I loved the location and the house has great design and features. Our whole family loved our time here. It is perfectly located to visit the coast and the forests.

Fantastic mid-century home that has been maintained extremely well. Zero disappointments, the home had everything we could possibly want and the views were incredible! Highly recommend!

We knew that there would be a likelihood of rain for a November stay. But we had plenty of opportunities to be on the beaches and a hike in the Redwoods during our three night stay. Beautiful view right from the house. We all enjoyed our stay.

Three retired old guys up for a fishing trip. We found the property very comfortable and well appointed. A fantastic view of the ocean was just the ticket for us. We wished we could have stayed a little longer.

This place had everything we needed. Games, bikes, and a yard in back were a bonus. Easy to use BBQ, and Terrific sunsets if you are lucky to catch them. Short walk to the beach steps. We hope to be able to stay here again!

We have booked this property several times and are planning our next trip back! The view is absolutely good for the soul. It doesn't really matter the weather. We watched a fog bank roll in that was so thick that houses down the street were obscured from view, but we could still see the ocean. Then the fog lifted. It was just amazing to watch. One can watch the waves out at sea while doing the dishes. It's spectacular. We love the extra tables. We use the game table for Rummykub and another for doing puzzles, while leaving the dining table still free at which to eat! Frank and Paula are excellent hosts. I can't say enough good things. We will be back!

This Crescent City house was absolutely perfect for our stay! The location right across from the beach was wonderful! The views are amazing, and we watched the sunset from the fire table chairs in the front yard. There is access to the beach right across the road and we were able to go explore easily. The house is also located close to town, so stores and restaurants are easily accessible. It was a convenient location for us to explore some trails in the redwoods and the Samuel Boardman corridor. Both beautiful areas! The house itself is beautiful and stocked with anything and everything you need to make meals, do laundry, or have some fun outside (bikes, boogie boards, corn hole etc). There is also a "library area", shelves filled with so many books. The house is very clean and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a well maintained house. The owner was very responsive and friendly. The views were amazing; great location for strolls on the beach. If you like seafood this area has it all.

Perfect low-key way to enjoy each other and nature. We cooked, played games, beach combed, hiked the redwoods, and relaxed. The kitchen is well stocked. We wanted for nothing.

My kids (5 kids ages 6-19) wanted us to buy the house! We had a great time, found everything we needed in the house and Crescent City between exploring the redwoods. Highly recommend!

It’s difficult to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay in this marvelous house; having the perfect location and stunning view. The house was incredibly welcoming with soft comfortable chairs sitting in front of massive living room windows, blankets and towels were in abundance, and soft linens on the beds greeted us each evening. From sitting in the living room enjoying spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean to taking a short drive to the magnificent Redwoods, this property had it all. The host anticipated every need and provided all the extras that made our stay extraordinary. We highly recommend this property and hope to be booking it again soon.

This property is our new favorite. Six adults and two children, (3 yrs and 6 months) and the house was perfect. All adults slept in beds and the children slept in PacNPlays, one of which was at the house. There was also a baby activity center/chair combination that was SO helpful for the 6 month old that my daughter decided she needs one. Our stay was in early April, so we had several rainy days, but the view from the living room, dining room and kitchen, looking right out at the Pacific, made it feel like we were at the beach every day. We utilized the vintage game table for RummyKub and Tri-ominoes and another rectangular side table for puzzles we had brought, which left room at the generous dining table for all of us at meals. In short, we didn't want to leave ...and will definitely be back. Paula was a very responsive host, and everything we needed was there. Absolute bliss.

I absolutely love this home. It is well cared for and the host goes above and beyond. The views are lovely and location is perfect for visiting family in the area. Plus it is such a comfortable, cozy home to be in. The highlight of our stay was sitting at the windows watching the world go by.

A last minute trip to visit family in the hospital, spent one night at a hotel and needed something cleaner, nicer, more comfortable when we found this home and it was available. Paula even got us in the day I contacted her. We’ve stayed in Crescent City many times at many rentals and this is by far our favorite place. Just homey and comfortable with a great mid century modern vibe. Hope to be able to stay again on our next trip.

Extremely clean, but not fussy. Fun mid-century architecture with all the modern comforts. Including thoughtful touches like a USB compatible outlet at every nightstand and in the living room. The beds were cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of wine sitting by the fire pit while we watched the sunset on our first night there, and the second night we cooked a delicious meal in the well appointed kitchen and played a game that we found in the well stocked games cabinet. I wish we had longer to stay and enjoy this beautiful home.

This was such a great property! The whole place was spotless and smelled nice, the beds and pillows were super comfy, the house overall was just so attractive and felt welcoming. Loved going across the street every morning to spend time walking the beach. We would most definitely stay here again and totally recommend it!

Great location. Everything about the home was top notch. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach every morning. Also very close to Jedediah Smith and the redwoods.

This house is in a great location if you are wishing to enjoy the coast. It is right across from a path going down to pebble beach. The kids enjoyed taking the boogie boards in the garage down to the ocean. Views are amazing from the house if you just want to stare at the ocean and enjoy a sunset. And good location for enjoying the Redwoods. The house was very comfortable for us and my kids enjoyed playing with the Legos when we had a little downtime.

This house was AMAZING! Pictures and description do not do it justice. Tons of games and toys for both inside and out. Kids of all ages can find something. LOVED the binoculars provided. The Bluetooth enabled speaker system was great for our Friday night dance party (with the 5 year old 😉). Tons of brochures and menus for local places. A bench right across the street for viewing the ocean, and sunset. It was perfect for the 14yr old to get away but still be in our view. Stairs down to the beach is only about a football field away (maybe 2). These hosts have thought of EVERYTHING!! The only thing we missed out on was the fire pit in front. Unfortunately the propane tank was empty. But I still enjoyed the chairs for my daily reading time. Thank you!!! I’m sure we will visit again.

This was the perfect place to spend a couple of relaxing days exploring crescent city and the surrounding redwood forests. The location is spectacular! We saw two gorgeous sunsets :) The house itself is very clean, which is always refreshing! Loved our time here!

This home was perfect for our Redwoods visit with young children. It was nearly fully stocked, comfy beds, great views of the ocean and great location. I dont know if the Redwoods really could have been closer, but my kids are very inpatient, so we really appreciated the short drive to Stout Grove and Grove of the Titans. The house has panoramic views of Pebble Beach which was great because with kids we are always home more than we prefer to be, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the ocean from inside. They had lots of games that my kids enjoyed (Battleship, checkers, and Uno were favorites, but there was litterally a large cabinet full of games for all ages). Large internet TV hookup in the living room kept the kids busy as well. Lots of towels and dishes. Comfy beds. Best stocked kitchen i have ever seen at a rental place. Very clean. We combed Pebble Beach at low tide and found some agates which was fun. Also Crescent Beach is just a couple miles up the road and was goldmine for samd dollars at low tide. This was a great house and great location for our Redwood visit with young children!

We loved the house and its location. The house had a Frank Lloyd Wright feel to it. There were many attractions locally and within a 1/2 hour drive. Great nightly view of the sunset. Overall a very nice stay and we would rent again.

The house was great! The owners had it very well stocked and pretty clean. The natural lighting was great! Lots of space in the home. The kitchen has the cooking supplies you need if you want to cook, but if you don't... The Apple Peddler has great good and friendly service, as does Perlita's Mexican restaruant! Being right across from one of the beaches was amazing. Loved the sights and sounds of it all. The coast there is breathtaking, especially on a sunny day. I highly recommend staying here!! If you do, you should swing by Crescent City Beach to look for sand dollars, hike down to Enderts Beach during low tide to explore the tide pools, and Stout Grove Memorial trail in the Jedediah Smith Redwood park was amazing as well. Thank you Paula and Frank. This was our first time on the western coast/Northern California and we loved every minute of it.
