A great house in an amazing location! The house is bigger than expected, The back yard area huge. Loved being steps from the bay. Unfortunately, we were there during Hurricane Hillary so beach plans were canceled but had an amazing time playing board games and watching the storm roll in/out with no loss of power or any type of flooding.
Lots of room. Tons of space. Huge bedrooms. Easy parking. And oh, the bedding was top notch! Only negative was no pepper left in the spices container. Haha
We all decided we will book this spot again next time we want to reunite in San Diego.

Overall this place was great. You are a few steps to the sand of the bay and close walking distance to the ocean. It was nice not to have to jump in the car to go anywhere, everything was in walking distance. One thing I will say, the home needs some updating. The floors were very loud and creaky. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced, dining table was very sticky and unstable. The patio was great but would have loved it if there was a little fire pit to enjoy in the evenings. In general we really enjoyed our stay.

Although this rental met all our needs and was ultra clean, we were disappointed with the outdated kitchen and bathrooms. I feel using words such as "vintage" or "retro" to describe the kitchen and bathroom aesthetic would be appropriate. Also, the window screens were so old/rusted, we couldn't thoroughly enjoy the limited ocean view. On a more positive note we enjoyed the lovely and inviting side yard and the plentiful parking was teriffic.

Great property. Only a two houses from the beach, but no one walking by on the path staring in your front window. Really Ideal location.
Plenty of space for a family almost too much for. A couple. Only problem was the persistent odor from from the kitchen sink drain. No mount of vinegar, or lemon lice could wash out whatever in the drain.

We picked Crown Point house due to it's proximity to Mission Bay beach and four bedrooms. An old beach house nicely renovated and prepared for rental while maintaining some of the old charm of it's original style. Very clean house. Side yard is beautifully landscaped and makes for a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy. Property management was very responsive to any questions via text. We did leave some recommendations for improvement mostly due to the age of the property and were very minor. Main concerns were that we felt this is advertised as a beach property yet it does not include beach chairs/umbrella/beach toys/etc for visitors. Although there is plenty of parking available on the driveway, access is not permitted to the garage whereupon said beach supplies could be provided. The cost of this rental warrants nicer cookware. The pots/pans provided are bottom tier and too small for larger groups which was frustrating. These complaints are minor and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Large roomy 4 BR, 2 bath house only 3 doors from Mission Bay. Location was perfect for us as one of our sons, daughter-in-law and grandson live only a few blocks away and both of our grandchildren are less than 3. Yards in San Diego are very small in San Diego compared with what we are used to in upstate New York but this property has made maximum advantage of yard space it has. Besides the well maintained front yard there are 3 separate sunny or shady private gathering areas in the back yard. A real plus for a large group. Off street parking is ample which is important in San Diego. We would definitely consider renting this property for our next SanDiago visit.

The property was at an incredible location - basically beach front! It’s 1 story so was safe for the 4 young kids we had. Bluewater manages this and was extremely responsive. The pulley lock to the door broke and they came to fix it within a few hours.
Things to beware of - it’s an older house with old things. The timer on the oven doesn’t work. The heater is sooooo loud you can hear all the pipes in the house working at night. There was a bit of a smell upon entering and I don’t know if it went away or we just got use to it. Floors are really creaky etc so as a light sleeper I wasn’t able to sleep through the night any of this week without waking a couple of times a night -but everything was bearable and the location made up for it.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was extremely spacious and clean. The outdoor patio area was amazing to hang out at and take in the beautiful San Diego weather. Not to mention, the location was great - just steps from Mission Bay and less than 5 minute walk to both Mission and Pacific Beach! My family, friends and I truly enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to be back. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful and responsive during the weekend there.

Our family (3 adults, 1 adult child, 1 teenager), and my sister's family (2 adults, 1 adult child, 1 teenager) rented this amazing house for Thanksgiving week. My brother-in-law's family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) came to visit throughout the week and to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with us, and it never felt crowded.
Everyone raved at the location (a few yards from the bay beach and a few blocks from the ocean beach), the space, the amenities, everything.
The only minor complaints were about the wifi being a little slow (understandable with 9 people accessing it most of the time), the water pressure being a little low (mostly fixed by changing the shower head setting), and the ignition on the grill not working (fixed by using a small branch we found nearby). Nothing that we couldn't work around.
We had everything we needed to have a fun and successful week, and the welcome gift set that was focused on Thanksgiving was really nice, too.
Finally, the communication was great and responsive. We tried not to bother anyone, but when we did have a question, it was answered quickly.
Overall, we were thrilled at everything the property had to offer, and we will absolutely rent this house again the next time we vacation in San Diego!

The location was close to lots of restaurants within short driving distance. Just steps away from the paved path that surrounds Mission Bay where you can walk or bike. A children's playground was a short walk down the path. The home was spacious and clean with a nice view of the water from the living room. The neighborhood was quiet too. We would rent here again.

This is a great property, it is very spacious and because it is single story it is easy to spread out. The bay is steps away and it is so easy to pop out for a paddle and then come back for a snack.

Quiet and close to the Bay Stay
The home has ample room for 5-6 people. The location is excellent. The patio is nice and private and the BBQ is great. The bay is steps away and parking is perfect. Just a couple minor items would have made it better: It needs some beach chairs , umbrella, and bikes. The retro oven is cool, but the broiler does not work. We would probably stay there again.

Locations was convenient and close to the beach, coffee shops, restaurants, La Jolla, the Zoo ... Older well maintained home with character, in a good way, it's clean with tons of room. The only negative would be there are no seasonings, anything, so you have to have all that stuff but there is a coffee maker, kitchen basics, utensils etc. Very well maintained. Large side yard. My family's consensus is we would come back if in the area.

2 Families, One awesome Mid-Winter Break
This home is a wonderful location for all things San Diego. Close enough to walk to the sand bay without shoes, a short stroll to the ocean for surfing or ice cream and a short drive to the grocery shop or zoo and you can watch the fireworks from the bay. We were a full house with 4 adults and 5 kids; however, we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Great stay.

Fantastic Mission Bay Home
Stayed here with my family while in town for a conference. The location is absolutely amazing, steps away from the beach with nice outdoor areas and huge parking. Rooms were nicely sized and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very happy with our stay and would absolutely stay here again next time we are in San Diego!

Great Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The communication with the property management company was excellent and the house had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is amazing and the fenced yard was perfect for our young children to play when we were at the house.

Great location and parking
The location of the property is great and the parking area is even better. Being just steps from the bay and a few blocks from the ocean parking can be a problem, as I drove around the area I noticed many other rental properties with very limited parking we were able to fit our three vehicles easily (a small truck and two SUVs) . The only issue we had was trash pick up, the cans were nearly full when we arrived and weren't emptied until the day before we left otherwise it was a great experiance.

Beautiful Bay House :)
This property has a view of the Bay and a few blocks from the ocean. My family of my husband and 4 young girls enjoyed the home and outside areas in the front and back yards to play. They loved taking scooters on the bay and ocean boardwalks. We enjoyed the grill one night but it was dark when we used it at dinner time and there was no outdoor light. We believe the floodlight bulbs might need replacing. One time a few workers surprised us and came in the yard to cleanup leaves after a rain - we would have appreciated a heads up via text (as the property management communicated regularly) just because we have 4 young girls sometimes outside or left alone with the oldest to babysit. Checkout time was a bit early at 10am because it’s a big house to pickup after 5 nights with 6 people, so we think 11am would work better, if possible. (However we know Covid creates protocols). Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!
