Perfect location; easy to get to hikes or shopping in North Conway. House was even more beautiful than the pictures! Would definitely stay again!

This property is a gem of a place to stay. Linda and her caretaker provided a seamless check-in process and tons of helpful suggestions for activities. The property is immaculate and has all the modern amenities one could need. All this in a rustic log cabin type setting with an incredible layout with many common areas for group activities and other areas offering solitude and privacy. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Looking forward to staying here again!

Linda’s home is a spacious and beautiful place right on the lovely Saco River. The attention to detail and abundance of amenities is top notch. Due to the high water levels this year we opted to book our trips on the river with the owners of On the Saco Family campground to ensure we remained safe and they were phenomenal just like Linda recommended! During normal conditions we probably would never have have left and just accessed the river from the backyard. The outdoor games and fire pit and the indoor games and movie room filled our days and nights with lots of family fun. We hope to come back again soon!

The house and property are absolutely gorgeous. We loved the swings around fire pit. The river was high due to the recent rain however Linda was very helpful with suggesting a lake nearby that was beautiful and relaxing. There are also many hiking trails close as well. We had an amazing family vacation.

Less than an hour from Portland, Linda's house is a fantastic retreat from the hustle and bustle. Surounded by trees and direct access to the river provides privacy and plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. The backyard had playground, ping pong table, tree fort, and the best fire pit we have ever seen. The house was clean, well maintained and provided plenty of space for our group of 7. While the water levels due to rain prevented us from kayaking on the river, we were only a few minutes drive the various lakes and ponds. I would highly recommend Linda's home if your looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors.

House was Fantastic inside and out! Only downfall was the terrible weather and river flooding bringing massive amounts of flies and mosquitoes which kept us inside most the trip. If not for the fantastic house on the inside we would have abandoned the whole trip.

The photos don’t do this rental justice! The whole place is thoughtfully laid out and appointed and is absolutely spotless (the many wood surfaces actually gleamed). My spouse and I stayed in the smaller upstairs room and the bed was SO comfortable. Our parents were pleased with their beds as well. The bunk rooms are adorable, however the beds are a bit short (I think they’d work best for kids and tweens under 5 ft). Our teens stayed in the two lofts and loved them (the ladders might look a bit rickety, but they’re actually very sturdy - even Grandma braved climbing them to peek at the lofts). All three showers are low-entry - perfect for those with balance issues. The whole house is air conditioned and each bedroom also has a fan. There’s a second refrigerator in the basement - great if your crew, like ours, eats a lot. There are nice additions for those with babies and small kids (baby gates, pack’n’plays, high chair, and play kitchen in the basement to name a few). Speaking of the basement, the pool table, air hockey table, arcade game, and star ceiling were all big hits. Plenty of board games and dvds too, in case you encounter a few rainy days like we did. The swing-surrounded fire pit is another highlight - each swing even has oversized cup holders that easily held my 32 oz water bottle that never fits in cup holders)! Our host was quick to answer questions and the caretaker was quick to address any issues that arose. Truly a fantastic rental!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linda's riverfront property. So much care and thought went into designing the home and yard for the comfort of all ages. Our group was comprised of four adults, one toddler, and one infant. We stayed over a rainy June weekend, but there was still so much to keep us busy. When we discovered the air hockey table wasn't working, the caretaker promptly showed up to fix it to the delight of our almost 4yo. We loved the fire pit and swings when the rain paused. Even the drink holders on the swing were a nice touch. Beds were very comfy, too. Thanks for a great stay!

We came to the house for winter break with 5 adults and 4 kids all under the age of 8. We found the property was one of the few that were actually nicer than the listing had us thinking. It’s a true gem and really well equipped for entertaining kids and enjoying a nice evening in by the fire after skiing at one of the many mountains to choose from nearby. Communication was great and we will most definitely consider staying here again if we return to the area. Thanks!

We have stayed here many times and always have the best time. Luxury mixed with a homey feel. We love this treasure and can say enough wonderful things about it. Always clean, nothing is worn out, everything in top condition. And SNOW! We were so lucky to have snow. The caretaker made sure the driveway and stairs were clear. Just the perfect long weekend get away. Can’t wait to get the calendar out and plan another trip here. Phenomenal!

Linda is such a welcoming host. The home is exquisite and far nicer than the pictures in VRBO. All the amenities and the location is amazing. This home was the perfect gift for the grandkids and our memories. Thank you Linda for the details your family has put into this wonderful home. Thank you to the hosts, Linda and Gary for letting us stay at the wonderful house during this magical time that is Christmas! This place is so enchanting. We had a blast hanging around the fire pit while the sun set. we can feel the warmth in the house, everything was well thought out! we felt so welcome. Special thanks to David who had prepared our late night arrival and came back in the morning to show us the house. Special mention to the cleanliness of the house. From all the houses we've rented, which is quite a few, this is by far the cleanest. This was the perfect house for our little Christmas Getaway! Thanks again for everything :)

We rented this home last December hoping our adult kids could join us, but life got in the way and it was just the two of us. Well....you might think the place was to big and we would just rattle around, but the exact opposite was true. Between the home itself, amenities, game room, and grand features along with the wonderful and fun grounds and Saco River on property there was always something to do, see, experience. It was, in a word "perfect".

Its our second time and hopefully there will be more sooner than later... its beautiful, comfortable, convenient and perfect get away spot.

Location just 30 minutes from Conway and super quiet countryside on Saco river. . Best of both worlds.

We had a delightful time. The river is crystal clear, the cabin is beautiful. The whole family loved it. We would definitely stay again.

This was a gorgeous cabin with a spacious floor plan, beautiful woodwork, and a fascinating variety of forest -themed decor. And the finished basement is equipped with a full bathroom with shower, and games for entertaining the younger family members.

Awesome house, awesome location. A great time was had by all! Proximity to the river is a great feature as well as the inviting back yard with the lights, swings and firepit. We will be back!

Our stay at this riverside cottage set on 3 private acres was amazing! The house is absolutely beautiful inside. It’s very spacious, well equipped and spotless. The kitchen is perfect for preparing large meals with a great collection of pots, pans and dishes. The downstairs game room with pool table, air hockey and video games was an added bonus. We enjoyed a few fires in the huge backyard fire pit with swings. We launched our kayaks from the dock and paddled across the river to a sandbar where we enjoyed swimming all afternoon. Linda, the owner and David, the caretaker were quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely rent again.

This was our second year spending the week at this lovely home. Our family now includes two adult children with life partners and a teenager and this home offers plenty of space to be both together as a group and apart for quiet time.

Been staying at various VRBO properties in ME for awhile and this was by far the most beautiful home we've ever stayed in. Everyone had a fantastic time and the swings around the fireplace was a great addition and hit with everyone.

So I'm also a Vrbo host, and this place and host are GREAT! House was very clean, and better than the listing. This was my family's first trip to Maine, and Linda was so helpful ahead of time, which was really appreciated as we had a last minute booking. The outside was amazing...the hosts thought of everything inside and out. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We have been here twice and look forward to now as an annual trip.

Cant say enough about how wonderful our stay was. This home has all the comforts you could want with plenty to do inside and out regardless of the seasons. And the home itself is amazing, the attention to details in the structure and furnishings couldn't be better. and as we had a toddler the home is very child friendly with toys, games and even cribs...

Gorgeous house. Accommodations were fantastic. Lots of space and room for a crowd. We left a day early due to a huge storm coming in on the day we were suppose to leave. The owner Linda called me and offered me to stay an extra night for free so we wouldn’t have to travel during the storm. This is a classy act and I will be staying here again. Wayne & Tonia Lagasse

This was an amazing property. Our oldest daughter and her husband are military so we met at Linda’s cottage to have our Christmas. This was truly a magical winter wonderland. Our grandkids enjoyed sledding in the backyard and there was plenty of room. The movie /game room was a huge hit. Thank you Linda for sharing your cottage with our family! You made our Christmas the best one yet!

Our family spent the weekend in Brownfield when our son was getting married in Fryeburg. The house is great, just as described, comfortable and well equipped. There is an amazing finished basement that our grandchildren were extremely excited about - they cried when we departed. House is spacious as well as cozy, well furnished with a very cheery fall-winter feeling. The post and beam construction of the house is very attractive. Linda was patient as I asked her several questions before our arrival. Overall a great property!
