This was the BEST VBRO we have ever stayed in. We stayed for our son's college graduation and I wish I would have know about this home 4 years ago. It was absolutely perfect, beautiful and truly the best trip we have has. I definitely recommend this home!!!

Beautiful home in a very convenient location. This home was in immaculate condition, welcomed with fresh flowers and chocolate bars that were exceptional. Very comfortable, with many different areas to have privacy. Great wood stove that made the home nice and warm on those cold winter nights. Nice stream and decks around the property which I am sure is beautiful in the summer. The owner Helena was wonderful to work with and very responsive. This is not a normal rental property, this is a family’s private vacation home . Our family loved this home and can’t wait to return.

We had a great week at this house over winter break. The house was incredibly well maintained and clean when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked. The layout worked well for our group with multiple kids. The house was not child proofed for our infant, but we were aware of that going in and could have brought baby gates for the steps. Great location, close to Mt. Ellen, Sugarbush and MRG as well as Waitsfield for supply runs. Would totally stay here again.

We wanted a place for a Thanksgiving celebration with the adult kids all having some private space (with their mates) and a spacious communal living area too. Some of us worked remotely while there. Everything worked out well, and the kitchen was well-stocked for a festive spread. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Waitsfield and Warren too. Loved the sound of the river/stream that runs by the house? Host handled a glitch with the heating efficiently and throughly. The house was immaculate when we arrived—really appreciated that.

We really loved our stay here and will definitely come back next time we’re in the valley. The home is beautiful and well-appointed, and it sits in an ideal location. Hosts were great communicators.

The house is warm and welcoming with everything one would need even for a weekend away. The grounds were as peaceful as the pictures look. The stream created the most tranquil ambiance. I hope I am fortunate enough to stay here again.

We have vacationed in the Waitsfield /Warren area many times and this house is at the top of the list. It is spacious, well maintained, and immaculate. It has a first rate kitchen. The deck is amazing overlooking Bradley Brook. The owner obviously puts a lot of time and effort into the house. It is in a great location- on the mountain but a short drive to town. Helaine was a very responsive and helpful host.

Luxurious without being too precious. Loved it.

The home was even better than the photos. Plenty of space, including the fabulous bonus room over garage that made an excellent "man cave" for the teenager and the den that was grandmother's reading nook and the sun porch that became a yoga room. The owner is responsive almost in real time and took our small suggestions seriously. It's a lovely place for a week in VT, even when it rains most of the time!

Helena’s home was even more lovely that we could have imagined. The surrounding area with the brook was gorgeous and we had a great time swinging on the hammock. There was so much space in the house but it still felt cozy. We had a small issue while we were there but it was addressed right away. Excellent communication with owner. We will be back!

The house is beautiful and the owner, Helena, is so accommodating and lovely. The home was incredibly clean (which we were concerned about in Covid) and we felt more than comfortable when we arrived. The beds are so comfortable which is always a wonderful bonus in a rental! The brook in the back is gorgeous and we spent a lot of time with my toddler playing in the water. The house is secluded and all you can hear is the beautiful stream and sounds of nature. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the woods and water. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked almost every meal - the open layout allows family and friends to hang out while meals are prepared. The grill works great too! We had a question about the cable during our stay and Helena got right back to us and was so gracious about the solution. We plan to rent this home again if it’s available! It’s clear that the home is filled with love and care. Thank you, Helena!

Everything about the house was perfect, spacious, clean, and close to downtown and mountains! Great set up for kids also with game room over garage.

I came up with a group for a ski weekend. The location was amazing, right at the base of Mt. Ellen and a very short drive to Sugarbush's main entrance. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone as well as their ski clothing and gear. It has a nice bonus room over the garage as well. The one downside was the WiFi didn't work very well and I didn't get any cell reception either.

We loved our stay. The house is great. Quick access to Mt. Ellen. It's terrific that we were able to use the 2 car garage during our stay. Would love to stay here again. Thank you!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Helena's immaculately maintained home that sits perfectly, just 1/4-mile from Mt. Ellen, a 7-minute drive from Lincoln Peak, and 10-minutes from Mad River Ski Area. It generously accommodated my family of four and our close friends' family of five. We were even able to entertain an additional family of four for dinner. The Jacuzzi tub is clean and capacious. There were no hassles and everything was ready for our arrival. When our friend's daughter became ill, we asked if we could have a later checkout time so they could recover from a tough night and care for her from the house. Helena she was very responsive and accommodating. We all left dreaming of buying our own homes in Warren/Waitsfield.

The house was clean and neat and very comfortable and more then enough space for our group of 4 adults (2 were grandparents) and 2 small children. My son age 6 loved the foosball table, and my daughter age 2 loved curling up in the window seats with the pillows in the bonus room. The kitchen is very nice and roomy - in fact we opted to cook in 1 night instead of going out. The wood stove was easy to operate, and was nice to warm up to after a day on the slopes. The beds are all very comfortable for sleeping, and the rooms have a special 'cared for' touch to them. It had rained days prior to us coming up, followed by cold weather and a bit of snow so it was extra nice to be able to pull both cars into the garage bays. The mud room right off of the garage is very spacious for loading and unloading too. The proximity to Mt. Ellen is wonderful - we might not have tried it if we were not so close, and we throughly enjoyed avoiding the crowds at Lincoln Peak on a busy Saturday. Helena proved to be a very kind and gracious host. All in all, we highly recommend!

The location can't be beat. It is close to Mt Ellen and a 10 minute drive to Sugarbush Lincoln Peak base. Driveway was well maintained; it was easy to get in and out. The house itself is lovely and tight (no drafts) with a wood stove that keeps everything toasty warm. There is a beautiful brook behind the house and when it rained, the sound was very peaceful. Excellent cook's kitchen. The layout of the area of kitchen, dining and family room around the wood stove is cozy and just what we needed for after ski dinners and board games. The room over the garage is wonderful - beautifully decorated and perfect for watching movies and football. The master bath was very spacious and relaxing with the Jacuzzi tub. The hosts were most welcoming!

This house was perfect for our two families, one a family of four, the other a family of five, with 4 teenage boys and one tween girl! It is a beautiful house, set back from the main road, so you really feel secluded. The owner, Helena, gave us very detailed directions which was helpful in finding the house and provided us with lots of helpful information about the house and the area. She even left her tree up for us after I mentioned we would be doing our XMAS gift exchange and it added to the charm of the house. The pictures don't do the bonus room justice- it is a large room that kept the kids entertained and out of sight after a day of skiing. They loved the foosball table and apparently had several tournaments. The kitchen is well appointed and has almost everything you could want- we did a lot of cooking as the week we were there had two days of frigid temperatures (-29 with winds and frostbite warnings). The three full bathrooms were appointed with plenty of towels, toilet paper and lovely shampoos and lotions. The mudroom entrance was perfect to enter and exit and was big enough for us to leave all our boots and coats. The house's proximity to Sugarbush North was particularly nice too- Mt. Ellen was our best day of skiing, even with -7 actual temps. There is a wood burning stove that was great given the cold weather (we practically used all the wood over 5 days) but I would just caution to be careful of the brick platform that it is housed on. We had several stubbed toes and a fall (due to several glasses of wine as well as not being used to it)- I think it's the kind of thing that you take for granted if you live in the house. Once we got used to the rhythm of the house, it was fine. We would recommend this house to anyone who loves Vermont skiing and wants to get away from it all. I would imagine that it is equally beautiful in the summer!
