The house had a great view over the lake. It was super clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We were able to park several cars and a truck and trailer in the driveway. It was a little tricky to find the driveway, but the owner sent very detailed instructions and we found it right away!

Very pleasant stay; our host had everything ready and lined out ahead of time. Property was as described, clean and perfect for our weekend getaway! It's close to everything in Hot Springs, but far enough away as well, situated on the lake with a nice view and relaxing atmosphere.

The home was roomy and perfect size for our group of 7 adults 2 children. It was very clean and it is a beautiful spot on the lake. We loved it and will be back

The home was amazing!!! Very clean and well kept. Gorgeous home with a gorgeous view. Very quiet peaceful is the lovely home and the owners were quick with the response. Make sure we had everything that we needed. Make sure that our state was comfortable. It was amazing. I loved it. I’ll recommend it to anybody is a wonderful place to stay

House was good, met up with friend from college snd had plenty of space for our two families. Communication with Rachel was great prior to and during the stay and she was able to accommodate a couple last minute requests from us, which were greatly appreciated.

Comfortable beds with nice linens, well-stocked kitchen, nice view & sunsets. However, there’s a long slope down to the water with 76 stairs and another 30 feet of stepping stones. The slope near the lake has a lot of broken brick that is a terrible hazard for children. There is no beach area and deep water off the very small dock. The house is old with lots of cracks in the walls, no bathroom vents and musty smells. AC vents, ceiling fans were very dirty and the stovetop needs a good cleaning. There were dead bugs stuck to a greasy light above the stove. Owner needs a better cleaning service.

We enjoyed our girls getaway here with lake access and a very spacious kitchen! We brought our own pool floats and had a lot of fun down on the water. The amenities were a little sparse compared to other VRBOs we've stayed at (e.g. no soaps in the showers), but the beds and furniture were comfortable and inviting. Rachel was kind and helpful and the lake view was lovely! We are pleased with our stay.

We had a good stay at this home. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by the owner. The inside of the home is nicer than the outside of it. The outside wasn’t bad, just dated and could use a little TLC. The location was convenient and being on the lake was great!

What a great find! We would certainly stay here again. Great location and great home. The family room was large enough for 12 or more. The home was clean and more than met the needs for our family reunion weekend. There is plenty of parking!

Owners were very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. We extended our stay by an extra night because we were having so much fun. The weather was cold and windy but we were still able to enjoy the porch some (thanks for having blankets to cuddle under) and the kids tried fishing a bit. We enjoyed diamond and crystal mining, both about an hour away, and many fun things in Hot Springs. The house was perfect for our family with three kids plus my parents. The two living areas allowed us to spread out and be together as we wished. Definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for Families
We loved our stay here! The view of the lake is expansive, and we loved having breakfast with water views. We enjoyed the yard, which is large and perfect for kids. Every night, we had dinner on the patio and then watched the sunset.
The deck right on the water was great for hanging out, and you get the best sunset views there. You can also fish from the dock or just enjoy being near the lake.
We stayed here with two families (four kids total), and we were comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

Sat out on the dock and fished at sunset. Unreal view. Great kitchen as we were able to cook a couple great dinners. Location very close to many fun areas

Fun in Hot Springs
Very nice location and the house was good. Missed the ice maker and had to purchase an HDMI cord to watch the TV. Unnecessary expenses. Kitchen/lv areas comfortable and large. Kitchen well stocked. Great lake view and lovely decks, patios.

House was nice the outside property not that great.
The only think we had a problem was the TV, I called the host serval times never call me back. We had to down load Comcastchrome on cell phone to be able to watch the Razorback game, not happy with the results from no call back from host.

Well-stocked kitchen. Quiet neighbors. Great location close to a grocery store & restaurants. Good communication with the host. Fishing from the dock. Lovely long weekend with friends.

the house is big exactly what I was looking for for my family's stay but in fact upon arrival the house had a bad smell apart from the beds not very clean the toilet paper was used and stained with blood the blender very dirty the edges of the beds full of dust but then we were already in the place we only had to clean and try to make amends for the time apart the air does not work well very hot the house at night outside very dirty the porch

Relaxing location with Terrific Owners
We had a wonderful few days relaxing in the house. It had everything we needed and the owners communicated so effectively with us. No surprises at all with friendly neighbors on the left side. We’d rent it again.

We had a blast!
Great home! My family loved the stay. Beautiful sunsets were amazing! We parked our boat by the owners dock but wished it could of been in the covered area because it rained like crazy but unfortunately the owners boat was docked there also. Don’t forget your cover like we did! Was a very steep walk to the dock also but we all needed a work out anyway! Great house to bring the whole family too. Will come back again!

Fathers Day family get away
We enjoyed our time on Lake Hamilton staying in this property. The view of the lake and sunsets are amazing. The house was clean and adequately stocked of the basics. A grocery store is only a quick 5 minute drive away. The property mgr was great at responding to our questions or needs. It is a steep incline down to the boat dock but that’s common. We had to be very aware of our footing on the stairs going off the patio bc of the cellar door and some of the stairs to the lake do not have a railing. The patio offers a great space for entertainment and sunset views. We are already planning our trip for next year.

Great little house on the lake, It was as described, and lovely for the few days we were there. The yard guys came super early the day we were leaving but no biggie.

Great Lake House
The lake house was in a great location. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the restaurants on route 7 and only 15 minutes to historic Hot Springs. Great lake views from the kitchen, living areas and patio. We enjoyed just hanging out and swimming at the boat dock. Much of the lake is surrounded by mountains so the house is built on a hill. It's a steep incline to the lake but only about a 30 yard walk. I would definitely go back.

Amazing lake house near Hot Springs!
Our family of 5 had an amazing stay on Lake Hamilton. The home was spotless and very well-maintained. Gorgeous yard with a wonderful lakeside deck - the pictures seriously didn’t do justice to the view. Owners were easy to communicate with. Kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of space with this property. Would highly recommend if looking for a lakefront property near Hot Springs.

Spacious, clean, updated and comfy
Our group of 5 middle-aged women (58-73 yrs) had a great time at this property but be aware of the sharp drop to the lake!
The nice open-format with a large granite counter was a perfect place to sit and chat, have meals, and play games.
The bedrooms were nice-sized with just the necessities. All the beds were comfortable and the linens were cottony and fresh. Every room had a good ceiling fan.
The bathrooms were very clean. The towels were cushy and felt newish, not worn-out and thin. Liquid soap for the sink was provided, but we would have liked soap for the showers. Also, no grab bars or shower mat for the very slick tub.
The kitchen was well-appointed with plasticware of all kinds (tupperware!), very nice wine glasses, nice sturdy dishes, and diverse cookware. Because we cook, we wished for more mixing bowls, foil (none), saran wrap (none), and salt/pepper (very little). Very nice Weber charcoal grill with chimney and grilling tools.
The porch and outdoor furniture was lovely. We had one meal at the great 6-chair table out there.
We agree with a prior review that the pictures posted do not clearly show the SHARP DROP between the house and the lake. There is a railing provided, but the paver steps going down do not provide a 100% reliable, safe path. Some were wobbly, covered by grass/algae, and not all level. IMHO for full-disclosure and clarity, the owner should post a picture from the lower deck looking up to the house so that you see this path and know what you're getting in to. I'm sure this may be less a big deal for younger groups, but it would have been nice to be more clear in advance.
Overall a very nice house and a wonderful stay.

Family had a great time. Home had an inviting atmosphere with plenty of space. View of the lake was spectacular.

Good Stay, but poor ending
After we arrived home, we had an email notification that we would not receive our deposit back due to excessive smoke smell in the rental property and that we had left the rental home after the check-out time. I would not blame the owners if this were true. We have no smokers in our family at all, so it is impossible to have left the house with a smoke smell. We left the house at 10:15 a.m. sharp and check out is at 11:00 a.m. There are cameras, so an explanation may be that the camera time settings had not been changed for Daylight Savings, just a thought. There may be explanations for why the owners believe these two things, but I have no contact information to be able to discuss with the owners. I am highly disappointed in the false accusations and the deposit not being returned.

It's a nice house and served it's purpose I guess.
If you want to watch TV forget it unless you're a techiegeek!! Too bad if there's anything you want to watch or keep up with the news. So that was bad news. Too bad because they have2 really nice TV's
The pictures you see of the lake are VERY deceptive...it's a long ways DOWN to the lake, and at least a 40 degrees bank, steps are treacherous.
And much farther coming back up.
If you are over 60 and even a little out of shape...forget it, kids OK.
Access to the lake when you get down there?
A ladder off the dock, steep and rocky other than that, water is very deep, if anyone can't swim ..stay away.
The house is comfortable, well equipped with a nice view. 2 bathrooms and 10 people are a challenge, but you know that going in, one is accessed only thru the Master bedroom, which is at times [middle of the nite?] a little inconvenient. The 3rd bedroom is also pretty deceiving in the pictures, virtually no privacy, no door to close into the rest of the living area, and the outside entry [which is the main one] is directly into that bedroom.
Don't think we'd rent it again, but if your real flexible it might be OK.

Nice lake house.
Was good for a group of several people in town to go on the lake. Pictures are representative of what you are getting, and everything seemed to be in working order, although we never figured out the TV's (i'm sure we could have if we'd read the directions and tried, or if we'd tried to contact Rachel). Good news was we never wanted to watch TV. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be on the lake that prefers houses to condos.

Owner easy to get a hold of if any problems even silly ones like how to turn on tv. Enjoyed our spring break with our daughter and family.

Fun Family Getaway
We had a wonderful time over spring break. Kids enjoyed fishing and exploring the area around the house. We enjoyed grilling out and taking in all the beauty around us. We had 8 people in our party (4 adults and 4 kids). We had space for everyone and never felt like we were on top of each other. Everything we needed for cooking was readily available. The area is peaceful and beautiful, which made for nice family walks. Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs has always been a favorite of ours, and the house made it even more special. Thanks for a trip full of wonderful memories.
