La nostra casa è solo quattro case da The Village, che è meno di una passeggiata di 100 yard e una breve passeggiata facile, sui marciapiedi, al lago, Rotary Park e Pine Knot Marina! Anche la National Forest è proprio sulla strada per un facile accesso ai sentieri escursionistici.
CHE AMERAI:
L'intero interno della cabina è aggiornato e nuovo di zecca, compresi il tappeto e il pavimento! Accogliente fino al camino a legna quando il tempo freddo fa una visita. Un barbecue Weber Propane si trova sul grande ponte posteriore. Grandi alberi di pino offrono un grande spazio per il pisolino dell'amaca. Ampio Front Porch spazioso. Questa casa è pulita come non mai. Un sacco di parcheggio carrabile, compreso il parcheggio in barca. Cucciolo amichevole.

This cabin was perfect for our visit to Big Bear Lake! We traveled with our two kids and two grandkids (4 & 2). Everything was exactly as described and the property was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well stocked, There are two bathrooms, both with bathtub/shower combinations. The living room is spacious and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We especially loved spending time on the large front porch, enjoying the beautiful scenery and peace and quiet! The owner, Laura, was very easy to communicate with and made our trip worry free! The location of this property is exceptional! We were able to walk to the village in minutes. We enjoyed the restaurants, shops, and lake. Another trip to Big Bear would definitely include this property again. Thank you, Laura, for your hospitality!

Our family of 5 with 3 teen boys and our fur baby loved our annual Big Bear trip this year. The Rustic Cove/The Bacon House, was just as pictured. Beautifully updated and decorated. This family home is rich with history which the family shares with the guests. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and had fluffy towels. The house is not huge but it is well laid out and our family found it was fine and worth the coziness in order to be so close to the town. You can see the lights of the lit up Christmas trees from the living room and it was so nice to be able to just walk to town which is about a block. We will definitely be back! The home was very clean, nicely furnished, a very short walk to the Village, and stocked with nearly everything you could need! We needed a break from weeks of 115°+ weather in the desert and this was a perfect getaway. As with almost all mountain homes, there is no A/C, but there are fans in every room (plus extras in the cabinets) so with a little attention to closing drapes and windows at midday the house stayed very comfortable. Laura and Ken could not have been better hosts! We have already referred others to this gem, and we will definitely be back!

Just a wonderful wonderful stay at the “Bacon house”. Celebrated my wife’s BD and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and the paddlewheel boat was such a plus. We would definitely stay again if Laura would have us! Can’t say enough positive things, future vacationers will NOT be disappointed!!

We had an amazing time at the Rustic Cove in Big Bear! The House is adorable with all the amenities one might need! Super close to the Village too! We enjoyed our family time with our daughter home from college and the bonus was the snow fall! We will definitely be back to stay here again!

This is a great cabin for a small family with children. The location is great and can walk to village or to play in snow. Parking is great. Kitchen is fully equipped with anything that you’d need to cook a large dinner. Having a washer and dryer is also helpful. We have stayed here many times and likely will again.

Memorial Day Weekend Memories!
This house was absolutely fantastic. Super clean, remodeled with amazing attention to detail. Well-appointed with everything a rental house should have and more (even a cute cocoa bar). Lovely decor, beautiful porch, great for drinking wine and relaxing after a long hike. The location of this property was perfect! Literally a 2 min walk to the main village with restaurants, shopping and more. The owner Laura, was lovely and kept in touch with me a few times prior to arrival, she offered some ideas for things to do in Big Bear as well as a link to the history of the house. Highly recommend Rustic Cove house, and looking forward to returning soon!

Wonderful little cabin
We stayed for our second year in a row. We come to Big Bear every winter. We loved our stay last year so decided to stay again this year. We will stay here again in the future! So close to the village and the cabin is so cozy. Plenty of room for the six of us but still enough room to spread out a bit.

We had a lovely stay over New Years Weekend. We had our dogs with us and we were very comfortable. Just steps to the village and sledding right up the street. Definitely enjoyed all of the comforts of home.

Hidden Gem near the Village!
My friends and I have been coming to Big Bear the past 10 years for the Oktoberfest festivities. As a result, we’ve stayed in many rental properties. I must say, this was one of if not the best ones we’ve stayed at! The location was awesome, so close to the Village. It made it extremely convenient if you wanted to grab a bite to eat, since the Village was a few steps away. The cabin itself was perfect for our group. It was clean and all the necessities you need for a comfortable stay was provided. You can tell a lot of love was poured into this house. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome front porch surrounded by tall pines and lush landscape.
Fully stocked kitchen with coffee, cream and sugar, and spices!
We were treated to gourmet pastries, and, there was hot chocolate on hand for the kids.
The house is steps away from "the Village" but in a quiet residential setting with trees full of beautiful birds outside every window.
Plenty of on property parking.
The home is well stocked with EVERYTHING!

Very clean property and great location
We had such a great time In Big Bear. The house is super cheap exactly as it was represented and described. Distance to town is perfect. Just a block or so and you’re right in the main part. With Covid we chose to cook every meal and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Instructions and notices from the owner were organized and precise. Great stay! Very happy.
