This little house was perfect for our week gateway! It was less than 10 mins of a walk to the beach , pier , restaurants and shopping centers! We even got to experience the food market they had super close to us! Catrina was very communicative , friendly and answered all of my questions I had. Her home had everything what we needed! Me , boyfriend and our small dog had a peaceful nice week! Neighborhood was very quiet at night time and home was very private with your own parking space which was very helpful! We would definitely stay again :)

This beach cottage was in a perfect location. Minutes to beach, food & coffee. Had a nice private deck & off street parking!!! Made our stay in Ocean Beach very relaxing.

The property was ideal for our stay for my wife and I plus our dog! We walked all day every day from the house to local shops and restaurants, the beach and the pier. The neighborhood is well maintained, the house was clean and cute, the patio spacious, and the tv had many options for when we retired at night. The bed was comfy and there were many fans and nice windows that opened easily and the shower had great heat and water pressure. Just a few blocks to Newport street, Voltaire street and the beach. We would definitely stay here again. Catrina was extremely polite and easy to communicate with. There was a booklet with many good options to narrow down places to eat and visit!

Cute little house…host was great!

This place is quaint and perfect for our family of 3. (20 year old daughter) It was also very clean. It has all the essentials you need. We enjoyed the deck each evening. We also used the beach supplies. We did walk to eat and some shopping but, we rented a car and loved having a parking spot behind the house. It is 15 minutes from everything. Besides the airplanes flying overhead early in the morning.. it was nice and quiet neighborhood.

Walking distance to beach and downtown OB. My husband was able to walk his surfboard to the beach it’s so close! Having a designated parking spot was great since parking is hard to find. We basically parked and didn’t get back in the car until it was time to leave because we could walk everywhere. There’s beach toys, wagon and boogie boards available. When I had an issue with the Roku (user error) host was quick to respond and help. The space is small, clean and as described. Would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay and the location. The place was cozy, clean and comfortable. We would stay again for sure. The only minor thing was the bedroom remote ran out of batteries and seemed to need a charger cord to recharge it. Other than that, we loved it!

Our stay was very comfortable, quaint, and relaxing. The home was well decorated and cleaned nicely. The patio was the ultimate hang-out spot. The bed was comfortable. We both felt very lucky that booked this place. It was everything we hoped for. The only two things I would say to improve upon is to update the shower head (too low), and that the locking mechanism for the front door seemed a little off. Sometimes would take us 2-3 tries to get into the house. Other than that, amazing stay and would stay again for sure

My two sisters and I traveled from out of state and we had the best time ever. Ocean beach is such a cute, fun, beautiful place to visit. The adorable cottage was perfectly located and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay. Nothing bad to say.

Super comfortable place and great location.

My friend and I spent several days here. We loved exploring Ocean Beach and the laid-back, down-to-earth vibe it offers. This cottage is a 5-10 min walk through neighborhoods to the beach. I found Ocean Beach very walkable and really enjoyed the location of this spot. It’s also only a 10 min walk from downtown OB restaurants. The house was clean, cozy, and had what we needed. The kitchen was small but functionable for two. We especially loved the little private deck in the back to eat breakfast. The only drawback was being under the flight path of the airport. There were frequent low jets flying overhead. I think that could be said of anywhere in OB and a lot of spots in San Diego though. Keeping all the windows closed helped. We also appreciated the room-darkening curtains on the windows!

This cottage was everything it said it is . Our host was very kind , extremely helpful in letting us come in early. My husband was terribly ill as we came off our cruise . He ended up in hospital for few days , very thankful for the kindness of Catrina our host. She made the transition to her cottage very helpful. Cute place. Not as close to beach as I thought. It’s about 4 blocks but it was a nice walk with my dogs. Nice patio area. Beds comfortable but could use new pillows.

The cottage was everything that we needed for our stay. we walked every morning with our doggies. No problem walking around the neighborhood and able to pick up coffee at every turn. Great kitchen and a washer and dryer. wonderful !!! Definitely a keeper. Thank you, Irene & Eric

.... We really liked this property. This is a classic, well-maintained beach cottage in a great location. It is not large, but it feels cozy, not cramped. The orientation of the property coupled with the completely enclosed patio makes you feel very private -- and yet you are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The owner was both friendly and responsive -- very nice to work with. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog -- I don't think that she wanted to leave either!. We had a great stay and we would happily return.

comfortable, vintage OB

I loved this charming bungalow. It was a great location for walking to both Ocean Beach's downtown and the cafes/shops on Voltaire St. The house was clean, comfortable, roomy and had a great back patio. I stayed 6 nights in downtown San Diego and two nights here. I highly recommend staying downtown and in OB since there is a lot to do in the Point Loma/Ocean Beach area. The area reminds me of the beach towns I grew up in during the 70s when quaint beach bungalows were the norm instead of overbuilt beach communities with the 3 story homes that have replaced them. Catrina was so helpful and responsive, a perfect host. My highlights were walking along Sunset Cliffs, coffee/pastries at Azucar, a burger at Hodad's and the Track Taco at Blue Water Seafood. I'll visit again!

We were there to 1. Celebrate 30 year wedding anniversary and 2. Wait for my Brain MRI results. This was a perfect distraction and allowed us to reconnect amongst the beautiful ocean. This house was very clean cute and quaint and made me extremely relaxed. Perfect location. We walked everywhere, they are surrounded by amazing restaurants. Ocean Beach just had an awesome feel. We will go back and will plan to stay here again -- next time I won't go in December fog and no sunshine was the only negative ! Our hosts were amazing and quick with any issues, those were extremely minimal.

This is a charming little cottage with a private self-enclosed patio and quiet neighborhood. My husband and I stayed for two days with our two small (under 25 lbs) dogs (you need permission for more than one dog). We loved it and it was so nice to know we could let the dogs out to enjoy the sunshine in a safe, private, and enclosed patio! The accommodations were clean, convenient, and well equipped with all you need for a fun stay. Carina was very responsive and check in and out was a breeze. We are always looking for dog friendly places (as opposed to those who claim to be and are actually just "dog tolerant" ). This location is now top of our list for a repeat stay! Very close to restaurants, shops, and dog friendly beach. You even have your own dedicated parking driveway which is ideal as parking can be a challenge in this area. 5 stars from us!

The place was very nice and very clean. The location was terrific, close by everything. I would definitely recommend it, the only problem we had was, are stay was to short. Thank You for your hospitality !

My boyfriend and I stayed here while visiting friends in Ocean Beach and it could not have been a better set up. Great location, great wifi (we both worked remotely), great house and patio! Additionally, the neighbors have the cutest and sweetest golden retriever who was an unanticipated highlight! Catrina was extremely responsive and helpful -- can't say enough good things!
