Very clean property located right on the mountain. Loved the ski in and out! Loved that we could come back to our place for lunch and take a break instead of the busy lodge.

The condo was everything the listing said it was and more. It was clean, quiet, well furnished and very convenient. It was great to be able to ski in for lunch and then ski back out afterwards.
The kitchen was very well equipped. The ski storage was also very nice.
Great communication with the owners. Definitely would stay again.

Everything you need. Ski out very convenient and shuttles available if you dont want to ski back up the small hill. Lots of dishes, pots and pans to cook. Bathrooms very nice. Loved pool and hot tub Only thing needed was firestarters so yiu can get fireplace wood to light.

We had a great stay. Very convenient ski-in/ski-out off the Right-O-Way trail. Nice views of and access to Christie Lift and Gondola. Well stocked kitchen. Everything was immaculate. Easy/flat walk across parking lot to spa facility. Cher was very easy to work with. Hope to come again!

This is our 2nd year staying at this condo. We absolutely love it and the owners are easy to communicate with. We come to Steamboat to ski only and the condo is perfect with it’s ski in/ out. We already have it booked again for next year! 😊

We loved staying at Cher and Phil's ski in/ski out condo!!! We had the best week leading up to Christmas we could ask for. The kids- age 4, 7, and 9 could ski in and out without too much work. We couldn't have asked for a better location! We LOVED having the wood burning fire place and we relaxed and enjoyed every minute we were together!!! The short distance to the pool and hot tub was also a major win with the kiddos!!! We hope we can continue to come back to this exact condo year after year!!! What an amazing place you have!!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT WIH US!!!!

Great family vacation! Condo was ski in/ski out and very nice. It was well stocked and exactly like advertised. We got lucky and had fresh snow everyday! It was an awesome experience in every facet.

Best ski-in/out location
This is the best ski-in/out location I have ever stayed at! The property is right off the green ski trail which will take you to the bottom (gondola) so you start (and stop) right out of the apartment building door. It is very quiet / away from the ski town and great view of the ski area / mountain. There is also outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi on the property which is really nice after the full day of skiing.

Great Condo!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Being able to ski in and ski out was fantastic. And we loved being so close to the pool and hot tub. The views of the valley were also spectacular.

Perfect location.
If you are looking for a true ski in/out look no further. The condo is in an excellent location and has such a beautiful view. Communication with the host was great and she went above and beyond giving us heads up about road closures….which was greatly appreciated. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommended this place.

Great ski-in, ski-out condo
What a great property. Perfect for easy access to skiing. Kids, ages 10 and 11, were able to ski-in and out. Condo was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the community heated pool and hot tub. Owner was quick with responding to any questions we had.

Comfortable & Convenient
Well-appointed property! Condo clean and beds comfy. The ability to ski in/out is a terrific plus. Owners are responsive and easy to work with. Due to flight changes, Cher graciously allowed us to stay a few hours past check-out time. We did not rent a car and relied on the free Storm Meadows shuttle (operated by Go Alpine), the free city bus and Uber to get around. Since the shuttle does not operate after 5 p.m. during ski season, you do need to plan ahead for dinners out. The wait for a conventional taxi can be be lengthy and there aren't many Ubers in Steamboat. A minor detail since the kitchen is well equipped, and our crowd was content to stay in most evenings after a long day on the mountain.

We had a great stay in Steamboat. One of our favorite places to ski. The condo was exactly as advertised, easy in and out from the slopes. I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kaufman condo. You can ski in and ski out via paths leading to the Right-O-Way trail. The access trail is slightly uphill from the condo, at the intersection of the Giggle Gulch trail and Right-O-Way. There's a lower door by the ski access and a locked ski locker down the hall. It's all about as convenient as you can get for ski-in and ski-out in Steamboat. It's a great option to be able to stop by the condo for lunch if you want to. A true beginner might have a little trouble with the narrow access trail, but everyone else should be fine.
The beds are comfortable, with nice memory foam mattresses. On a spectrum from soft to firm they are a little firm, but very comfortable. You should know that the second bedroom is separated from the living area by a retractable screen which has some light gaps. This was not a problem for us, as we all turned in early after lots of skiing, but could be an issue for someone trying to sleep with other folks active in the kitchen or living room.
The kitchen is very well equipped, much more so than the typical ski condo. There is every kind of pot, pan, griddle, crock-pot, etc that you can imagine. It's the first time I've ever seen sharp knives at a ski condo.
The rec-center, pool and hot tub are great as well. You get free towels and a locker with your room key. Although it's so close we settled on just walking over in our suits. The pool is salt water, and the hot tub was clean.
Overall a great experience, and highly recommended.

Everything was WONDERFUL!!!
The Kondo was perfect for our first ski trip to Steamboat! VERY nicely decorated, clean and VERY comfy beds. Kitchen was so well equipped, it was almost like having the kitchen at home. The Ski in/Ski out was VERY convenient and made it easy for the skier's to come back for lunch. Quiet building, great ski storage area and easy access to shuttle and once we figured it out, we were glad we didn't have a car. Cher was a joy to work with and very quick on answering my emails. All in all a GREAT vacation and we will definitely stay here again!!

Feels like home
This is the third storm meadows unit we've rented. This is the best of the three. It feels like home inside. It is quiet, well appointed, and has nice views. The flow for the rental process was easy. We will be back.

Excellent location, great updates, secluded, quiet, and great amenities.
I highly recommend this condo. The owners have done some really nice upgrades and the location is tough to beat. It’s on the top floor at the end of the building so you don’t have to worry about noisy neighbors. Kitchen was well stocked. You could host 10+ for dinner and still have extra place settings. Great place overall!!

There were so many things we loved about this home! The owners are super responsive to any questions. The unit's location in the building is at the end where there is little traffic so it's nice and quite. GREAT ski in / ski out access! The shuttle service is convenient so there's no need to rent a car. Rain showers after a long day of skiing were amazing. Fireplace was super easy and really, really nice. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were nice and comfortable. Probably my favorite VRBO so far!
And... this home is MUCH nicer than it appears in the pictures!

Great Ski-in Ski-out
We had a great stay at the property. The location is one of the best on the mountain for ski-in/out. We were able to come back to lunch each day and stop in for breaks when we needed them. The condo itself is great. Beautiful view of the slopes and we were able to see the fireworks on New Years Eve. Everything you could ever need is in the condo. The kitchen is equipped with any cooking need you would have and the bedrooms have everything you need. We are a family of 5 and were very comfortable here. We will definitely be back to stay here!!

Very comfortable and quiet corner location condo on the top floor.
We stayed in the Kaufman condo for 5 nights. My husband and myself, along with our two adult age daughters. We had plenty of room in the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, filters, etc. etc. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was comfortable, and my daughters said the twin beds were also comfortable. There is a very nice view of the slopes and the coaster, and for me I really valued the quiet location on the top floor. I don't think I heard neighbors the whole time we were there. It is a true ski-in-ski-out building, and it was very easy to get on the slopes and ski down to the gondola. I would recommend the condo for your Steamboat Springs vacation!

Wonderful apartment in a perfect location
This apartment is great. It's on the top floor of it's building and has a corner location with great views down to the base and gondola. There is a ski locker on the first floor which means that it is very easy to take the elevator down, throw on your equipment and ski down to the gondola.
There's a gym/pool/hot tub located just across the way from the condo too. Storm Meadows also has a shuttle service that will take you to the gondola area throughout the day. Parking near the gondola is difficult so this is great.
We'd never been to Steamboat before. Great mountain. The resort is positioning itself for families. Buy an adult week lift pass and get an under 12 week lift pass for free. This is a bargain. Steamboat has lots of families and the resort and local restaurants cater to this demographic.
Renting this unit was easy. Information from the owner was clear and timely.
We had a great time. Very easy to recommend!

Nice and cozy apartment on the mountain
Nice and cozy ski in/out apartment with a corner balcony partially overlooking the ski slopes. Full kitchen (we cooked and ate in most mornings and evenings). Jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna across the parking lot and shuttle going to the village and town. Nice and responsive owners and reasonable price. What not to like?!

Steamboat Get Away!
The Kaufman condo is a great place to visit and enjoy the mountain. Good location with ski in/out access--just look out for the moose on the trail below! Cozy atmosphere, loved the wood burning fireplace. The club b property provides fantastic shuttle service to the mountain and town as needed. Can't speak to the kitchen or other amenities as we did not use them. Thanks go out to the Kaufman's for letting us enjoy their property.

Great location, well stocked kithcen
The location was great - true ski in - ski out. It was also great having a ski closet on the first floor of the building. There is a crockpot in this condo - which makes it so nice to come home to a good meal after a day of skiing. The condo was very clean. I had to work for a day and found no problems with the sifi. The beds were very comfortable. One suggestion - have a recycling bin. The first night, I called Cher with a question and she contacted me immediately. The table in the kitchen is big - which was a plus. Our 2 teenage boys could really spread out and do their homework in the evening.

Great Location for our Family
Our family of 6 (2 adults & 4 kids ages 8 and under) enjoyed staying at this condo. It was a great location for skiing and getting to the slopes. We also enjoyed watching the skiers on the slopes and the passengers on the rollercoaster.

The Kaufman Kondo is AMAZING! We had the best time, we were so comfortable and everything we could possibly need was there. The wood burning insert was an added bonus and the Storm Mountain Shuttle is super convenient. Would definitely make sure to stay there again! Loved the hot tub and pool too.
