This is our second stay at this lovely Tahoe Donner property - we love it!

We really enjoyed staying at this property! It’s in a great location and convenient for everything in Truckee/Tahoe. We had a normal maintenance problem and Julie was quick to respond had someone out to the property to fix the problem ASAP. For winter, the driveway information in the posting is accurate and we appreciated the detailed instructions about the parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice cozy cabin nested in a good neighborhood yet connected with nature. The host is super responsive and helpful on anything that we needed during our stay.
We arrived and left between two snow storms so the kids were able to enjoy fresh powder and play in the front and back year. Cabin is well stocked with everything you need. A wood burning stove to keep warm and plenty of great views. Plenty of winter activities near by and a short drive from shops and restaurants.
Would defenitely come back.

Julie's cabin is perfect for a casual, relaxing and wonderful stay in the mountains. The cabin is well equipped to ensure a very comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the open floorplan, as some cooked others watched TV. We enjoyed great dinners at the family style table, wonderful walks along the golf course, and easy access to the greater Tahoe area. It was a wonderful family cabin.

At the same time, the neighborhood feels secluded and away from everything, a perfect combo. The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet, we had many great walks in the area. The backyard is a nice place to relax after a day of adventures.

As my title suggests that location was excellent. The house was wonderful. My only complaint was that the interior had multiple spiders and spiderwebs that we were having to kill constantly.

This is the third time our two families have stayed at Julie’s property in Tahoe Donner! We adore her house, it is so welcoming and clean, we were 3 adults and 5 kids ranging from 8 to 14 plus a dog! I had a question for Julie when we arrived and she got right back to me!
The house is great, we love cooking big dinners or playing games at the dining table w a fire, there’s plenty of wood! There are sleds which we usually just take out back and with so much snow this year we had some great snow showshoeing out the back door!

We had a lovely weekend stay on a trip to introduce our kids to skiing at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski resort.
The host was responsive and flexible. A later checkout time allowed us an extra day of skiing before we left (young kids, so a day = ~1 hour of skiing).
Our kids loved the bunk beds, as well as the selection of board games and card games available in the house.
The driveway is tricky in heavy snow, so you’ll definitely want AWD and appropriate tires (as required in the agreement). The upside is that our kids got a bit of sledding in on the driveway.
We’d definitely stay here again. (And Tahoe Donner Downhill is a lovely place for new skiers.)

This is a very cute and cozy cabin. The wood stove is really great in the winter and helps heat the house nicely. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The street was nice and quiet, and great for walking the dog. My kids had a ball trudging through the (insanely deep!) snow and finding sledding hills. We appreciated the games, the wifi worked great and the TV had a lot of options. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back again!

Julie’s property was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We visit Donner at least once per year and this cabin was our favorite. The cabin is well equipped with all the comforts of home. The games and books were a nice addition. Our family enjoyed a relaxing stay. Julie is communicative, available and responsive. We hope to visit again. Thank you Julie!

We really enjoyed the property and location! Only thing I could recommend is to bring a portable fan or 2. We were there in July and it gets stuffy at night.

Fantastic Snow Getaway!
We had a wonderful time with our family of 5 and 2 dogs! It was such a great house, with plenty of space and different hang out spots for everyone to spread out.
We enjoyed that it sat on a golf course (which was covered in snow). It was safe for our children and dogs to play in the backyard area and near the front of the house. We were lucky to get plenty of snow for building snowmen and for sledding.
The driveway as easy to access with our minivan and the convenience of garage access was so nice!

Sweet Spot
A wonderful cabin on a great quiet street in Tahoe Donner. Our small group was so comfortable there and we had a wonderful visit. Setup of the cabin is great where we all had enough space and yet it's very cozy. Loved the sun in the front and back decks through out the day. The boys played video games in the loft while the we watched the great TV in the evening. Location is so nice, with a quick drive to the lake or the store. very good flow to the home and we felt so nice and relaxed, we hope to visit again soon, thank you!

Great rental house on a perfect Tahoe Donner street
This house was the perfect layout for a family with kids, with comfortable bedrooms, plenty of seating and TVs and games. The open space behind the house was great for sledding and building a snowman. We had a great time!

Winter weekend
Cabin is in a great location for Tahoe Donner. Lots of open space for kids to play outside in the snow. Close to many ski resorts. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. House was clean and as advertised. Check in and out process couldn’t be easier. Great communication from owner. Overall great experience.
