiped.

The Sparrow Pond villa and location were perfect for our family! The villa itself was clean and very well equipped, and we enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and the neighborhood pool. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Everything went very well! My family enjoyed the cottage, the beach, the pool, the island and afternoons in Charleston as well. The owners were very quick to respond when I reached out. It was a great place to stay with young children. We would come back.

Really easy rental process and exactly matched the online description.

We had such a great time renting this place the week between Christmas and New Years. We’re from Charleston and we’re in town to see family. This year, we wanted our own “landing pad” so we could get some time alone too. This spot was perfect. The house feels very nice and secluded, like we were in a little tree fort of little own. Check in was super easy ( owners provide code for lock box on the door). If you aren’t used to Kiawah security, getting through the gate could be daunting, but the new system with the QR code pass made things a breeze to get the pass for our stay. The house is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed to cook meals as well. The walk to the beach is very short and easy. If you are going in the summer and have a bunch of stuff, it might not hurt to have a wagon of some sort to move your stuff a around though. The boardwalk goes all the way out to the beach, so you won’t be dragging your stuff through the dunes Iike other beaches. Finally, the owners are very responsive. I had a friend coming out to visit one day at the last minute, and they callled in a pass to the gate for me in a very timely manner. I feel confident if something were to have gone wrong, they would have been there to make things right. Luckily nothing did, and our stay was perfect!

The villa was similar to others we have stayed in while at Kiawah. We prefer the villas because they are spacious and quiet. We also like the proximity to the beach for walking and bike riding, Freshfields and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay in this very clean and extremy well-appointed home! It accommodated our group of five very comfortably. We had to contact the home owner to request a 2nd parking pass and he was extremely attentive and also followed up to make sure there wasn't an issue at the security gatehouse in obtaining the additional pass. We would highly recommend this property.

We really loved this cottage and the location was great. Easy walk to the beach and the Kiawah beach is really wonderful! We rode bikes on the beach down to where the dolphins come out near the tide change and their are experts there to answer questions! The kids really loved that little adventure and since the ride on the beach is flat, it was super easy. The house is great and accommodated our family of four and my husband’s parents came in for the last half of the week. We all fit comfortably in the home. The island town was adorable and we loved the food options! The only reason I am rating a 4 is because the mattresses were just not comfortable. My husband slept on the couch since it was softer than the master bedroom bed. Other than the mattress issue we really love this rental! A great nights sleepy every night would have made this a perfect vacation!!!

The condo was very nice… there was about a block distance to ocean and less to go to pool… I liked how the property was landscaped and the Landscapers did a great job

This was a wonderful property about two blocks from the beach and a block from the pool. It had everything we needed and we absolutely loved the island. We rented bikes which is a must to explore and really fun to ride on the beach! It was well stocked and the grill was great to have when we cooked at home.

This home was well equipped. It was very comfortable and exactly what we needed. Internet works well, no problems with multiple devices. Cable is only local channels with a digital box. The owners were extremely nice and responsive. I would book this condo again.

This was a great location for our first trip to Kiawah Island! We liked that the cabins were nestled among trees, yet it was just a short walk to a quiet beach. Also just a few miles from the grocery story, shops, and restaurants at Freshfields Village. The interior was clean but the exterior needed to be freshened up. Maybe it was not quite ready since we stayed before Memorial Day. We loved having the outdoor shower right next to the entrance but there was a lot of beach equipment, leaves etc. in the stall that needs to be cleaned out. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay! Slept well in the queen bed and there were plentiful fluffy towels!

Could not have asked for a more reasonably priced vacation. Everything was great.

This clean and comfy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo is everything we hoped it would be for a relaxing fun vaca! Close walk to the beautiful ocean! Nice kitchen for preparing a meal, a grill and great deck furniture, and even a spacious screened in porch! Great table spaces for game night! 100% would recommend and will definitely return!
