Questo cottage Greenslake è davvero la fuga perfetta! All'interno è luminoso, mentre la vista sulla laguna genera una vacanza tranquilla. The place was in the PERFECT location for the Kiawah Marathon. Walking distance to the starting line. The pictures and listing were spot on. The space was lovely and just right for the 4 of use. Would definitely recommend!

Cute little cottage. Conveniently located close to the beach. Lots of bike paths. Not too far from Charleston. Only drawback was the twin beds were very uncomfortable

We really enjoyed this cottage. It was clean & the property manager replied quickly. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes or 5 minutes by bike but we didn’t mind it. Highly recommend getting bikes to ride around town & travel down to see the dolphins. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a cozy, quiet place to vacation.

The property is well located at West Beach and approximately a 3 minute bike ride from the beach and is adjacent to Cougar Point. The property is well maintained and decorated. Susie, the host is especially gracious and has excellent communication.

Clean and comfortable. Our first trip to Kiawah island. It was nice. Because we rented through this venue, there was no access to the fun pools the kids would have enjoyed. The bike paths are wonderful. There is shopping close, and the beach is beautiful and not crowded. Overall, I think it was relaxing and worth the cost.

Great little cottage, excellent for a family vacation.
Very nice cottage with more than enough space for a family of four. We felt very welcomed, short bike ride to the beach and pool. Will be looking forward to come back.

Perfect for our young family!
The location was amazing and the cottage had everything we needed. We weren't able to find the iron but we got in contact with the property manager and had a brand new iron on the porch within a few hours. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Great visit overall
Enjoyed our stay. Was close to pool & beach. Was also close to where my daughter was in Sparrow Lake Would recommend extra pillows & blankets. Kept 2 other grandchildren on 2 occasions & had to use sofa cushions & beach towels. We did have an ant issue early on, but one text to the manager & that was remedied. Will come back

Beautiful place
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean and nicely furnished. The location was perfect - very close to beach access and bike trails. We loved sorted on the screened in porch in evenings. One minor complaint is that the king bed needs replaced -no back aches but it’s a bit lumpy and overly springy due to worn out box spring.

Great vacation
Charming cottage, very quiet location. Kitchen was well stocked. Beach and pool an easy bike ride away. There is a grill on the deck, but could use replacing. Igniter did not work and burners were badly rusted and falling apart. Other than that, we had a great time. Would come back again.

We loved this home and its proximity to the pool, beach and amenities. Would absolutely stay here again. Worked great with our 2 year old who got to have her own room.

What a wonderful week
My husband, 3-year-old daughter and I had a fantastic week at 1221 Greenslake. The bungalow is lovely with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable living space. The location is terrific and we enjoyed long bike rides, swimming in the community pool and playing on the beach. Susie was great to work with and was very prepared and responsive. We hope to find ourselves back here next year.

Wonderful week on Kiawah
Overall we had a really fabulous week. Susie was great, so accommodating even before our arrival time with local information on bike rentals, stores etc. we loved the refreshing and beachy feel of the cottage. The walk to the beach and pool were both very reasonable and often we rode bikes which was even faster. As I stated before, overall it was a very relaxing genuinely great week on the island.

This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage is situated in a prime location on Kiawah Island. It’s fantastic for both long term and short term visits. The property Manager, Susie is wonderful, always responsive and exceptionally skilled at making sure her guest are taken care of. The unit itself needs a little updating, and a few tweaks, but we will come back, regardless. Ask about housekeeping services, and stocking, depending on your stay.

We loved the cottage! Walked to the beautiful beach everyday. Everything you need is here.
We had everything we needed for a lovely get away week. We loved the island it was quiet and peaceful. We tried to see the dolphins strand feed however they never showed up. We contacted one of the island bike rentals and had our bikes delivered to the cottage for the week (perfect option). Freshfields Village was a great place to get groceries (Harris Teeter even will steam your purchased shrimp for you for free!), gas & ice cream trips. A few day trips into Charleston was only a 45-minute drive away. It never felt far as the scenery was lovely. Other than hurricane Florence crouching in on our stay we had wonderful time. There is construction going on in the area for the 2021 PGA tournament but we never experienced any problems.

The house was clean, charming and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the washer, dryer & dishwasher were very loud.

Just "OK"
Cottage was older than we expected. Appearance of cottage in photos are accurate, however the quality of the remodeling of the cottage was less than you would expect. Weather was good and we enjoyed our time as always when visiting Kiawah.

Perfect Cottage for Family of 4
This is our third year staying in Greenslake Cortages, but our first staying in the this unit. It is by far the most inviting and comfortable to date. The open kitchen was such a treat and allowed so much light from the slider off the living room. There were plenty of cooking utensils for all our meals. The gas grill was a nice treat! The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The twin beds in the front bedroom worked perfectly for our kids. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The screen porch was our favorite as we would sit out and enjoy morning coffee and listen to all of Kiawah's amazing wildlife. The location of Greenslake cannot be beat as they are tucked away at the end of Kiawah Beach Drive for ultimate privacy, but still close enough to the beach and straw market. Our host was always very responsive whenever we had a question! Overall, we were very pleased and enjoyed our stay. We are already setting our sights on next summer!

Great Place to Stay
First of all, Susie was great to work with. She got us a place on short notice and we had no problems. The cottage was exactly like the pictures. It was not far from the ocean and the area it was located was not crowded at all. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nice and clean, and the living area was very nice. We will definitely give Susie a call the next time we are coming to Kiawah!

Beatiful cottage with everything we needed!
Beautiful remodeled open main area, screened porch, gas grill and short bike ride to the beach - everything we wanted! Extra surprise - it was stocked with a spice rack (we used up Italian Seasoning, btw), dish soap and laundry detergent - very useful. We donated a nonstick skillet. Baking sheet is needed, but someone had left some disposable ones, so we were fine. Highlight of the trip - we finally got to see the dolphins strand feed (west end of island at low tide) - sooo cool!

Great for Our Family
We stayed at 1221 Greenslake Cottage over Labor Day weekend, and found the cottage to be clean and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed taking the trails on the short walk to the beach, as well as around the island. The cottage surroundings were quiet and it felt very private, and one morning, we even watched two deer feeding by the lagoon as we enjoyed coffee and croissants on the screened porch. The cottage is cozy, but spacious enough to provide furnishings for lounging and storing our belongings. We made complete meals "at home" and found the kitchen to be well-stocked for cooking and serving. We also appreciated the spacious pantry. The beds and linens were in notably good condition and were comfortable.

Cute decor but some issues with cleanliness and kitchen
We liked the location and decor of this home. At first glance, everything appeared comfortable and well cared for. After being there 1 day, we noticed multiple issues. The kitchen is poorly stocked. What they do have is poor quality and has taken a beating. Additionally, we used the dryer the first day to dry some towels. The entire home heated up to over 80 degrees, despite the ac being set at 68. There were also water spots and what looked like fresh leaks on the ceiling in a couple of places. There were some stains on the throw pillows. All of these issues could be easily resolved...they just need some attention.
