Condo was great for my family of 5. Everything you could possibly need was included. Location was great. Pool was wonderful and steps from the front door. Beautiful walking path close by that leads to beach access. The private beach was excellent and a short drive away. Nice having a garage to use. Bikes were fun. Unfortunately a lot of the snorkeling gear was broken but that was no fault to the owners, just the last guests I’m sure. We would stay again for sure if we make it back to the Big Island in the future.

We’ve stayed in over half a dozen units at the Palm Villas. Our staycation began years ago. We enjoy how quiet the property is and how the pool is often left for our use. The convenient location to other amenities and restaurants is another plus.
This unit was set up wonderfully. No hassle getting in, using a front door code was not necessary. The use of the keys, pool fob, garage code and the Beach Club gate access card, were clearly displayed and made easy to use.
We were most impressed with how well appointed, classy and of a simplistic style this unit showed. All you need to be at home exists. We forgot our boombox but the Bluetooth speaker available to use, was more than ample. The unit is very clean and tidy, as was the garage.
Our next stay? We will most likely select this unit once more.
Working with Jane and Tiphany at Big Island Living, was a dream. They are super helpful and accommodating. They are prompt to respond and provide solutions with east. They are the best.
Couldn’t have had a great time without them.

Our overall experience was great. This place had all the amenities one would need which was greatly appreciated for a family of 5. The location was perfect, easily accessible to the beach and a perk to use the private beach for the club.
I rated the place 4 star vs 5 because we had ants in the guest bathroom during our stay. However, I mentioned this to Jane the property manager when we were leaving which she was appreciative of the information and would notify pest control. There were personal toiletries there too which I wasn't sure if it was meant for other guests to use or just not removed from previous. The property management was very attentive and responsive in a timely fashion. I would stay here again. Mahalo!!

We stayed for 11 nights, and this is a great property. Spotlessly clean and so well equipped! Not only did they provide lots of beach towels, 2 bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. - the kitchen was completely kitted out with blender, coffee grinder, lots of tupperware and utensils, spices, etc. Location is terrific and the private parking/chaise lounges/cabanas at the Mauni Lani Beach Club were heaven. It's a spectacular half moon of a beach with great snorkeling and calm waters. Honestly, the beach club was nicer than the beach in front of the hotel. We had one problem while there (something broke) and the property managers had it fixed in a matter of hours ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. I wish I could rate this condo 100 stars.

A lovely, quiet and peaceful 3 bedrm condo with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely lenai. Easy 5 minute drive to the Beach Club and 300 feet to the historic trailhead which winds down past lava tubes to the fish ponds. Easy parking, 2 bicycles, walk 100' to the pool. Tons of towels, beach chairs...the hosts have added many nice touches.

Amazing stay with so many extras
We absolutely lived moved our stay! The location was wonderful with access to 3 wonderful beaches. The rental included so many extras such as water shoes, snorkel gear, beach chairs and towels. We cooked several meals and they had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. We also extended our stay 1 day and they were so accommodating. Loved this place. Oh yeah the pool is spectacular too!

Great spot at the Palm Villas. Perfect location. Condo is in good shape. Property management was very responsive when the water didn't work in one of the bathrooms. When the water issue couldn't be resolved during the stay, they proactively offered a discounted stay, which was appreciated. Loved having the bikes available to ride around Mauna Lani.

The kitchen is a MUST when we travel, so we made tons of delicious food (which in turn saved us a lot of $$$ from buying out, save for poke). Wonderful experience and very clean. Jane was so helpful from the planning stage to beyond. I sent her a couple emails during our stay and she was quick to respond during business days :)

Wonderful setting and location in walking distance to beach-clean and comfortable. Plenty of beach accessories including beach towels, bikes, snorkeling equipment. Beds very comfortable-AC welcome. Some minor criticisms-a bit dated decor, some lights were out, filter in fridge needs replacement and heard guests above walking and shifting chairs but overall a wonderful experience!

The condo is in a tranquil location yet a short walk to the pool and jacuzzi, then a short drive to shops and the beach. The kitchen is very good for cooking and the bedrooms are roomy. Overall a very good condo to rent.

Awesome condo
This is a super clean, modern and spacious 3 bedroom condo and our family of 5 was very comfortable. The private beach is a very short drive. The pool and hot tub are 150 feet from the front door and allowed us an extra spot to unwind after our days touring or on the beach. The grounds are beautiful. Lots of nice little touches like board games, noodles, bird watching book, and two bikes. Communication and responsiveness were outstanding. I loved drinking my morning tea or coffee on the lanai. It was very peaceful and serene. I would certainly consider staying here again if we ever come back to the Big Island.

We just got back from the most phenomenal stay at this Villa.. The complex is beautifully maintained and the villa has every single amenity we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen with everything working in order, to fluffy towels, comfortable beds, and a bunch of fun extras to enjoy during your stay (coolers, beach chairs, cruising bikes with helmets, even flippers for snorkeling and a bunch more!!) Manicured landscape, a quiet and enjoyable pool and quick access to trails, the beach, shopping and a private beach club. We'd sit in the mornings to sip our coffee in the lanai and enjoy the stunning view and later in the day cook a fun dinner at the BBQ grill. Very happy we found such a perfect home to enjoy our first visit to Hawaii..

Lovely townhouse in Mauna Lani Resort
We enjoyed our time at The Palms G2. Condo was stocked pretty well, but we didn’t do too much cooking. We found the walk to the beach to be a little long and hot (one in our party was still recovering from knee surgery) so it was nice to have the parking pass to the beach club. The pool could use a little more shade, but other than that, no complaints! We would definitely return!

Lots of potential, but a big negative that need to be resolved
This is not a good property for kids and this wasn’t clear from the listing. The pool is a designated “quiet area” at all times and we were asked to leave twice during the middle of the day when our kids were being kids and playing nicely in the pool. The prop manager was rude and disrespectful. Our property management company was responsive and tried to help but there wasn’t anything they were able to do to resolve the situation. We still had a great trip and really enjoyed the area, but this was a negative. I hope the property can figure out there issues so future guests don’t have to deal with this.

Great Place to Stay!!
We love the Mauna Lani resort area and have stayed many times. This condo was lovely! The kitchen was well stocked, the lanai was comfortable and shaded most of the day which is great, access to the beach club is the best part! Great places to walk and right across the street from the Mauna Lani sports and fitness center if you like tennis. Walking distance to the grocery store and shopping. Great pool, small fitness center on property but workable, well kept grounds and the property manager was super responsive if we needed anything.

A nice and quiet place to be!
Overall, if you are looking for place that is away from the hustle and bustle of "resort town", but yet be easily accessible to the world's most beautiful beaches, this is the place to be!
PROS:
The grounds are lovely and tropical. We enjoyed the convenient access to the to the Mauna Lani Beach Club which is a somewhat "private" beach. "Private" in a sense that as a guest, you are given a pass to close parking to the beach and use of its cabanas and loungers (if available). But it's not completely private because there is a public access - which I believe everyone should have public access to Hawaii's shoreline, not just resort guests. This was great if you didn't care to bring a cooler of drinks and snacks because the Beach Club Restaurant is right there!
Although the Mauna Lani resort area is very quiet and IMO a bit more exclusive than the Waikoloa, it has a great grocery store that is priced the same as anywhere else on the island (Foodland chain). It also has several high end restaurants in that strip mall, a spa, a coffee/juice bar, etc.
-The kitchen in the unit had everything we needed. There were a few dry condiments left from previous renters.
-The garage is yours to use! Most places do not have this convenience.
-There are many beach items to use: chairs, towels, umbrella, sand toys. Thank you for this. Potential renters just need to get a couple of cheap boogie boards if you choose +Two bikes!
Nice walking paths to beach! Close access to pool (not overly crowded)
CONS: Some of the kitchen pots did not have a cover, including the rice cooker; The pool area is beautiful! Just keep in mind that it is not heated, but you don't need it to be after a basting in the sun; The fitness room is tiny compared to other complexes we've stayed at: cardio machines and a universal weight machine. No free weights; The back patio is very private - you are looking at an old lava flow and ancient caves. However, you really can't enjoy the grassy area because the sprinklers are on at night so it is soaked during the day! The living room furniture, although beautiful, was not conducive to relaxing after a long day. The couch is more "sitting room style" and the two chairs that flank it is so uncomfortable. We wished it was more comfortable for lounging with our children; The living room carpet is truly a disaster. It should be steam cleaned or replaced. It looked filthy (sorry).

Beautiful location
I wish we had stayed for more than 3 days! The condo was perfectly situated to walk through the fish ponds and beach, and the pool was across the street. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and shopped at Foodland. I would highly recommend this condo. My only suggestion would be “cushier” and softer living room couches and chairs for relaxing.

Beautiful Property. Bicycle Repair
We completely enjoyed our stay at Palm Villas (G2). It was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean. The pool and spa were awesome and most of the time we had it entirely to ourselves. Unfortunately, both bicycles were un-ridable upon arrival but after a run over to BikeWorks in Waikoloa, my husband had the tube replaced in one and the seat post replaced in the other. They are good to go and provided tons of fun riding around the Mauna Lani paths and to the Petroglyphs.
I still can't stop looking at our sunset photos from the lanai.

Beautiful condo!
First of all I want to thank Jane from the property management office for being such a delight to work with. She was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any questions.
The unit was perfect! We were there for a tennis tournament and the complex is located right across the street from the Racquet club which made it convenient for our players. The kitchen was fully stocked with an abundance of cooking utensils which was great as normally rentals have very little variety.
We were looking forward to visiting again and hopefully G2 is available. Thank you for a great stay!

The condo was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we needed from kitchen supplies, cooler, beach toys, bikes, boogie boards, and plenty of beach/bath towels and sheets. It was home away from home. The amenities - pool, Beach Club and grounds are well kept and very convenient. It was lovely to have breakfast and to be able to BBQ on the lanai. We would stay again!

Beautiful setting
We enjoyed our stay, and the condo is lovely but there are a couple of things that should be addressed. The living room couch desperately needs replacing, and the TV in the master bedroom. Also be aware that there appears to be very little soundproofing in the ceiling as we could continuously hear footsteps and kitchen chairs being moved in the unit above.
