I love the location, best of both worlds with the Bay in the back yard and the Gulf in the front.

The beach house was not very clean, even wondered if the linens were cleaned. The beds were very used and uncomfortable, could use new mattresses. I realize it is very humid but there was a lot of mold around the air vents

The space was good and the location was fantastic. Access to the beach was right across the street and the views were phenomenal on both sides of the property.

The house was filthy and there were roaches in the house (dead and dying) when we got there. There were patches on the walls and the trim was really scuffed up. The exterior doors didn't shut properly and had gaps to the outside. The vents had mold around them. Overall it just felt dirty and neglected. When we reached out to the management company, multiple times, they did send over cleaners the next day, but then we felt like we had leave the house to accommodate them. They did give us a price adjustment which was appreciated, but the lack of forethought and proactivity with this company was ridiculous For example, the notice that trash had to go out to the curb on Tuesday or you could be fined. After I was unable to locate the curbside trash can, I found out, not from the manager who I couldn't get to return calls, but from a maintenance worker, that this property had the trash container picked up directly by the city - apparently they own the property. The dirtiness, the poor condition of the property and how poorly the house was equipped (e.g. 1 set of dish towels, no trash bags) I spent the first three days of my trip leaving messages and having to go up the ranks to get the issues resolved.
