The house was in a good location close to second crossing. We had not been out to the River in years and was a great experience, look forward to doing it again next year.

Very roomy , clean & had everything we needed . I over packed not knowing what to expect, but this place has it all ! There were 12 of us & we were very comfortable & happy with our stay . We will stay here again ! Highly recommend 😊

The house is awesome and spacious, check in was easy and quick and we had zero issues with the home. We did a few day trips and at night we would make a nice fire and relax outside very peaceful and secluded. Definitely will be back, highly recommended

Don’t trust this property. I received a cancellation on the same morning as my reservation. The car was packed and the kids were in looking forward to fun on spring break. We were left high and dry with no explanation and no place to stay. You don’t get to do “do overs” when cancelled on this late. You’ve been warned if you book this and it happens to you.

Great experience renting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not have any issues at all through out our stay but have no doubt they would have been right out to help correct any issues if needed. Fire pit was awesome , found plenty of firewood out on the property. House was clean, everything worked. Pretty straight forward. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!!

Nice stylish home with outdoor fire pit. Bring your own fire wood. Clean, had 1 light bulb out and another went out during stay. No big deal. Everything seemed to work great for us. Frio river access is about a half mile away or so and you can walk to concrete river crossing but you can’t get off bridge because the land at river is privately owned. But you can walk down the river which was nice. I would recommend it for family that wants to see lots of deer and cooks Shmores at fire pit. Private setting set back away from road which makes it really nice. About 50% of final cost is added on by fees, service charges, taxes, etc. and you will add a small county tax to cost which is not included in Vrbo calculations... Enjoyed the trip.. beautifull wood theme inside home!!!...

We stayed with 2 other families and we enjoyed our time. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us. We enjoyed being so close to nature, we even enjoyed the river. We took advantage and took family pictures there. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to get away.

Rentimg process was simple. Communication. by Vrbo and manager was exceptional from start to finish. Definiately satisfied doing business through Vrbo!

Stayed for a weekend and loved this place! Pictures don't really give the value of this place! Everything was excellent, location was perfect near the river and having that store next door was a plus! Garner state park 10 minutes was perfect. House was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable! Our boys had a blast all day outside playing and making smores at night by the pit. We will be back again soon! The only thing I disliked about this place is all the extra fees compared to other homes here in VRBO. Other than that it perfect!

We have stayed nearby several times. The house was clean and the location of the house made for relaxing evenings.

Our family loved this property. It was tucked in away from the road so it was quiet with lots of wildlife. The space was large enough for 10 adults to sleep comfortably and the outdoor space was huge! We were able to sit outside every evening and enjoy the space. There is also a very nice grill onsite and fire pit. I even had to work some while there and was concerned about WiFi but had no problems at all. Highly recommend d this place!

If you’re looking for a private getaway for your family, look no further! Easy access to the river, coffee on the porch counting the endless deer, while feeling secluded from everyone around! We will definitely be returning next year!

This cabin works well for our annual family reunion. The proximity to the river is really nice too.

It was an easy process.

This is our second year to stay at this property and we love it! Right next door to the store. Very convenient. But you still have privacy and a short walk to the river. The kids and the adults both love that. The house is always spotless and tons of room. We will continue to stay here every summer!

The location was great. House was clean, however, the AC filters were terribly dirty, had them changed. Then the master commode didn’t flush but guy came and fixed it. Very hard water and would suggest water softener to help on plumbing! I would suggest bringing extra padding for beds. My husband couldn’t sleep on them or me because they were so hard and not comfortable!! The showers need updating. Hard water clogged up the shower heads. My kids slept upstairs and had spiders in one of the beds and walls! It was a stressful trip because we didn’t get much rest. I think overall the house was great location it just is in need of some more updating in the plumbing, beds, stove had burner knobs not working, and bug man often. I know it’s in the woods and I live in the country. But for the price we paid I was expecting to be better! Maintenance is key and really need to have it checked before, during and after the busy summer season! I done rentals before and don’t like leaving a bad review at all. But just feel to be honest is the best policy. No one likes to call a maintenance person every time you turn around to come fix something. I know things break randomly trust me. It’s not my first rodeo. I’ve been there and know from my own experience owning rentals.

Very spacious enough space to sleep comfortable 13 people. Walking distance to the river , 3 minutes walk to the convenience store.

we We’re extremely happy with this stay and met all the expectations!

We may have gotten a little lost on our way to the cabin , but Derrick found us and we realized the sign was right outside but we had missed it! When we first pulled up the property we were pleasantly surprised at how wooded and secluded it was even though it was so close to the main rd. The amenities were great...loved the updated log cabin feel on the inside and the overall outside of the cabin as well. We went during our Thanksgiving holiday so the weather was ideal. Enjoyed stargazing and barbqing and even the occasional deer watching. Thank you Maggie we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

Group of men went for a dove hunt in mornings and football viewing in afternoon/evening. TV never worked. Maint guy came out to repair with no luck. As I look back at reviews it appears this was already an issue. The property grounds were beautiful but we definitely would have rented another place if TV issue was known.

Property on the website seemed closer to the river also the one tv with cable didn’t work. We could not enjoy watching TV as a family.
