Love Love Love this property. The owner super easy to speak with and so helpful. The view is beautiful, the home layout was perfect and cozy but roomy. Definitely will be back. 10+stars if I could!!

If your looking for a quiet getaway place place in Tennessee I would highly recommend staying here! You have awesome views of the lake from in the house, or you can walk outside and walk right down to the dock. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You can be in Nashville in 30 minutes to enjoy the bar life and watch bands all night. Our host Randi was amazing to deal with since every thing was so last minute she had us set up and ready to go in a couple hours after booking it. I would most definitely stay here again if I were to ever come back!

My family was really looking forward to our trip to Nashville and our stay on Old Hickory Lake. All of our communication with Randi prior to our trip was very positive. She was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. However, when we arrived at the house on Saturday evening, the house did not meet any of our expectations and did not live up to the pictures posted on VRBO. The exterior parts of the house, the front porch and all of the decks were covered in dirt and debris. None of the furniture was clean and the cushions were dirty and stained. All of the windows and screens were filthy and covered in cobwebs and dead bugs. The interior of the home was not much better, especially during a pandemic when cleanliness should be the number one priority for your guests. Some of the kitchen cabinets had dried food on them, the refrigerator was not cleaned out and some of the drawers had food crumbs and hair in them. The silverware was not clean, and neither were the drinking glasses. The vacuum was left out in the dining room and was not emptied. There were also large cobwebs on each corner of the ceiling above the dining room table. Many of the drawers still had things in them so we did not feel comfortable unpacking our bags and toiletries. The bathroom drawers were dirty and one even had someone's underwear in them. The master bedroom had a blood stain on the pillow. The sliding glass door in one of the downstairs bedrooms was broken and there were a lot of dead bugs all along the corners of the interior of the room. The final straw for us was the linen closet. Most of the linens in the closet were not folded and just balled up and thrown on the shelves. We couldn't tell if these linens had been cleaned or not. We smelled one of the sheets and it clearly was not washed. We reached out to Randi to let her know our disappointment in the cleanliness of the house. She asked us to send her pictures and her response to us the next morning was that it would be best for everyone if we vacated the property. She said that she didn't want our negativity and our standards were too high. She did offer to send cleaning people to the house but we knew that there was far too much to be cleaned in a couple hours. We had to scramble and find a place for our family of 9 to stay for the week at the last minute. This was by far the most disappointing experience we ever had on a vacation.

The views were just amazing, weather didn’t cooperate for us to boat but with a short drive to Nashville we were able to enjoy great music. The house was very spacious and plenty of room for our group. Randi was great communicating during our stay, I would definitely return in the future! Great place to vacation.

Dissappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the property. We had construction workers there 2 of the 3 days during our stay. There was also a problem with the hot water handle in the shower of guest bath.

Can’t say enough great things about Randi and her property! The house is plenty spacious for 7-8 people. More than that you will need to use the provided pullout accommodations. Full kitchen, utensils, and grill. Washer and dryer. But wow that view and access to the lake! Who needs a mask when you’re on the open water :) I would go back without hesitation. Randi was so quick to respond and helped out with anything I needed. Thank you!!

Comfortable, stylish home on water facing west, bringing incredible sunsets each night. Kitchen has everything you could ever need, and the communication with the owner is excellent. Would definitely recommend. Can’t say enough good things.

Randi has been an awsome host and has worked with us in every question we had. Definitely will consider making another trip here and would recommend it to anyone else.

Overall, the stay was great. The hike DOWN to the dock is tough if you are older or have hip issues. And the UBER into downtown Nashville is closer to 30 minutes. Plus add time for the UBER to get to you - sometimes 30+ minutes. Randi was a very attentive owner and the place itself was beautiful.

The owner was pleasant to deal with. The property has very pretty views and worked out well for myself and party of 9. Lake was great and the boat rental was a nice option. Overall it was a good stay!

The decks and stairs leading to the dock felt unsafe for anyone to walk up or down. I struggled to find linens for all of the advertised beds and what I found were rumpled in a ball and mismatched. The shower liner in the master bath was very moldy and unable to shower comfortably. All decks and doorways had to be swept and cleared of debri, bugs and spiders before we could sit outside. The photos make it seem like there is a back lawn sloping toward the water when in fact it was covered with blackberry vines and unuseable. One of the windows in the main living area had a broken latch leading to a potentially treacherous fall a few stories down. We were trying as a family to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday and I cried when we arrived at this house. We ended up moving to a Hotel. Just not the best fit for our family.

Had an amazing time at this property. Randi was a gracious host and has done an excellent job making this place feel special. The location, from the lake anyway, is in the main channel and close to everything. We didn’t venture out the front door at all, but the lake life out the back was amazing. Very comfortable house with all the amenities. Can’t wait to stay again!

The views were amazing overlooking the lake. Check-in was easy. Property owner was easy to work with. I felt the property needed a bit of TLC. Entered by way of garage which needed a cleanup. Walked down the many stairs to the dock and found chase lounge with huge holes in it. Mold was around the edges of master bath and there was a musty smell in the downstairs bedrooms. Overall the property is lovely but a few things could definitely be improved on.

We stayed in Randi’s house over the weekend for a bachelorette party. We were hoping for a partial lake weekend and partial downtown Nashville experience, and we got just what we wanted! The house and the view were spectacular. Enough room to fit 9-10 girls comfortably. A true 20 min from the airport and ~30 minute Uber to Broadway with traffic ($20 for Uber x). Randi was quick to respond with any question I asked- was a wonderful host. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a fabulous host with a home of breathtaking windows and much comfort. We really liked the layout of the house. The master bedroom is spacious with deck and lake views. Randi was so easy to get a hold of during our stay and helpful with any questions. The stunning view welcomes you as you enter this house and the house provides all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the neighborhood - saw lots of deer and enjoyed our daily walks. It is an easy drive into Nashville and to the airport. We had a great time celebrating our daughter's 30th birthday there. Randi even helped us with a contact for boat rental where the boat was brought and picked up from the dock for us. It was a great and memorable week. Highly recommend staying here!

Very nice lake home. Great views and enjoyed the lake swimming. Convenient to everything we needed. And short 20 min drive to Nashville excitement! Owner was prompt, fair, and great communicator.

The property is a 2 mile drive through an uphill sharp winding curving road. You're about 35 minutes from Nashville. The property would be gorgeous but needs a massive clean up. There is so much debris, leaves, spider webs, dirt across the entire property making it difficult to enjoy the outdoors or the walk down to the river. The dock was full of nasty bugs making it impossible to walk on the dock without stepping on bugs. The inside of the home was clean, overall, it is very spacious but there was a lack of supplies. We had 5 towels for 6 guests to use, there was no hand soap in either bathroom, the containers were not filled up. There was no extra toilet paper or paper towels. We arrived around 2:45pm hoping we could check in 15 minutes early but the cleaning lady came running over across the street saying she hadn't cleaned the home yet. We were unable to check in until 3:45pm, 45 minutes past the check in time. The home was very warm and the owner was controlling the AC, which made it difficult to be comfortable in the home when the AC was being controlled by someone not actually in the home. The last night we were in the home, we were playing a board game when we saw three people fishing on our dock. In order to get down and up to the dock you needed to go through the screened in porch. This was a very unsettling feeling as the screened in porch does not lock and strangers are down on our dock at a home we are paying to stay at. Just overall, a disappointing trip. The home fit what we needed, a place to sleep/stay but it was not at all comfortable. I would have preferred to stay at a hotel, that was clean, climate controlled, and had the necessary supplies to have a comfortable stay. This was our first time through VRBO, hopefully our next VRBO adventure will not cause these issues/concerns.

Nice house! Love the size of the family room area. Plenty of space for our family to all eat at the table and play games in the evening. Easy drive to Nashville which we did a few times but really enjoyed relaxing out in the water most of the trip.

Beautiful lake house with plenty of space and sleeping spots for large groups. Great view of the lake and boats, especially in the evening, and plenty of space on the rear tiered balconies. Our group had a great time down at the dock and in the lake with the inflatables that are provided. House is a 25 minute uber drive from downtown, making it the best of both worlds to take advantage of downtown Nashville and the privacy of the lake house. Randi did a great job communicating with us during our stay with any questions that came up. Our group had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

The property was very nice. It may need sprayed for bugs couldn’t go outside the doors from rooms or basement because their were too many spiders. It was 30 min Uber from downtown broadway Nashville. It was a very nice house the owner was easy to get a hold of and accommodating. The house gets warm in the middle of day. It cooled off once the sun went down but does get warm during the day granted it was in the 90s. Beautiful home and location. The views were gorgeous even saw some deer.
