From my parents in their 80's to my 3 year old grandson a great time was had by all. We brought our boat with us and spent days playing in the lake. At night we caught fireflies, made smores by the fire pit and watched fireworks.

This was a great property that included everything we needed to have a fabulous weekend at the lake. We took our boat and enjoyed being able to just hop in and go from the dock. The home was beautiful and we felt right at home. The property owners were wonderful to work with. I messaged several times before and after our stay. They responded within minutes of my message which was most appreciated. Thanks for a wonderful weekend and experience.

Great location with a marina nearby for launching boats and getting food and supplies. Another marina just across the cove. Nicely update log cabin with great amenities. Easy to dock your boat and get out on the main lake for ski/surf/tube fun or other areas for fishing. Hosts were great in communicating the setup and clear instructions on check-in and check-out. Would highly recommend for family fun!

We had a great time celebrating my husbands 40th birthday! The location and the house it's self were perfect. Especially loved the giant decks! Would definitely rent this property again and again.

Great home about 1/2 between ATL and Augusta. The area has some nice amenities but do need to plan around meals if want to eat out as somewhat removed from town. Host was great as we left some items and worked diligent to get back to owners. Nice option and peaceful location.

My family and I rented this lake home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Cabin is very spacious and clean! Beautiful view of lake and dock was so convenient for my son who was in a bass fishing tournament that weekend. Our family had a wonderful time and Karen and her husband were always available for our questions/needs. We greatly appreciate it and hope to be back next year! 😊

My wife and 4 year older kid were looking for a last minute weekend out of Atlanta. The property managers went above and beyond to work with us on renting this beautiful cabin. Wonderful atmosphere and amenities with a view!

This property was absolutely beautiful. Very quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed for our stay was here. Honestly the pictures posted do this property no justice. When I walked in the front door my breath was taken away. Super cozy and tranquil!!

It was lovely, great location, good beds and well equipped. There was however a very foul smell in the bathroom and closet.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is large, roomy and well appointed with everything we needed. The porches, yard, fire pit and dock are all great amenities. The host was very helpful and responsive. We rented a pontoon boat at nearby Oconoee Wild Watersports and it's only about 10 minutes by water back to the house. Highly recommend. A+.

This was our first time using VRBO and if they are all like this house, we’ll never stay in a hotel again!! Our stay was fabulous! The house was so nice and the setting was lovely. We were in town for a family wedding so we wish we would have had more time to spend at the house. If you’re contemplating staying here…do it!!

Linger Lodge stole our hearts!! The Shaws are fantastic hosts and thought of everything to appoint this Vrbo very well. It felt like staying at a friend’s lake house instead of a rental. We utilized the entire property…from docking our jet skis to firepit, grill, game room, and cooking in the kitchen. With on-demand hot water, 11 of us had plenty of hot water!! A huge plus!! Don’t hesitate to book this property!!!

We had a great experience staying at the Linger Lodge! Despite a rainy weekend, the house had an assortment of "rainy day" activities including a ping pong table and card games. Karen and Danny were great hosts and we would definitely stay here again for another trip to Lake Oconee. Overall 5-star experience!

We brought our children and grandchildren and had a super fun time. Loved the layout of the cabin. It was clean and beautiful and had room for all of us. We went boating, tubing, fishing off the pier, swimming, and made s’mores in the fire pit. Indoors we played ping pong, had family dinners. and played games. We enjoyed hanging out on the wrap around porch especially the hammock. After the kids went to bed we adults played a great game of cards. Even though there was good Wi-Fi we had little need for our phones. The cabin had a great layout. Unfortunately the downstairs bedrooms had a distinct musty mildew odor. I was upset that my guests had to sleep in there. The kitchen could use new cookware but it was usable. Over all we had a wonderful time. I would love to make this our regular go to family getaway but only if the downstairs bedrooms issue is completely resolved. In the end we made many happy family memories.

We stayed while attending a wedding and had a great experience. The hosts were nice and helpful. Their property was fantastic with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything went well and all had a great time.

Large home w 3 levels. Downstairs game room was fun for all of us. There was a kitchen in that room & on the main level. Our family has a tradition of playing ping pong when we gather. There was only 2 paddles & one split ball. Fortunately a member of our party was still arriving & able to get 2 more paddles & balls on their way. Kids loved to fish from the dock & toss a football near there. We hiked at the Rock Hawk area. Used the fire pit one night & used the BBQ 3 nights. We purchased a better grill brush & took it with us. All family members had a great time.

Four golfers who came for the masters. Great place to use as a base for golf in the area and a trip to Augusta for a Practice round. Wonderful location, clean and comfortable. If I'm lucky enough to get another Masters ticket I'll be coming back.

We had a great trip and the house had everything that we needed. Our men's team had a blast and enjoyed all of the amenities. The Shaw's are great hosts and we will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Plenty of room for a large family or even 2 small families. Great lake view. Firepit. Great wraparound porches. Ping pong and games. Fun time for all ages.

Incredible house to host any crowd. Plenty of beds and great amenities for cooking and grilling. We look forward to doing it again.

Location was right on the water with bonfire and wrap around deck on both level. Kids loved the downstairs area and not far from food and hospital
