Carolyn’s place was perfect for our vacation to Gilford, NH. The house was clean and exactly as expected! Rebecca met us shortly after our arrival and was wonderful as well. I would recommend this home and would definitely stay here again! My only “advice” is to be careful with the hot water - it can get extremely hot!

The house is beautiful and had everything needed for your stay. The view is absolutely stunning 😍 The check in process ran very smooth with the property manager right down the road. Excellent property!!

House was very nice, beautiful property and great location. By the 2nd day I had the grill run out of propane with about 3lbs of tips half cooked. There were two more tanks in the shed both empty. The same night the propane tank ran out for the propane fire pit. And we went to use the hottub the next day only to find it empty and full of leaves and pine needles. Last day when I went to do some laundry there was a load still in the machine from prior tenants. Overall great house but requires better management.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay with close friends! This house was truly beautiful with wonderful amenities and just breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee! It was well located in a quiet area, yet close by to shopping, restaurants and the Bank of NH Pavilion, where we had concert tickets to a great show. Carolyn was very easy to communicate with from the start and made sure we had everything we needed. Rebecca welcomed us upon arrival and suggested some great restaurants nearby! Great stay, we would definitely return! Thank you very much!

Carolynn and Rebecca surly went above and beyond for what was meant to be a long-needed getaway for me and a group of close high school friends. Their communication was great and made us all feel welcome from start to finish. I 100% plan on staying here again to continue building memories in such a beautiful New Hampshire area. Spent the week here and I have to say the house was spotless with all the amenities of home. Beautiful views from the huge wrap around deck and for us the location could not have been better. Care taker and owner were both a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely book this house again.

This is a beautiful house with many extras. Our Christmas week included a winter Ice storm that locked us in on Christmas day but our family in NH was able to manage the roads and the icy drive to join us so everything worked out wonderfully. Our host made sure to have the drive plowed ASAP and we were able to enjoy the surrounding area for the rest of our stay. The only negative was a fireplace that was not functioning but our host assured us that it would be fully functional for the next guests. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Property just as described. Excellent views, house had everything necessary & then some. Communication was great & the early check in was much appreciated given our 2nd day was a washout weather-wise. Would definitely recommend

The location is perfect, we attended a concert at nearby Bank of New Hampshire pavilion a short 10 minute drive, the beach is 5 minutes away and Gunstock right down the road. Tremendous views from the various decks. Caroline and her sister could not have been more accommodating. Great time

This house has a gorgeous view and decks to see the Lake. The house is well stocked and has plenty of spots to sit and relax. The kitchen is nice and has lots of cooking items. The caretaker stopped by and was very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay.

This house is beautiful! The location is perfect, the views were to die for and the house had so much to offer! I was absloutely blown away when we arrived. The caretaker of the home was so sweet and very informative. The beach was gorgeous and so peaceful. The back yard has a beautiful fire pit which was great to spend time outside by! We will definitely be back, 10/10 for this rental!

The cliff property in Gilford, NH was beautiful!! Plenty of space for our family of 4 and 2 pups to spread out and enjoy!! We loved having 3 levels of deck space, including the private balcony off (what we used as) the master! Honestly, the listing photos did not do this property justice. You can definitely tell there has been several updates and lots of attention to detail. Extra clean towels, extra hangers and lots of night lights in the walls… these little ‘extras’ make a HUGE difference. We also appreciated the use of the town beach pass!!! It was very hot (90°+) while we were in town, and while it took a bit of extra time for the house to cool when we arrived, we loved that we could just scoot down to the beach… just a few minutes up the street!! We also were able to enjoy a few beautiful sunrises & sunsets… and even a double rainbow on our last night in NH!!! LOVE the views!!! Thank you! Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. It's clean, modern interior, and the balconies are in great shape. Probably the best view we've had from a rental. We would certainly stay again.

everything was as expected Rebecca was very accommodating as far as check-in and check-out. House is beautiful with great views. Only thing I would suggest is kleenex and maybe small bars of soap to shower

Stayed for a week in July. The house is very nice, extremely clean with plenty of room. Fantastic views of Lake Winni from the three decks. In a quiet and peaceful neighborhood away from all the noise and traffic, but still only a few minutes away from the lake, Gunstock, and the stores/restaurants. Enjoyed using the included kayaks on the lake. Owner and caretaker were friendly and responsive. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely home with breathtaking views. The home is spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. We booked this home for 4 primary reasons (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dog friendly, and central air). Upon arrival, we did find it a little strange that the first thing noted on the instructions related to the home stated that shoes should be removed when entering the home. That doesn't work for me. I don't walk barefoot in my own home, never mind a rental home. Especially considering this is a dog friendly home. One person in our party has bad allergies/asthma. The central air was locked at 74 and we were not able to get the house cooled to a comfortable level. We keep our central air on 70 at all times at home. The evenings were cool so we left the windows open, but for somebody with severe allergies and asthma this was not ideal and disappointing. I've rented homes with VRBO at least annually for 25 years. We have never had the central air regulated like this. Lastly, the owner does have kayaks available at a private beach. The beach pass is provided but the beach is a 5 minute drive (not a walk) and you pay the owner to rent the kayaks. We thought the kayak rental was independent from the home rental. It's an up-charge to rent the kayaks and for the price of this home I don't understand why the kayak use is not included. We've rented other homes with direct lake access and have never had to pay extra for using any amenities including kayaks, canoes, paddle boats. The owner was responsive and we had a lovely time in Gilford. We dined at The Lyons Den Restaurant which is only about 3 miles from the house and the meal was wonderful.
