6 adult women came to celebrate a milestone bday. Rental had plenty of comfy beds, walking to restaurants, shops, cliff walk and parking for all cars. Owner was responsive and gave spot on recommendations for food and activities.

The location was fantastic, allowing us to easily walk to downtown Newport. The property was clean and comfortable, making our stay very enjoyable. The owner was nice, accommodating, and very responsive. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would not hesitate to choose this place again for our next visit to Newport.

My siblings and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our moms birthday. Property was clean and very accessible to dining and shopping. We had a blast!

We had a great stay! We had a short walk to downtown Newport, but were right at the point where it wasn’t loud at night. The parking lot was very, very convenient (parking in Newport is tough) and a huge help for our group. The apartment fit us easily and the common areas feel very spacious. We had a great time!

Overall great location—easy walk or cheap Uber to bars and nightlife.

The location can’t be beat. Parking was convenient and it is close to the mansions. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the bar next door, but the condo itself was comfortable and well equipped. Owner was great with communication.

We had the best time here! The apartment looked just like it did in the listing and having the two bathrooms was perfect for all of the girls to get ready for the night out. The beds were SO comfortable. The owner was super helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and responded quickly and professionally. He also gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. This was the perfect spot for us to get to and from downtown easily. The big, private parking lot was also great because none of us had to worry about where to put our cars. We’re already thinking about coming back for our next girls trip!

Chris is a fantastic host. He was easy to get in touch with and had great recs on where to go. Parking was available right across the street (which is almost impossible to find). The location was perfect!!!

Love the free parking. It is a busy street but that's why we stayed in Newport for the nightlife!!!! and let me tell you this place was one of the better places I've stayed in. Loved every minute of it and the free parking was a hit. I would recommend to anyone!!!!

This property suited our family's need's perfectly. We loved how centrally located it was. It was clean and convenient. Just what we needed for our family of five.

The photos were totally accurate of this rental and was a good amount of space for this family of 3. We each had our own bedroom and comfy beds. Was a total plus to have 1.5 baths too. Was a fairly good location at the end of Thames St away from all the shopping and business just know there is a bar across the street that goes late with music but luckily the bedrooms are at the back of the apartment. This is a bare essentials unit, so be sure to bring your own shampoo/bar soap/DW detergent/cleaner, etc. We didnt realize it wasn't stocked like other VRBOs but popped down to the gas station store a block away and filled up. That being said, we were happy to stock up as this unit was HALF THE PRICE of others we looked at. Yes, it's not fancy but HALF THE PRICE people! The owner Chris was totally awesome in communication and helpful with places to eat and things to do. Bonus, there is a HUGE parking lot all to yourself to fit multiple cars. We loved walking everywhere to the shops, restaurants and mansions. When it rained we easily got an Uber. Highly recommend!

Pros: lots of beds, lots of parking, easy walk to everything downtown. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, mansions, and the cliff walk. Cons: the apartment is right across the street from a bar with a very active night scene, so if you want peace a quiet this might not be your spot. Either Sunday or Monday night of our stay a gentleman with a saxophone was kicked out of the bar across the street after midnight, and protested this fact by playing Careless Whisper under our window until the cops showed up. We found this very entertaining and hilarious, but understand others might not. The only other issue we had was with one of the toilets running occasionally after being flushed. But overall we had a great stay, it was exactly what we were looking for in terms of location, parking, and having beds for all of us.

Our host communicated early and provided a smooth check in! There’s plenty of room in the apartment and the location was very convenient to shops, restaurants and the mansions! Parking was also very convenient!

First, I will say that the property was clean, the owner was very easy to communicate with and the location was within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Also, having the parking spaces was a huge plus! The unit is across from a bar that has live music which you can hear in the apartment. Also the street noise itself can be loud. (If people are standing on the sidewalk talking, you can hear their conversation). There is nothing that can be done about this, just something renters should be aware of. The apartment itself could use be some improvements. The rug going up the stairs smells musty and looks dirty. Some hangers in the closets would be nice (each closet had only 2 or 3 wire hangers). The dresser drawers in the bedroom with the bunk beds fall out the minute you open them. The bedroom door doesn’t close unless you slam it. The doors all need some wd40 so they don’t squeak. Curtains in the bedrooms would help keep the sun out in the morning (sound blocking curtain May also help with the street noise).

This unit was listed as "recently remodeled". I would say it was recently "redecorated". Not at all unpleasant, just a little shabby. The WiFi is poor.

Disappointed in lack of cleanliness of property. Each bed had massive amounts of dust balls under each with one having a water bottle. I would suggest hand washing any dishware used

Overall, a good experience! Dealing with the owner was easy - he was very responsive to questions and inquiries. This property is just in the right location - Close to the action, but far enough away too. It was a quiet area. The parking spot is a major plus as parking is very difficult to come by. Although not really advertised, the property has 1 main bathroom and then a second room with just a toilet. There was plenty of space for 5 people. The air conditioning in all rooms, except 1 bedroom, was a plus - it can get hot in Newport. It is close to a nice coffee and pastry shop. There stairs up to the property can be a bit difficult for elderly guests. Only downside was that the WiFi did not work during our stay. But, there was strong cell phone signal. A nice property!

Very spacious and clean 2nd floor apartment. Very close to shops and restaurants - less than mile to the Red Parrot. . Convenient parking included. Hope to come back!

This place has such a great location right on Thames Street, with parking included - both aspects you just can't beat. The space was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were enough towels and cooking supplies for our group of 7. Overall, it was perfect for our stay and I'd recommend it to others going to Newport!

I was initially impressed with the pictures inside. No pictures of outside. Area OK but at end of Thames. Aside from bed sheet issue, house was clean.

This was our second visit to this property. We love the location and the fact that it's on the second floor. The owner is very helpful and responsive by phone or text.

Great Location, walking distance to everything (restaurants, mansions etc.) Convenient parking right next to the property which made our trip that much more enjoyable. Check in process was super easy and Chris, the property manager was amazingly friendly, helpful and always reachable. We truly enjoyed our stay. The property is very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely return soon.

Great stay! The place was large and roomy for a group of 8 friends from college with comfortable couches and a great TV. Great location and easy communication with the property manager. We’d definitely come back!

Excellent hosts, excellent place, excellent location. Every bed was super comfy, but especially LOVED the huuuge bunkbeds <3 My friends and I stayed last weekend for our postponed 2020 college graduation so we really appreciated the fifth ward location and ample parking. Would definitely stay there again!
