Our family loved the little cottage, we saw several animals (rabbits and chipmunks) in the backyard. The beds were super comfy and the kids loved the games available in the dining/living room area. The only downside was the shower was super tiny otherwise we greatly enjoyed our stay!

We loved the house & the neighborhood - and the neighbors we shared the driveway with! Our dogs loved the house & the yard. We loved walking the dogs in the area & how close the house is to so many great places to dine. If planning a trip back to NJ again, I will check here first to see if the house is available. The cottage is cozy and comfortable. The hosts have labeled all the light switches and had very clear instructions upon arrival. The hosts communicated quickly and made our stay very enjoyable. We had a toddler with us and we had to rearrange a few items on the shelves. Also, the sharp knives were in a drawer close to the floor, so my granddaughter kept me on my toes. All in all, we had a lovely stay.

The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood near shopping etc. on Rt 71. Easy off street parking. The cottage was well equipped and clean. The fenced in back yard worked out well as I had my dog with me. The bed was very comfortable. Carole the owner was very responsive when I needed her assistance.

Really cool cozy cabin, great place to stay with friends or family. Great location, walkable to some very good restaurants. Fast internet FiOS and roomy living room and dining area. Full kitchen. Thank you, we had a great time.

Cozy and comfortable cabin. We had everything we needed and our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. We had plenty of space to hang out and play games. My dogs enjoyed the back yard and i greatly appreciated that it was fenced.

Had a great time at this location. My family and I enjoyed the nice neighborhood and everything in walking distance. My family enjoyed all the fishing locations we found and were close by. Recommend this nice and cozy place to everyone.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage. It was clean and quaint and cozy. It was very close for us to visit our grandsons. We were able to bring our dog with us and she thoroughly enjoyed the fenced-in yard. It was in a very nice and also quiet neighborhood.

Literally everything was near perfect. The house and yard were neat as a pin and the fully- functional kitchen was well-equipped in - case a visitor may have forgotten some staples.
Manasquan is a very pretty town and I love the Manasquan beach, which is five minutes from Kinvara. And such a nice community. I met super nice people in restaurants, at the beach, and especially the dog park, which is also five minutes away and always has people and dogs hanging out - at almost any time of day. Overall I had a great time, and the cottage contributed a great deal to a really nice vacation. Thanks, Carole!

My husband, our pups and myself stayed at the cottage and it was perfect for us. Having the backyard for the dogs was great. They did go to the beach daily and they loved it. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. We hosted dinner twice for our son, daughter in law, and baby as well as our son and his girlfriend from Long Island. There was plenty of room for the 6 adults. It was a great week at the cottage. Would love to stay there again!

Cute, interesting cottage set back from the street. Good indoor spaces but the one bath was REALLY small. Not as clean as I would like to see with dust and cobwebs on ceiling fans and shelves, floors not clean, windows and slider patio door were in disrepair and hard to operate. The bed pillows and mattress covers were stained. The yard had trash items and old dried dog poop .
Great location though next door to Spring Lake which is a gorgeous, exclusive town.

Needed to clean upon arrival, but most importantly no bugs! Location was great. The house looks exactly as it does in the pics. Cozy and comfortable stay for the week. Cleanliness was my only concern and I handled that as soon as we arrived.

Cute small cottage
Cottage was a little smaller than photos led me to believe and no real “door” closing off the one bedroom that leads to backyard, but for a short stay with no more than 3-4 people is good. Backyard was good for my dog. Definitely needs updating… shower is very small for anyone over 5 & 1/2 ft tall. Location was good, food market was close and could walk to coffee shop and a few dinner places

Hidden gem
My daughter and I stayed at this charming cottage while she attended surf camp. The place was perfect for our needs - cozy, clean, and conveniently located. The owner is also very responsive and helpful. So happy we found this place! Hood to be back next year.

Wonderful cottage
A great cottage which met all of our needs. Well-stocked, inventive use of space, private, and fun and creative in its decor. It was not within walking distance to the beach. Use stockton Lake boulevard to get to the Beach. Avoid driving on Main Street. Sea Girt is a great place for walking dogs. Food town supermarket on Sea Girt Ave was small but sufficient. Limited supply of veggies and fruit. Fratellos is a great restaurant a stone's throw away.

We loved our stay at the cottage in off season! Free street parking was easy to find on the weekdays. The dog beach was perfect for our pup! A lovely trip!

Peace
Coming back to the cottage was like coming home. It’s comfy, big enough to enjoy reading, relaxing, watching TV, etc, together or in solitude. No pressure to do this or that. Our pup loves the yard! Mother Nature didn’t cooperate beachwise, but since my hubbie grew up in the area we always have exploring to do. Thanks, Carole!

Quiet retreat
My wife, son, and I loved the cottage.. Beds are very comfortable and it is well appointed with a fun nautical theme. Neighborhood is pleasant, very walkable, and folks friendly. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Beaches are close. Very quiet at night.
Saw lots of rabbits, so if your dog, like ours, likes to chase critters, he/she will like it too. Fenced yard was a plus for us. Dog loved playing there.
The shower is quite small. We kept referring to it as the shower from “Elf”. We made it work though for the week we stayed. Oh, and if you are over 6’ tall, duck coming through the front door.😜
All in all we had a great time and would stay there again in the future.

Great cottage
Very well decorated made to feel like home! The outside was a mess not ready for our stay I had to clean up old fencing in order to get into the backyard. Sad to see in such disrepair!

Cute and cozy
This cottage is adorable. It’s tucked away and very private. As we were not there for the beach, the location was perfect. The beds were very comfy. The decor is whimsically nautical and although outdated and worn it is comfortable.
The sunroom is an added bonus and the backyard and front porch are private.
The bathroom definitely needs remodeling and the cobwebs overhead need attention.

wonderful authentic jersey shore cottage
We loved staying here - so charming, with it's own little front and back yards, with cotton tail bunnies coming out at dusk. It is in such a nice neighborhood, a busy neighborhood and yet it was so quiet that we could have been out in the woods somewhere. The cottage is welcoming and homey and full of a lifetime's collection of fascinating seashore collectibles. we truly enjoyed our stay. Our host was lovely, too.

Cute cottage, great location, could use some work
The location of the cottage was so great, right between Sea Girt & Manasquan. Area is very bike friendly, great bike path close by (Edgar Felix) or boardwalk biking is allowed early morning.
The cottage has a lot of potential but is generally outdated. Had to clean the place top to bottom to feel comfortable lounging inside.

Kinvara cottage
I stayed in this cottage for 3 months with my husband, 8-11 month old, and dog while working a contract at a local hospital. It was a great home away from home for us. It is located in a lovely area, close to trails, parks, and the beach as well as a super cute downtown area. It is stocked with all the basic amenities you would need.
In the colder months it can be a bit drafty and some of the appliances are a bit older, but all in all everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay. The host was also wonderful, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable.

Perfect Family Cottage Holiday
The cottage met all of our needs, including a DVD player so we could watch family videos that I haven’t seen in 15 years! It was a cozy place yet with lots of space for relaxing, reading, playing games (provided), cooking and watching movies/TV. I particularly delighted in the skylights, stained glass windows and wind chimes in the covered front porch. The beds were super comfy also. Excellent location! Highly recommend.

Loved it! Took our two MinPins. They loved it too. Nice quiet fenced in back yard. Adorable home. Very comfortable. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The sunroom was great for reading/relaxing. So happy we we stayed there. Hope to return in warmer weather!
