we loved the amount of bed rooms and bath rooms. beds could use updated were pretty uncomfortable. very nicely stocked for everything you would want for towels, pans, chairs, the outside grounds had so many sticker weeds that the kids and the two little dogs had several in their feet the kids sand with swing and the volleyball court. The house is very convent to the beach and the little stores in town. Overall great place

Having two houses gave our extended family plenty of room spread out. The teens and younger liked to hang out in the game room with the pool table and the video game machine. All of us gathered in the big house's theater for movie nights. We used the firepit in the yard for roasting hot dogs and smores. The dog loved running around the fenced yard. Our only complaint would be that the yard and the kid toys in the yard have run down since we were there two years ago. The swing set, tunnel and playhouse all need renovation, and the sand boxes, gardens and patio need to be weeded. Even so, this is our favorite place to stay in Ocean Park/Long Beach. Not only is there something for everyone to enjoy, but being able to walk to Jack's Country Store, restaurants and the beach makes it the perfect location!

A great place in a wonderful location. So much space and so many things to do! The kids loved the pool table, the ping pong table, and the standing video game. The dogs loved the short walk to the beach. And the grown-ups loved the well organized and well stocked kitchen as well as the ability to sneak away for an afternoon nap. Everyone was happy with the place and we are all hoping we'll make it back again.

The configuration of this property was perfect for our family group. The large fenced yard was great because we had two dogs and two small children. Most of the furnishings are a bit worn, for us that was fine. The downstairs queen bed in the guest house was noisy and uncomfortable. The kitchens were extremely well stocked. The hot water heater in the main house is very small, likely because of concerns about overloading the septic system. So showers and baths need to be staggered. The living room is small so it’s difficult to gather a large group in one place. Overall we were happy with the rental

Great group getaway!
This property was a great spot for our family to get away for a weekend, but would also be amazing for a much larger group.
It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The yard was perfect for letting our dogs get some energy out, and the playground was fun for the kids.
Our only complaint is that the property must struggle somewhat with ants. We were not leaving food out for any length of time, and yet found some in the kitchen.

When we walked it, we were very surprised on the house. It had everything we could need. The bed were very comfortable. It had all the dishes you would ever need. There was something for everyone at the house. We totaled 9 people and we still had beds to go.
We left to go to Tillamook and I forgot my purse outside on the table, I called the number and this very nice lady answered the phone. I told her what I did and she told me that she would go and put it in the house. She save our trip.
I would highly recommend this place for your next trip. We will be back.

What an awesome place!!
Loved staying so close to the beach - just a quick walk away. Couple of good food and coffee options around. And we cooked in this very well appointed kitchen. The folks really thought through everything that could be needed. Only suggestion would be to add a cover above the hot tub. Lovely week long stay.

Beach Retreat was comfortable and suited our party of 12 plus 3 dogs. We appreciated the bedrooms and enough beds to sleep everyone. The dining table was big enough for 10 and there was counter seating for the rest of us. It was nice to have a fireplace. The beach was a block away and easy to walk to. In summer, the outdoor space would have been awesome! We enjoyed our stay very much.

It is sometimes difficult to find a suitable place for all 9 adults and 5 kids to stay together. This filled the bill, and the large kitchen and dining area were great for us. We celebrated our family Xmas over Memorial Day Weekend this year and this pair of homes held us very well. The grandkids loved the "park" in the back yard as did the young adults. Us older members loved the decks for viewing all of the active fun. The beach is close and the town is close. Location is great! Bonus, the homes were very clean.

We enjoyed our stay and were pleased that there was everything we could ever need. Lots of space clean and attractive. A block from the grocery store, and on the beach access road. Restaurants and a coffee shop all around us, (2 right next door. We have no complaints. Happy to stay there again!!!

We had a wonderful stay at 1303 Beach Retreat! My parents stayed in the cottage and my husband and I along with our 2 young children stayed in the main house. There was plenty of room and the house is equipped with everything and more we needed for our 4 night stay. The kids loved the outdoor play area, and all the toys inside both homes. We chose to drive to the beach as it was chilly and challenging with kids although the walk is not far. There are shops close by and a wonderful little bakery/ice cream shop next store that was fun to visit. We would stay here again for sure next time we visit Long Beach!

Perfect COVID friendly beach getaway!
The managers were EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating when we had to shift our dates because of snow! The backyard and playground kept our kids and dog happy! Just steps from the beach, country store, coffee shop, etc. The house was well equipped and charming. We will definitely be back!

The home had at stench when we first walked in. My cousin is allergic to dogs and immediately noticed that their was a dog smell. I wish it was more announced that dogs stay at the property because that would’ve been a deal breaker, off the bat. We also noticed a lot of dog hairs. We had 4 babies under 2, so cleanliness was a priority for us but it wasn’t up to par.
