Our family of four stayed here for three nights and had a great time! The second bedroom was perfect for our kids to share and we enjoyed the separate bathrooms as well. The location cannot be beat, such a short walk and you're on the beach. Can't wait to come back!

The beach home was very inviting and gave us enough privacy from the other homes nearby. Plus its proximity to the beach was perfect (not too crowded). We loved watching the pelicans fly over, beachcombing, and building sand castles. The new downstairs addition gave us plenty of space. Mr Buish was very helpful with answering our questions during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I hope we'll get the opportunity to visit again next year.

Great location. Loved to be able to walk out the door and be on the beach in a few short steps. Cannot beat the view. Sitting on the front deck was the highlight of the trip. Perfect beach house for our family. House was a littler old and needed some updating in areas. But overall it filled our needs. Did have a bit of AC mishap but communicated promptly and got it fixed within the day. Overall we would stay here again and recommend to others.

The place was great, as usual! Never disappoints!! More additions/upgrades added this year. It’s in a perfect location.

We loved the view of the beach from the front porch and the house was just what we hoped for!

The house was just what we needed. We had 7 in our group, plenty of space for our family. With it being on a restricted beach area, my grandkids had time and space to play in the water, lay out on the beach, and chase crabs at night without worrying about getting in someone's way. Would definitely like an opportunity to stay here again. I had to contact the property owner a couple of times about some minor things, but all in all, my family and I made some lasting memories Location is a big selling point.

This is a cute little house. The location can't be beat, and the view is gorgeous! The house itself does need a few repairs, but overall is a nice place, and was clean and tidy when we arrived. We would stay here again.

We have stayed at this property several times. The location is great. Love that dogs are allowed. Look forward to our next trip to Galveston.

We loved our stay at the beach house! Online pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful view and just steps from the beach. We went to the little grocery about 100 yards behind the property and bought all the food we needed. Once back we didn’t leave for a few days. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The beach is very clean and private from public access and the neighbors were super friendly. The house was very clean when we arrived. Only a few things to complain about- only one chair available to bring to the beach, but it worked out fine for me and my daughter, there was no grill and previous renters had left piles of grilling debris on the carport, but we were fine without a grill, and the water never seemed to be cold enough, but it was super steamy outside being in August. I would definitely rent again and bring the items we need. The host was very attentive to communication. Having a store at the main road within walking distance was awesome. Beautiful and peaceful deck and views of the water and the beach that is at the end of a private short sandy path through the dunes. Very charming.

You can't beat the location of this beachfront condo. Jamaica Beach just down from the public access point (so no vehicles on beach), just walk through the front yard and you are on the sand at the water line. Condo is clean and nice for a group. Great porch overlooking the beach with a comfy hammock. House is a little run down/needing repairs but was clean and beds were comfortable. The listing is not super accurate though (pictures show 2 sets of bunk beds in a room that only has one set and zero room to actually hold 2). We were not given any check in instructions at all- I had to email the owners a few times to get info needed. Also given no check out instructions. But overall good property and you really can't beat the location!

This place is so relaxing! So convenient to the beach & no motor traffic made it great for my grandson. We had a great time and will definitely return.

Loved the location which is just steps away from the pedestrian only beach and a fantastic little grocery mart. Very private and nice neighborhood. Had an awesome nap on the hammock with the sound of the ocean. Top deck is covered and shields sun in latter part of day so with coastal breeze, you can hang outside for hours. Floors are in great shape. Lots of windows. New appliances. Plenty of cooking tools (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) and dishes/glasses and serving trays. There was plenty of dish soap & detergent, coffee filters, paper towels for our use from previous renters. Even some foil. Some sand castle toys were in the outdoor shower. A Keurig was also there during our visit. We didn’t use bar-b-q pit after all but left some charcoal for the next folks. TVs in LR and bedrooms but we never really used. Host was friendly & quick to reply and always helpful. You can see repairs have been made to top deck railing so it was sturdy. Beds were comfortable. The master closet converted to a bunk bed room so extra sleeping space. Great for families. Will stay there again!

This is a perfect place. The best of views and just step out to the beach. The house was very clean and all you could want. I’m sure we will visit again when it’s not 100+ degrees.

This is always a great get away place for us! House is on the beach and in a perfect location. No crowds to deal with while on the beach! Host is very helpful and quick with anything you might need.

Location is outstanding! Property better looking than it appeared online. Some amenities lacking, but overall a nice place to stay. Would rent here again.

We loved our stay. The property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves! We will absolutely stay here again!

Roomy, clean property. On the beach with an awesome deck to relax and enjoy the peaceful sound of the ocean. I would love to be able to stay for an extended time. Hope to be able to repeat this experience!

Roomy house right on the beach. Very comfortable furniture and beds. 2 full size sofas and 2 electric recliners in living room. Fully equipped kitchen. Private outdoor shower with hot water. Partially covered large deck. Would definitely rent this home again.

comfortable, clean, superior location, great for our dog (who had never seen the sea),every possible kitchen item available, washer/dryer an added plus and the best porch/deck for veggin out with a glass of wine in hand.

This house was great. There have been some updates since the pictures on line so it is even better than it looks. As others have mentioned, house was well equipped (including TP, paper towels, trash bags), it did feel like we had the beach mostly to ourselves. My 13 year old spent a lot of time in the hammock on the deck and on the beach - It was nice not having cars in this section. We did venture into town and did a Segway tour - it was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of Galveston. Robby was great always quick to respond and very helpful - before, during, and upon departure of our visit.

Great little retreat right on the beach and convenient to food and services.
