The house is great in it’s comfort and location. The kitchen is quite nice and the fridge and dishwasher were great. My only complaint is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO hand soap or toilet paper provided for a home with 3 bathrooms and up to 6 people who could stay there. I believe this to likely be the decision of the property manager and not the owner, but come on guys, this is not a big expense for you and something very essential and simple to give your renters especially since I can tell a great deal of time and attention has been paid toward making the home a place you would want to be in. We would still like to return to the home and island at a later date, but we sincerely hope that the management can find it in their hearts to “spare a square”.

We’ve always stayed in houses, and this one is definitely one of the best of all. Everything is nice here, and obviously, they care enough to upgrade things as time and frequent guests do wear things out. The website should reflect these changes, such as a Keurig AND a drip coffee maker, so people can bring the right things. I stay in rental homes almost always when I travel, and I was surprised at the items that Jekyll Realty ‘give’ you as a welcome gift. Toilet paper? Dish soap? These items should be in the home already, not like it’s some big favor they are doing for you! Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

Really enjoyed my stay. Very nice and tranquil. Deer in backyard. Beautiful and would stay again. Hot water will scald if not careful. Extension cords in one of guest rooms may be a little sketchy.

We had a wonderful time at Jekyll Island. Everything was so nice and laid back. The house was perfect for us! There were three married couples, so we all had our own king size bed! 🤗 (A specific perk I was looking for when trying to find a place). We loved the house, the town, and the last morning the ladies went to Driftwood Beach to watch the sunrise… WOW!!! Just WOW!!! God is such an amazing artist!!! So much beauty on this planet we take for granted. Oh, and we also had some friends (Haci & Friend two sweet deer) come and visit us on the back patio. Such a fun and amazing time here with friends!!!

We very much enjoyed our week stay at 6 Bliss. Quite and comfortable with lots of room. Our three couples had privacy and yet ample room to gather together. Especially enjoyed the rooftop screened room.

We enjoyed staying here with our 3 dogs. Large showers, plentiful windows, and private setting. The boardwalk was washed out at the end of our road (this was disclosed in the listing stating beach access was at King St) and it was an easy walk 1 block over to the beach. Walking/biking path runs right by the house and covers most of the island. We loved our time on Jekyll and enjoyed our first VRBO experience with Jekyll Realty.

I enjoyed the beauty of the property and the quiet of the island in winter.

We had a wonderful time in the Hacienda. Loved the decor. The 3 king sized beds were very comfortable. Quality of the linen package was superb. New appliances. Great mid-island location.

This property is enjoyable inside, outside and even rooftop! You'll have an easy stroll to beach view boardwalk (usually tide too high to walk beach, but beautiful).

We loved our stay at La Hacienda. It’s a very charming home with all the amenities we needed. It was super clean upon arrival, the beds are comfy and the shower was great. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, the rooftop deck is cool and the grounds beautiful. Beach access is just one street over & there are handicap beach accesses at the public beach area. We loved our stay here!

I have an infant that is not walking yet. By the end of each day his clothes, hands and feet were filthy and it began the first day. We all took our shoes off each time we entered the house to help with the tracked in dirt. But I had to wash his hands each time I put him in the high chair to eat. It was kind of gross.

Although not as large as we imagined, the home was more than adequate and very friendly to those who enjoy nature up close and personal. The deer in yard were a nice touch, and yes, you could touch them! Although not directly on the beach, this home is about as close as anyone on Jekyll can be. A pleasant stroll to the beach, a scenic and comfortable bike ride to the club, or just a jaunt around the island, all are available to you from this home. Yes, we'll be back one day soon!

The interior was modern and user-friendly. Our only complaint was that there was limited dresser space for a family as well as cupboard space in the kitchen. The biggest setback for the property was that there is no covered carport or patio to store chairs, towels, golf clubs, and bikes when the weather changes. Overall, a very nice stay.

We were presently surprised with Hacienda and will request it on our next visit. The only thing lacking was access to a radio. I was familiar with the Island and the location of the house as expected was in a great central location. So happy we could bring our little dog.. Only downfall was it had roaches, dead and alive. Doors obviously not sealed well so even if spayed bugs could come in from over grown landscaping. We are from Fl so no stranger to bugs, might really turn someone off from northern climate. Think these issues easily corrected would make 5 star review .

It is a lovely home. The location on the island is perfect. The location to the beach is superb. We biked. We golfed. We "hung out" in the Hacienda. We sat in the lookout in the evenings. King Bedroom bathroom sink stopper inoperable. Also toilet not shutting off all the time, flapper worn. During storm Hermine, Queen Bedroom ceiling was leaking near closet. This area was stained before storm, has leaked previously. Door in King bedroom sitting room leading to front porch has 1/2" gap. Cockroaches and other insects were coming in at this gap. Almost every morning cockroaches were found on tile floors and showers. One dining room window pane is cracked, also cooking utensils and pans had grease and stains on, were definitely not checked by company cleaning the property before we rented Overall, this property we feel has not been maintained as nice as our previous 3 years here. I would recommend the property to others if the property was Given a little TLC and inspection for problems BEFORE each rental.
