We had trouble getting code to work when we arrived, but owner was easy to contact and it was quickly taken care of. The patio facing the street is nice and large. A lot of furniture to sit on, but the patio lounge furniture didn't have any cushions, which would have been nice to have. Living area is nice and large; plenty of room for our family and for baby to play on floor. 2 of the bedrooms were smaller than I imagined, but they worked fine. Beds very comfortable. Nice walking distance to restaurants. Would stay here again.

The property was as advertised. Very comfortable and clean. Had all the kitchen gear we needed. The renovated great room was a great place for family gatherings and had a nice TV. 2 minute walk to the center of Tahoe City. Couldn’t ask for a better location. All around a great stay!

Positives: Lots of sleeping space, kitchen has everything you need, plenty of beach chairs/towels, spacious living room, great deck, walkable to Tahoe City, fully fenced (dirt) yard good for dogs. Also appreciated the washer/dryer, and all the general supplies they had available to us (detergent, baggies, coffee pods, etc). All these things are 5*.
Areas to improve: Place is pet friendly (which was great bc we have 2 dogs), but the space was NOT adequately cleaned. The backyard was full of dog poop when we arrived, and my husband instantly had a bad allergic reaction in the king bedroom due to cat dander (seems like a cat had lived in that room and the carpet needs to be redone - the king room is the only room with carpet - this has never happened to him before btw, a reaction without a cat being present). The mud room to the backyard was filthy (kitty litter all over the floor, cobwebs etc). They were not done cleaning when we arrived for check-in (they left at 4:05pm ish) so maybe they just cut the cleaning short, but the messes in those areas seemed longterm. The kitchen, living room, bathrooms were all very clean, but because of the other areas, we’d say 2* for cleaning. Was an expensive rental, so I’d expect these things to be a non-issue.

This property is located walking distance from shopping, restaurants and the lake. We love the property because it allows for family groups to gather in a great family space, sit by the fireplace, have game night and much more. We were able to bring our labradoodle along as well, which was one of the main reasons we picked this property.

We had a fabulous time! House has everything for you! The fenced yard makes it safe for pets and or kids if you have young ones. Perfectly located to Tahoe city shops and restaurants.
We had to go to urgent care( sadly) but it was only 1 minute away thankfully!
The walls are a bit thin, but other than that it’s awesome!
We will be back for sure. Checkin and checkout were super easy.

We had a nice Christmas vacation here and loved the location. House was perfect for us, it has two family rooms with a big dining room to fit us all. We would certainly come back to this cozy place in the mountains. Host very easy to work with, communication was great, house was well stocked and good working order!

We were in Lake Tahoe for our sons wedding, so it was very important to make sure everything went smoothly since we were already stressed! The hosts were amazing, very accomodating to our requests and quick to reply. The house was very well stocked with everything needed and more for an away at home stay. The location was ideal - walkable to the lake and groceries and restaurants. Our family and dogs had a great trip!

Great place, walkable to Tahoe city. The house was supplied very well. Did not have to find a store for basic items. Clean with comfortable beds. Be aware that there are stairs in the entry way if that is a problem for you. Would stay here again for sure!

Great stay with minor exceptions.
1. Unpleasant musty/mildewy odor at rear bedrooms & living room.
2. Garbage instructions didnt mention that garbage truck comes early. We had to run to catch them. Also no blue bag for recycling.
3. Bedrooms and hallway stairs could use night lights.

We loved our time at the adorable bear themed cabin. The location was great and just what we wanted, walking distance to the charming village, activities and supermarket. Having the 2 entertainment centers added so much to our family's enjoyment. The weather was perfect which contributed to the pleasure of our family vacation.

Stayed with several family members for a wedding in Tahoma. Rental was spacious and beds comfortable. Location was walking distance to Tahoe City lake front, park lakefront path, restaurants and groceries. Easy ride to Truckee, Emerald Bay and Olympic Village.
Only minor recommendation would be to provide renters with type of coffee maker or one mornings package of coffee and dish sponge. Would also have a print out of any house rules and check out procedures.
Would definitely rent again.
P.S. Had difficulty with VRBO messaging feature a couple of times. This is not a reflection on owner. But VRBO should address. It could be a major issue if there was any type of emergency and the renter was unable to contact the owner.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The furnishings and decor are warm and inviting. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked with linens and toiletries. The kitchen has everything you need. The washer and dryer are modern and clean. We chose the perfect house for our family and friends to stop by during our daughter’s wedding weekend.

This is a perfect place for a family. Aside from an ideal location (close to beach, shops, and restaurants), the house had so much room. There were ample beds and space for everyone. Overall a great place to stay in Tahoe!
The house was close to town and the lake, and only 10 minutes to the mountain. The living /dining area was perfect for gathering. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen amenities were great, and check-in was easy. There were some lighting issues - switches not working - but the owner was responsive and apologetic. We would have liked better communication around check-out, but overall this was an awesome place for a family ski vacation! We'd come back for sure.

Amazing house in an amazing location!
I highly recommend this property. The whole process was easy and efficient. The house is in a fantastic location, close to the ski resorts but also close to downtown. The house itself has a lovely living area to hang out in, along with a large, fully stocked kitchen to cook in. The dining area was also a great area to enjoy our dinners. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. I cannot wait to stay again!

We stayed at Michael’s property for a week during the recent winter break. The property was well appointed, clean, and convenient to downtown and to Alpine/Olympic Village. The layout worked great for us with 2 families with tween/teens. Thanks for a great experience.

Wonderful place for family trip
We have stayed in a lot of rental homes around Lake Tahoe and this was one of our favorites. The location was perfect, quiet street but a short easy walk to Safeway, marina, restaurants and beach. The house was perfect for traveling with kids, all the bedrooms are on one floor and there is a second family room with tons of games at the back of the house, that leads to a sizable fenced backyard. The home also had every kitchen appliance and cookware item you could ever need. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Hope to be back!

This is a great place to stay! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a great week in Tahoe. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make dinner in the evenings and there were several boardgames in the back of the house. The hosts were also quick to respond to our questions.

We were two families staying at the house and it was very clean and a perfect location to walk to Tahoe City/beach/rafting. The kids enjoyed the back living room while the adults enjoyed the main living room in the front. Nice Tahoe cabin feel! The owners were super easy to connect with and overall we had a great time! Great house, great location!
This was our second time staying at this wonderful house. It fit our families well, the kids loved the bunk beds! It's in a great location, close to groceries and restaurants, the Tahoe City Winter Sports Park and Granlibakken.
