The place was really close to the beach. Access to the apartment was nice. Some of the items were dated. We had a ceiling fan that didn't work but the owners had box fans, so that helped a lot. Living room was missing curtains so it was hard to see the TV. The arrangement of the room was great for our crew. Wish the kitchen and bathrooms had more towels.

Emerald by the Sea is very convenient to everything we wanted to do. In addition it was an easy drive to Moody Gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially William. Parking was free and convenient. View from our 8th floor balcony was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was very inviting and warm. The view from the balcony is much better in person, than the pictures. I kinda liked having a view of the city on one side and the beach on the other. My only complaint was the sliding door to the balcony. It was hard to open. Other than that, the pool was was simply amazing. Everything is close by. I liked having the security in and around the building. I will definitely find my way back here.

The property was in a good location and the amenities were great. The condo itself needs some attention, particularly the door to the balcony and the railing. I was with my young children and the railing was broken in places which made us nervous. The door was extremely hard to close. The condo needed more towels. There were no wash clothes or face towels. I would definitely stay there again though.

Just Adequate, but clean
Unit and building were very clean. Parking was easy and the pool was very nice. The reasons I did not care for it were that 75% of the view is horrible, railing was zip tied together, the rules were a bit uptight, and no windows were designed to be opened. The only sliding door was difficult to open and had no screen. Also, between the large scale ,miss matched furniture and the 1000 random things hung on every space of wall….it felt claustrophobic and haphazardly put together. But again, everything was clean and comfortable.

Weekend Stay in Galveston
This condo is at the Emerald by the Sea condominium on the Far East end of the island on Sea Wall. Several restaurants, fast food nearby, and Walgreens next door. Beach is directly across the street. Amenities were great. The heated pool, giant hot tub, outdoor grills, and the game room was all fun. This room has a wrap around deck with a combo view of the gulf to the east and south and of the city to the north and west. The condo was spacious, with plenty of bed rooms and bathrooms. Black out shades on the windows would be preferred but understand they aren’t always an option. Wrist bands were required when in the commons area and pool. If they didn’t recognize you and couldn’t see your wristband the front desk attendant would ask about it. No big deal. Nick and Patty were very nice and great help with getting checked in and helping get the grill going for us on a windy and rainy night. Although we may choose a house next time, this will definitely be our spot if we want to rent a condo, we would stay here again!

Comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Everyone in our family enjoyed it and the sunrise views are gorgeous. We stayed for Thanksgiving and the host even left an aluminum roasting pan for us. Wonderful accommodation.

Good for a short trip
First time renting a condo. There was enough space for our family of four. The room with the day bed felt a little bit cramp. The place was overall clean despite some missed spots (kitchen counters not wiped down and dirty dishes in the dishwasher). Enjoyed the view from the balcony, close proximity to the stores, restaurants & beach. The pool and hot tub was enjoyable with a majestic view of the sunset. The downfall is the “bracelet” that’s required to be worn since we’re vacation renters, so the permanent residents knew who we were. Even though we have access to the amenities on the 6th floor, we were restricted to use the gym. It was only available to us on the weekends (seems a bit odd). VACASA staff was very communicative during the rain storm; brought in patio furniture due to the winds and provided extra items that we needed (big thanks to William). We enjoyed our stay for the time being but would be reluctant to rent a condo in the future due to the rules & regulations.

We had a great time. The view was fabulous and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Condo was well appointed with appliances, beach chairs and towels, even a high chair and portable crib if you have a little one. The amenities floor and pool was also great. Highly recommend, will stay again.

Great condo, great location
The condo facility is super. 6th floor pool, common area, game room, movie theater - all top notch and well done. My teenage kids had a great time playing pool and watching movies when we were not at the beach. Location is great, walking distance to the beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for rent. Close to the Strand for a nice dinner out as well. The unit itself was nice and clean, a lot of furniture so it felt a little cramped but worked just fine for us. The balcony had a broken rail so we were not able to sit out and enjoy the views in the evening.

Before school beach break
The condo was listed as sleeping 8, but it only has beds for 6. The building is nice, but not renter friendly. We had limited access to amenities, and were required to wear paper wristbands at all times. It's across the street from Stewart Beach, which was convenient, however, it was a 20 minute walk. The balcony was fabulous.

Nice stay
The property is nice with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and small living space. The wrap around porch overlooks the beach on one side and industrial on the other side. Bring your own toiletries (the ones you’re given are small), coffee pods, and laundry detergent. The kids loved the WiFi and the cable tv. The pool was amazing! It’s heated and the hot tub is huge.

Nice condo
The condo was very nice and very well stocked. We had more than enough towels and there were even beach towels for our use. The only complaints are the WiFi password was incorrect and no one ever contacted us to correct it, and the pool was out of service for renovations. The gym, however; was very well equipped. The price was very reasonable for a 3 bedroom condo.

Our apartment was a 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, full kitchen. We had an eastern and northern view out of our living room/kitchen. But the windows were large enough that we also had a view of the gulf. We had visitors during our 2-month stay and the 3 bedrooms worked out perfectly for us. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-maintained. I couldn't be more pleased with our accommodations and our experience with VACASA and Emerald by the Sea!

Great Family Getaway!
It was my Families 1st time down to this part of the Gulf Coast. The Condo had everything we needed and more, including a play pen for my 9 mo old that we used as make shift crib. Room for everyone( Party of 6) and the pool was amazing, certainly the best feature of this resort. Resort is right across from the beach and you could walk the block and a 1/2 to stick your toes in the water. Plenty of restaurants close by and we were always only minutes from the Historic districts and shops or the Sea Wall dining and entertainment. Parking Garage felt very secure. On the minus sides, we ran out of Garbage bags and laundry detergent but these were minor issues. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Emerald Resort is a beautiful property.
The condo we rented there was very nice. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. The property manager, Vacasa, was very efficient, sending me emails ahead of time and giving me all the information we needed to check in, stay and check out easily. the sixth floor lobby and pool and common area were amazing - like a 5 star hotel. The WI-FI in our condo didn't always work, but that was the only complaint. Every thing else was great. We will surely come back to this same condo.

Emerald By The Sea is a gorgeous property.
The condo was big enough and comfortable enough for our family of 8. The bed arrangement didn't turn out to be quite as described (Q w/ twin trundle in one bedroom and full bed w/ twin trundle in other bedroom). It looked like a twin bed w/ twin trundle in one bedroom and a full with a pallet in other bedroom, so one of the kids slept on the couch. The condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. We really liked the views from the balcony, and the 6th floor pool and common area was amazingly beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay there. We definitely want to rent this condo again.
