The property manager was incredible....quick to resolve issues which were minor....communicative....personable....made us feel valued....couldn't get any better..

Great energy..great beach access. Wonderful for my dog Bike had a flat Close to creek sunsets. Very clean. Hard to figure out remote's for T.v Overall a 10 in my opinion

It was a fantastic stay! We had 6 adults here at once and the accommodations were perfect for our needs.

We had an amazing spring break at this cute beach cottage. Absolutely loved the spacious yard for our pup and kids. Deck has a great feature of having gates that can be opened or closed and we enjoyed eating our lunch on the patio daily. Beach access was a breeze. Easy to go to and from for bathroom breaks or snacks. We really enjoyed the laid back feel of the island and the ease of parking downtown for shopping and nightly ice cream trips. We recommend Crosby’s for fresh fish. We cooked almost every night. The Pineapple Hut was also a must! Will would absolutely rent this cottage again. Thanks for a great stay!

The Coastal Cottage is conveniently located by the beach and only a short drive from beautiful, historic Charleston. It was wonderful to tour the city then drive out to the island for a relaxing evening. Walking on the beach and biking to the lighthouse were enjoyable activities. So glad the cottage provided bikes!

Older home one block from the beach. Well-used but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Within walking distance of restaurants, etc. located in residential area. Would gladly return.

House was perfect & cozy! Would love to stay again during the summer months so we can enjoy the beach.

This was exactly what we wanted - beach access directly across the street, wonderful fenced in yard, quiet location, and comfortable accomodations. The owner was immediately available when I had a question and was very gracious and helpful. Our dog loved the yard. It's far enough from "downtown" to not be very busy, although I'm sure it's different during summer. The house is older, so there is no dishwasher, but that was not a problem for us. Check in was a breeze and the house was immaculately clean. Only 1 complaint: with the bedroom wall switch turned on to allow the ceiling fan to run during the night, we obviously turned the ceiling fan light off, leaving the fan to run. Occasionally during the night, the light would flash on, like a strobe light. It was a little annoying but liveable, especially since all else was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location, fenced deck and yard, and open layout of living/dining room. Neat little sunroom and spacious deck. Nice remodeled bathroom although tub might be a little tall if you have someone in your group with issues. Nice to have the extra toilet closet. We enjoyed our stay despite low temps of 22 and highs about 42. Nearby Lost Dog and Taco boy made dining options easy.

We just moved from Charleston after 8 years so are very familiar with the area. We came back for a long weekend and decided to stay on Folly. For the price, this was a great spot. The house is old, but clean. We had some trouble figuring out how to work the AC units and the owner was super responsive and helpful. Tons of beach toys and well equipped kitchen. Loved the air fryer and used it many times. Overall was great stay...as with any beach rental, felt worn but that is to be expected! Thanks for a great trip back home for us.

We loved our time at this house! It was so close to the beach! Getting to town was quick and nice to not be right in middle of all the town hustle. The yard is great for dogs! The patio was one of my favorites being all enclosed to let the dog dry off or let the toddler play without chasing her. Beds and couch were super comfy! Garage area is stocked with everything you need for the beach for the family. There was also a pack n play.

So convenient to the beach and downtown Folly Beach! Big enough to hang out together and cook a full meal. We enjoyed walking on the beach even in November!

The owner was very responsive , the property is great and very accessible to the Beach. This rental has all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation and hoping to stay here again in the future.

Quiet neighborhood, great location, overall great experience.

Property is great, with fenced in yard for dogs and close proximity to beach. We walked to restaurants on folly, which were about a mile away. The house was a little older, but clean. Only inconvenience was there was septic work done while we were there, which made it harder to get our dogs outside. Elizabeth was very responsive to questions and concerns. I would stay here again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for the whole family. Very easy to get on the beach. My biggest regret is that we forgot to eat supper on the porch, it has a lovely view.

We had a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the cottage . The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked several fresh seafood meals. It had everything we could possibly need. Great deck out back and amazing location. We loved how easy it was to go back and forth to the beach . Thank you for all the beach chairs ! It was a perfect week.

Loved it!!!!!!! Location is amazing!! Being right across from the beach and beach access was so nice!! The house itself was very clean and comfortable! It’s a great Folly Beach house!! The house doesn’t have central air, but does have units in every room. We were there during an insanely hot week and the AC units worked well! We had one little issue and the host was very quick to respond and got it fixed right away! It was a setting mistake on our part and she was able to fix it for us easily! The deck was really nice to sit out on at night once the sun was down and our kids were asleep :) one thing to note is that second shower is in the garage(ish) space that does not have AC and so it gets insanely hot in there, so middle of the summer it was like a sauna. We ended up not using this shower, but there is a hose outside and worked perfect for rinsing off and showering the kids!! We had no issues with having the one indoor shower (and there are 2 toilets!) The house is a wonderful, classic Folly beach house! We love the feel of the house and really enjoyed our time!! We would (and prob will!!) defiantly rent again!!! If you are looking for a classic house, this is an amazing find!!

Stayed end of July/first of August. Location is great. Very close to the beach and an easy drive to Charleston. Clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Feels like home. I highly recommend.

Perfect location, yard, and house. Loved being so close to the beach with lots of space for bikes, SUPs, surf boards, and all the outdoor games you can think of. Great for a family with teens and a dog. We loved our stay and plan to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Folly Beach-even with the rainy days! My dachund loved the ocean. The access across from the house has steps but you can walk up to ninth street and access with no steps-much better for short legged dogs! The house was well equipped with supplies. The first night was "hot" because we could not figure out how to use the thermostat. We figured it out and the house was cool the rest of the week. Looking forward to next year! Thanks!

It was a SUPER short walk to the beach, and it was a very cozy house to stay in. There was a nice deck outside to sit and eat outside as well. It was clean and well kept, we had a great stay.

Such a cozy cottage, we loved our time here. So many toys and the bikes were great to cruise down to the restaurants and shops. The yard and deck are amazing if you have a dog as well!

Cute ,rustic old school,low country beach cottage X street from beach. Went w/ sons ,their friends & our dog - who has cancer , to celebrate his life with one more beach trip & to celebrate end of another school year

We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again sometime. The location to the beach is amazing with just a short walk across the street and you get specific designated parking which is so helpful since it is in such a busy area. We stayed for a long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer. Trips back and fourth were so easy especially with all of the chairs and beach accessories that were available to us. The fenced in yard was so nice for our dogs and the patio was awesome to hang out on during the day and night. Overall, the house is truly a great place to stay. If you’re looking for everything to be brand new, this isn’t for you but it is such a warm and loving home that has everything you need to visit and call your own for a short time!

This is the perfect house for a beach stay. It was our family’s first vacation (2 year old and 4 year old) and we loved Folly Beach and especially this property. Very close to the beach, a very easy walk for the kids. House had everything you need including things for the beach. Highly recommend!
