Beautiful Timber-Frame Cottage - Canandaigua Lake
Venite a godervi questo bellissimo cottage con struttura in legno nella tranquilla, strada senza uscita, South Lake Road. La proprietà si trova a circa 2 ettari su South Hill. Ci sono splendide viste sul Lago Canandaigua dal soffitto a volta Great Room e viste davvero spettacolari dal balcone "Sopracciglio" sopra la porta d'ingresso.
La cucina è completamente attrezzata ed è aperta alla grande sala e sala da pranzo. La grande sala ha una splendida struttura in legno, un camino in pietra e divani perfetti per fare un pisolino o godersi la vista sul lago. C'è una veranda riparata fuori dalla grande sala per godersi i tramonti sul lago mentre si cena. Completano il livello principale una camera da letto matrimoniale e un bagno (vista sul lago ovviamente), una tana / camera da letto, un bagno completo e una stanza di fango. Al piano inferiore ci sono altre due camere da letto; una con 2 letti a castello e l'altra con un letto matrimoniale - entrambe le camere hanno vista sul lago. My family and I had a great week at this very comfortable and well appointed lake home. Beautiful views, spacious rooms and living areas for all to congregate or have quiet relaxing times. The lake front can also accommodate the entire family for seating and a campfire. The owner is responsive and very helpful.

Beautiful views of the lake from every room. Well equipped kitchen though we only did breakfast and snacks at the house. Great restaurant choices, but you do have to drive a bit. Fun having direct access to the water and use of 2 kayaks and a stand up paddle board. The ping pong & pool tables were a big hit with the teenagers and their dad. Be aware that no towels or wash cloths are provided for the bathrooms. All bed linens and kitchen towels ARE provided. Current listing indicates additional futon as a sleep space in loft area, but there was no futon in loft the week we were there, June 2024. Overall, a beautiful spot with lots to do or just relax in the beauty of the setting. We enjoyed Watkins Glen State Park, Letchworth State park, mini-golf in Penn Yan and the lake setting.

A group 7 adults, a mix of singles and couples, stayed at this lovely home for a long weekend. We have a friend who lives a short distance away, so the location was just where we needed it. Being lakefront was a super plus. We had enough space to be together for meals and such, but also enough to spread out if folks needed a little alone time. Being able to cross the street and go right down to the water was so nice! It was a bit too cold and windy to make use of all of the outdoor amenities like the fire pit, but we hope that we’ll have better luck with that on future visits…we’ll be back!!

One of the things we enjoyed about this property was that it was "lived in". This was a place that had been built for the owners and did not have that sterile feel that homes that are purchased as rental investments can have. We really enjoyed that homey aspect of the property. It was everything we had hoped for. Only delight, no disappointments. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

House was very well stocked with amenities such as dishes, grills (including gas and charcoal) and even firewood. Beautiful view overlooking the lake with a nice permanent dock. The house is located across the street from the lake on a little traveled road. Having small children, it felt safer than being right on the water. We brought our boat and kept it at the dock all week and there was a boat launch just down the street. The beach there has rocky bottom so bring water shoes, but our kids had a blast! They allow pets and we had our 14 year old family dog with us which was great.

Fantastic peaceful views
We loved this property. Views of the lake from living area as well as screened in porch were magnificent. The area was quiet and great for walks. Dock was exceptional for hanging out and enjoying the lake. Owner was very accommodating and he was responsive to the few questions we had.

Wonderful stay!
We spent a Thanksgiving with three generations at Mark's stunning house. Everything was perfect, comfortable space, well-stocked kitchen and beautiful views. Mark's communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Mark!

Peaceful Stay in the Finger Lakes
This is one of the most impressive properties we've stayed at on the lake. The views of the lake from the house perched on the hill is simply stunning and its hard to find such tranquility and privacy on the lake today. We stayed at Mark's place for a week to have a mini family reunion and had a wonderful time together due in large part to the great accommodations of Mark's place. The kitchen was supremely well stocked and we found everything we needed to cook up many great meals. The open space of the family room, dinner table, and kitchen provided ample room for all of us to mingle and listen to music on the great speaker system set up in the family room all while looking out at the very impressive view of the lake. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Mark's place who is looking to enjoy a tranquil and quiet time on the lake.

The property has all the things we were looking for. Views, comfort, and activities we wanted. There were great spaces for relaxation to enjoy the magnificent views as well as read or nap if desired. We enjoyed the waterfront for viewing the lake as well as a great campfire during the evening. We will return again.

This was the second time we were here. We love ‘this place. It is quite and yet it’s not that far to wineries. There is easy access to the lake and you are on a dead end road. For us it is perfect.

The pantry and kitchen were fully stocked which was great because we love to cook and entertain! Steps from the water , large dock for relaxing and swimming. Great for family , lots of toys , board games and more ! We are already considering rebooking for next year !

Beautiful home in a great location!
Evergreen was an amazing house for a family vacation! The house is beautifully designed and well-stocked with everything you need for a relaxing time full of fun on the lake, good eats made in a cook’s kitchen and multiple spots for a quiet moment with a cup of coffee, good book or yoga mat. We loved it!

Great Lakehouse
The house is very well-built, big, and comfortable, with tons of supplies and extras for guests to use. The great room is beautiful, with lots of light and lake views. The "eybrow" porch is the perfect place to take your morning coffee. The private waterfront is fantastic, with easy swimming, kayaking, boating access. S'mores at the bonfire pit on the beach became a nightly ritual. Mark is very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The dock is just a couple steps away and was setup with two kayaks and a row boat. A refrigerator and lake side fire pit for your convenience. Gliding chairs and a beautiful view, what more could you ask for?!

Spectacular Stay!
Mark's home on Canandaigua lake is nothing short of spectacular. The indoor spaces are perfect for gathering and fun times with friends and family. Down by the water there is a complete set up for hanging out right on the lake-- replete with kayaks, a rowboat, and a beautiful dock for watching the sunset. Would highly recommend this beautiful space for a getaway of any length!

This is a modern house with all of the amenities. They even provided a chess board for endless hours of play. Fishing was slow do to the time of the year but still landed a 2 pound, a 3 pound and many 1 pound small mouth bass. Those are fish that you can be pleased with. The owners communication ws wonderful and made our stay a breeze.
