Perfetto per attività di ricerca e sviluppo o lago a livello costante Lago Austin. 100 piedi di lungolago e un prato in leggera pendenza con alberi di noci pecan di 50 anni piantati da nostro nonno, dock per la tua barca da sci / pesca con rampa pubblica a 1 isolato di distanza, usa i nostri 2 single e doppio kayak e giubbotti di salvataggio per esplorare la fauna selvatica ( Balcones Canyonlands Preserve) attraverso il lago. Tanto spazio per le riunioni di più famiglie. La cucina è completamente fornita e pronta per la preparazione dei pasti durante le vacanze e la pulizia è facile con la lavastoviglie!
C'è un sacco di spazio all'aperto, griglia e fumatore in ghisa per cucinare in famiglia, amache per rilassarsi, darsena, kayak, fossa a ferro di cavallo e grandi posti a sedere nel patio con Firepit !! All'interno c'è un meraviglioso camino con molta legna da ardere inclusa. Anche il Lake Austin Spa Resort è raggiungibile a piedi!
L'unica cosa che chiediamo è che il rumore sia mantenuto basso dopo le 22:00. Amiamo i nostri vicini e vogliamo che anche loro amino te !!

Absolutely a perfect place for family and friends to gather rest under the gorgeous pecan trees and relax on the lake. We only left to get groceries once you check in kick off your shoes and soak the beauty of the scenery. The deer running around give an added bonus!

This property was a great fit for our group, in a great location, and Ann was a great host. She was excellent at communicating, responding to questions/requests, and doing her best to address any questions we had. Being lakefront on Lake Austin doesn't get any better. Would definitely stay again!

Plenty of beds and space for a large group. The backyard is great for outdoor lawn games and activities in the river.

If you love Lake Austin like we do then you're willing to overlook a lot for location, location, location. :) The house itself is super dated and not for someone who needs the newest and best.. but if you want prime location then that's what you're paying for. The house manager was friendly and helpful with the couple of questions I had and the neighbors were very sweet.. honestly it had everything we needed and even more (cornhole, floats, blenders, spices, etc..)

Awesome location, but definitely rustic
As advertised, the land and view are beautifully serene. The lawn, shaded by tall pecan trees, gently slopes down to the lake, with the view looking across to the Balconies Canyonland Preserve. The shade and the breeze (and the water!) make for a very comfortable setting even in the 100 degree heat of the Austin summer. The house itself, however, is more of a camp than a retreat. "Rustic" in this case means unkept. It does not appear to have been upgraded since the 80's with respect to infrastructure (lighting, electrical, a/c, windows, weatherproofing), as well as furniture, beds, and kitchen. The place also struggles with keeping clean. Cobwebs, dust, and insects were a constant. The driveway is need of repair at the street...my car hit bottom a couple of times. That being said, we've stayed here the past two years for extended stays. We overlooked the subpar housing issues because we wanted easy access to the lake and a relaxing, inexpensive escape for our family. So, if that's your goal, this is definitely the place. If you want luxury, Austin Day Spa is down the street.

This is our second time staying here. The property is in a great location on the lake, lots of trees for shade. Nice yard for kids to play.

COVID relief
First time visiting my son and his family in over a year, we booked this property for a much needed getaway. House is older, cozy and furnished like a family vacation house, not fancy but comfortable. The setting is spectacular, gazing out across Lake Austin to beautiful unspoiled forest. The boys enjoyed picking up pecans from the ground, kayaking, fishing (no fish were caught), making smores in the firepit and playing games. A wonderful respite!

Lake House
This house is a great place to bring your family for a summer vacation...
We were able to tie up our boat and jet skis overnight. There’s a neighborhood boat ramp just a couple football fields away and it only took about 20 minutes to get to ski shores. Water was glassy in the morning and the view from the house is awesome.
We will definitely be back!

Lake getaway
The property here is beautiful and ideal setting. Quiet lake great relaxing. Would have like to know that there is not central air just AC units. It was plenty cool though. Older home but clean and lots of room

A wonderful and special place to create sweet memories! The house was extremely clean! The yard was awesome to enjoy hanging out on Lake Austin. My family and our dogs LOVED it!!! Could not beat it ! Truly, a very special place! We would definitely love to return!!!

Great for family vacation
This is our fourth time renting this house and we love it. The yard and the trees are wonderful, which is where we spend most of our time. Our only suggestion would be to pave the road all the way to the house, the sand right by the entry door is pretty messy.

Good times
Awesome land and lake access. Our group enjoyed kayaking and yard games provided by the owner. The kayaks had small leaks but we covered them with duct tape and they worked great. The interior of the house felt more like a camp and could use some new finishes, but it is spacious and has plenty of beds. Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Lake House!
We spent a week on this beautiful Lake Austin property. It’s a perfect lakefront backyard setup with the fire pit including room for a nice game of kids whiffle ball. The property caretaker, Ken and manager, Ann, were awesome to deal with. We will be back.

Outside Wonderful
We, kids and adults had a great time. Yard easy to get to lake and dock. Kitchen well equipped. Played games, played in yard, played in water. Fun was had by all. Grilled out every night on real nice grill. Loved it. Thanks so much.

Great Family Celebration Weekend!
This home is perfect for family! We had everyone all together and enjoying this wonderful home. We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time here.
This house is equipped with plenty of items for everything you need including hair dryers, curling irons etc. The kitchen is a tad small but has a lot of items you might for entertaining family.
The outdoors is where you will be anyway and it is simply beautiful and I look forward to staying there again!

Great place for large family
Was in town for our daughter’s graduation from culinary school. This house accommodated our entire family and was so perfect for after graduation celebration. The house manager and caretaker were very genuine and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this house to all our family and friends.

comfy house and great location
My grand children really enjoyed swimming in the lake and playing on the 'floating' island. We also enjoyed the kayaks and hammock. Everything at the house was just as you said it would be and we felt right at home; it was very comfortable and met our needs completely. It was a great getaway; even though it rained some, we still had a great time. We will be returning next year. Thanks for sharing this little piece of heaven with us!

Very relaxing weekend. Great location. Kept the teenagers busy.
We spent 3 nights June, 2017. We came for a family reunion with ages 2 to 80+. Just a couple of tiny steps so everyone could get to downstairs bathroom, bedrooms, living areas and the shore with little trouble. Teenagers spent hours fishing, kayaking, swimming, hitting golf balls and floating on the water mat. House is very basic but just fine for us. We did encounter a large snake in screened in porch, but we had left door open.

Relaxing get away!!
Family reunion with ages from 8-80; everyone stayed entertained for 5 days. Everything to be comfortable was there. Loved it :-)

We have a large group and this property worked out amazing for us. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Each room has a window unit that cools the house very well. The sun porch is a wonderful place to eat, play games and enjoy the beautiful view. Our group enjoyed the kayaks and the yard and all the games that were made available for us. I would definitely recommend this property and plan on renting it again!

My only negative comment would be that the dirt driveway isn't noticeable on the HomeAway page; we had terrible rain a couple of days and it made things quite messy. Owner VERY responsive though and certainly always appreciate great communication.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. The view is fantastic, the house sleeps 10+, and there is a boat dock to tie your boat up to. Not to mention the actual boat ramp is a 1 minute drive from the house. They even provided us with a huge bucket of golf balls, golf clubs, and a mat to hit into the lake. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and bars near the house as well. The owners provided great customer service, and the house was very clean and maintained very well. Could not have asked for a better time. Highly recommend this to all my friends and relatives.

We had a lovely stay at the lake house in Austin. It felt like home as we were married in front of the fireplace with Judge Jan and a small gathering of friends and family. It was relaxing and we really enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Austin. Even the dogs had a great time!

This house was perfect for our situation. We went on a bachelor party with 12 friends and the house had very effective air conditioning to withstand the 97 degree heat. They provided us disposable golf balls to hit in the lake. The floating tanning deck couldn't be any cooler. The house is much larger than the pictures make it seem. If you need an affordable river house to sleep a large party, this is it! Will stay there again if we visit Austin in the future.

We just got back yesterday, and none of us could think of anything we would change. The floating dock was wonderful, for adults and kids. It's an older home, but I liked that aspect. It just made us that more comfortable being there. The yard is beautiful with lots of shade trees. It did rain a little, so the driveway was a little slippery at the bottom (not paved). This might turn into an annual event for our family.

Our family met at this lake home on Lake Austin to celebrate Christmas together and ring in 2015! It was the perfect spot for us! Accommodations both inside & outside were just what we needed. Thanks for sharing your home!

My husband and I brought 9 teenage kids and a dog for an amazing riverside vacation. The house has every amenity, and is built so solidly that it was quiet in our room while the kids stayed up and played games and enjoyed themselves. We commandeered the largest downstairs bedroom, even though it has many beds, and gave the kids the other 3. Plenty of space for all. The manager, Ann, was helpful and available through the whole process. Be aware of the picky neighbor...they really do watch to see that you're not ever on their property. No problem, though, because there is plenty to do and plenty of room.
Excellent vacation. We would love to do it all again.

Reserved this location for the proximity to the water, size of the house, and the amount of grass space in the back yard. This weekend happened to be my 40th BDay weekend too!
The house is VERY spacious. The pictures don't show how much room there is. We had 15 adults and everyone slept great and room to move around inside. Even with the hot temperatures outside, the AC inside was more than adequate to keep everyone cool. I would recommend future guests to plan on bringing inflatables for the water. Things that would provide entertainment on the water.
If I'm ever in the Austin area again for a long weekend, I would stay at this house again. Thank you!
