You couldn't pick a better location. The cabin is close enough to the lake for convenience, but it's far enough away for a little more privacy. The views from the deck are spectacular. The cabin is clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be staying here again!

It’s a beautiful cabin with beautiful views from the balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee. It’s a great location and beautiful all around. Owners were very communicative and made the stay as comfortable for us as they could. I’m very happy with this cabin and will be staying here again in the future.

This cabin has pretty good views, the Hosts were helpful. The cabin has all necessary for the stays, and it’s pretty close to the Pinecrest Lake. The only thing is the maids need to improve on cleaning.

This place is perfectly located if you are skiing at Dodge. It is "Rustic" with limit service if it is snowing. Be prepared to take the stairs down to the main house. And the lower bedroom with the twin beds & Queen is cold! The wood stove helps, and they DVD collection is awesome! It is awesome to be able to park int he gargae when it is snowing.

The property was clean and comfortable with plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. We will book at this house again!

Weekend ski trip with friends with young kids. Great property with all the expected kitchen needs. No wifi but lots of board games, movies for what vacations are for: reconnecting with nature and loved ones.

We booked our mid-week trip with short notice (< 2 weeks). It was a nice escape with the kiddos. We designated the downstairs space the "kids zone" & it was perfect. There were lots of DVDs to choose from and a small selection of wii games (we didn't use the console as we brought our own Switch). There were Dish satellite boxes in the living room & downstairs bedroom, however we couldn't get any channels so we only used the televisions for gaming & DVDs. The play structure was a great fit for the 4 energetic boys we had in tow. Be aware that as a guest, you will need to bring your own body soap, shampoo/conditioner, & food storage containers. The property owner provided dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, & a small assortment of cleaning supplies; however there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels. We would definitely stay at the property again!

The home overall was nice, had a little something for everyone, games moves , shout out to those's who stayed before us Shame on you for taking the movies,..... lots of cook ware, fan in every room beds were comfortable lots of space outside huge family area to eat with bar stools, bikes for the kids and if you have a small child a pac- n play, was very happy at this home, owner very responsive to our calls. lots of extra bedding, however not needed for us the forecast was 87 every day Just enjoyed our stay, looking forward to booking again with them Thanks

Everything about this cabin was exactly what we needed. Quiet, comfortable, great amenities, and most of all our 5 year old was very happy. There's a pack'n'play for our 8 mo, and a great washer and dryer to keep the kids clothes fresh after outings at Leland Snowplay, Pinecrest, or the great playground on the property. Plenty of firewood and a cozy livingroom to relax. The view out on the deck or out the large windows is fantastic. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom, but there's plenty of room for 2 families to share the cabin. We'll definitely be back when we have another vacation planned. Also, there's not much near by for groceries, but Safeway and Walmart in Sonora are 30 minutes 1-way, away IF you happen to forget something... or need more wine.

We booked this house last-minute and all went smoothly. The check-in process was easy and the house was clean. I didn't realize there was no wi-fi when we booked, but we didn't miss the internet at all and we did have AT&T cell service. The only things to note that the house is kept very cold before check-in and the heat in the main room is not very powerful. So, the house was very cold for a while and the main room never really felt that warm during our stay. The bedrooms were warm enough though and we didn't spend much time in the main room. Overall, great location and very nice cabin for our short weekend getaway!

When we arrived it was about 8pm and the trash bins weren’t picked up so there was a flipped over bin with garbage all over the road (since I wasn’t going to pick up the garbage because that should’ve been taken care of a long time ago since garbage gets picked up on Monday or at least by whoever cleans the house should’ve seen that and it’s late) I did call the host and she did answer and apologized for it but we didn’t go anywhere on Saturday and I didn’t remember about the trash until I was walking up the stairs with 2 full hands And saw that someone so lovingly swept that trash on the top of the stairs. GREAT NEIGHBORS! Also, when I first walked in I inspected every room and the 2 on the main floor were ok no spider webs in the corners, poorly lit. Went downstairs and it looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while it was dusty and I get it spiders are a thing of the outdoors and I’m used to it but there was one hanging off of the shower curtain rod and using someone’s hair as a piece of their web. The upstairs bathroom is constantly running water and would not flush so 6 females had the privilege to use the downstairs bathroom. I tried to reach out to the host but VERIZON does not work there. I was able to call her on Friday night but on Saturday calls or text messages we’re not going through. Cable would go in and out. They do have a variety of movies and games which is fun even though we brought our own it’s a good option. The instructions that are given are great but a bit vague and something’s are questionable like I have to put the key back in the outside lockbox DURING my stay that’s just sketchy, so we kept them inside until we left. Also, if you didn’t use the bed to just leave the sheets on them that’s kind of weird because it makes me think anyone can say that they didn’t sleep in the bed and it wouldn’t be clean if they just leave it alone how would they know? Views are great but we got a house with 2 bathrooms for a reason and that was a major inconvenience.

This was just what we needed after the last few stressful months. We were able to just relax, watch movies, play games and enjoy the view on the deck. We went up to Pinecrest Lake a few times. Even with the water low, it was beautiful and we were able to do some paddle boarding. We got a little rain and even snow one day. We just curled up, drank hot chocolate and read books. Frank and Yelena were quick to respond to questions, easy to work with, and I really appreciate their flexibility with us. We've stayed here before and will come again.

First of all the location was wonderful. The owners were very friendly. The children saw a baby bear!!! Location from the lake and casino was perfect. The community was very relaxed. We have stayed at cabins in the past and the potential of this place is amazing but lacking. I'm glad we brought our own towels because there wasn't enough for everyone which was 9. The kitchen amenities were sparse. You could feel the dirt/dust on the carpet on entry. Sliding doors/screens and windows did not all work well. The water key instructions were not very clear. Mainly for me it was clean enough. But if what bothered me doesn't bother you.. this is great. Not sure I would rent this cabin again.
