Unit was true to the listing. Extended family stayed for a long weekend over President's week. The unit was clean and comfortable for 5 adults and 3 kids (albeit a bit dated). The location was great and conveniently located near main street and the slopes.

This condo was in a great location and the skiers in our family could walk to the mountain. The condo was spacious and check in was very easy and communication with the owner was very easy! We had a great time!

the location and condition of the condo were fantastic. the accommodations and amenities were great. however there was no information on how to contact the agent/owner. the instructions on how to enter the unit were missing one very critical piece of information. we had to go to the Stratton Welcome Center to pick up the key cards. there was no mention of that. we were instructed to use a lockbox which was inoperable. if we did not run into a tenant, we would never have known how to or be able get in. when we arrived at the welcome center it was closed and the other couple directed us to an adjacent hotel to get the keys there.

We visited Stratton and enjoyed our stay at Adithya's very large condo. We would 100% stay here again—in fact my kids all requested that we stay here again next ski trip! The kids got to enjoy their ski vacation with their grandparents and we all had plenty of room. Adithya was very prompt to respond to any questions or concerns while we were there. Only downside of the location is if the elevator goes out there is no service elevator, which may be something to be aware of if you are not physically able to take the stairs.

Stayed at this condo with 2 other couples for our annual ski trip. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the village & lifts. Very nicely decorated with a fully stocked kitchen. The owner is very responsive to any questions or issues. Heated underground parking is a huge plus as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a great time. Condo is short walk to the village and to ski lifts. Well equipped to cook and close walk to the village. We had great conditions and snow for skiing, snowshoeing and sledding.

This was our first time skiing Stratton. Our two families had plenty of room to spread out for playing games, watching movies, cooking and sleeping. The building access makes it very easy to go back and forth from the condo to the village, lodge and slopes. The unit was very clean and well equipped (including reliable WiFi). Would look to book this unit again next year!

Rising Bear is a great condo location for easy access to the slopes at Stratton, with underground parking garage and shuttle/easy walk to the mountain.

Beautiful Location!
Our family had a wonderful time staying here over the 4th of July weekend. The condo is very large, with two levels and plenty of space to spread out. The mountain views are gorgeous (wake up for the sunrise!) and it’s a very quick walk up to the shops and restaurants in the village. We also loved using the outdoor pool and hot tub. Would recommend for a very peaceful stay at Stratton!

Perfect location
This condo at Rising Bear is such a great place to stay. This was our second time staying at this condo in the last 2 months. We stayed here while skiing in January for 5 days and then decided to take another trip in early March to ski Stratton again for a few days, and specifically sought out this condo because of how great of a place it was during our last visit. It's very spacious, clean, and fully stocked. This place has it all. Location, underground parking(super convenient), great views, and accessibility to name a few. The host is super attentive and responsive to any needs that may arise. Look forward to getting back here again in the future.

Perfect sized unit for a couple of families. Location is perfect for mountain and village access. We love staying here. Unit owner very accommodating and responsive.

Great location and spacious condo.
Space was excellent. The heat was a bit hard to regulate (although too hot is better than too cold!). The bedrooms could use more light. We need more than 3 keys for a condo of this size. One of the bedrooms was supposed to have 2 twin beds instead of double bed. Kitchen was well stocked.

Great Location!!
We spent MLK weekend here with 9 of us. The rooms are spacious and location is perfect. We walked to the mountain with our skis and it was super easy. Even with smaller children.

Easy Access to Mountain
We booked a four night stay to come from the west coast and spend some time our family from Massachusetts. The condo and its proximity to the main base of the mountain was fantastic. The underground parking with luggage carts made the process very easy to get settled into the condo. The day of our arrival Stratton received 12 inches of new snow so the conditions were excellent for skiing. We arrived the Monday of a holiday weekend so the mountain was almost empty the entire week we were there. No lines were present for the ski lifts including the gondola. We look forward to making this trip again with our family in future years.

2021 Christmas in Stratton
Great location and nice apartment, just a short walk to the slopes. Not sure whether it is worth the steep Christmas rates especially given the underwhelming snow conditions but overall we had a good time.

Proximity of unit to village was perfect!
We parked our car at the beginning of our stay and didn’t touch it until we left! We also had 4 teenagers with us, I was nervous about crossing the access road. It wasn’t an issue at all. They loved the freedom of going for coffee or grabbing an ice cream after dinner

Was a great spot for family getaway. Six adults and 3 children under 4. 4 bathrooms was a plus. Huge dining table had plenty of room for all of us and then some.

Good location, spacious unit in need of better housekeeping and maintenance
Was told upon arriving that the fireplace was not working, blinds in need of repair and cleanliness was not up to par.( stains on carpets, debris under furniture, burned out light bulbs)
There wasn't any toilet paper or dishwasher soap and owner was informed about this issue and he said he would call housekeeping but no one ever solved our problem.
No large pots, only 2 wine glasses, stains on carpets
After reviewing past reviews some of these issues have been around for months. This has been our least liked VRBO rental.

This unit has it all - outdoor heated pool and hot tub, sauna, ice skating rink, fire pit, and steps away from the heart of the Village and lifts.

Nice stay in Stratton but maintenance needed
We stayed for four nights with two families (four adults and five kids). The condo was very spacious, with plenty of room for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. The property was located a short walk from the mountain, which was very convenient. As others have written, there is definite need for maintenance. The lighting was very poor, with some not working and some flickering. The entire carpet was stained. The TVs in the kids' rooms did not work; this caused a lot of whining, disappointment, and unneeded stress. There were only three wine glasses in the cabinet, and there was no large pot for cooking. Despite a ski locker being present in the garage, there was no key available so that we could use it. The property needed some cleaning - when we were searching for missing remotes there was a lot of stuff (socks, dust, dirt, etc) under the beds and behind the dressers. Also, there was food crusted onto the counters when we arrived. Finally, note that the phone number and email address on the lease are not working. This caused a bit of stress, as it was not easy to get in contact with the owner. Overall, for the high price, I expected much more.
