We had an amazing time!! Caught tons of fish and spent lots of qualtiy time with the family.

We had a great time! We stay in a lot of VRBO properties, and this was one of the best. The cabin was clean, neat and well stocked. The sheets were high quality, there were extra pillows, blankets and plenty of towels. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you needed down to the grilling tools. The Screened porch is amazing and the decor was perfect. Every room has windows looking out on the lake. There were lots of "little touches" like full squirrel and bird feeders, additional fans, and plenty of supplies like an ice chest full of ice, multiple trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. The location and the large dock are perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. The water is deep and perfect for jumping in! Our kids had a blast. There is also a ladder to get in and out of the water with ease. It is located in a no wake zone just past the marina in a quiet little cove. The owners are super sweet and attentive. I highly recommend this cabin. It was the perfect little getaway!

Had an amazing time again!!! We caught so many fish, it rained one day but we were able to fish that morning and again when the storm passed. My only regret was running out of bait!!! During the storm we played some of the board games and even dived into the VHS collection and watched SPEED lol. Will definitely be back!!

We had a great time, enjoyed the lake and the town of Jefferson.

The Braleys were awesome. They had a welcome sign on the front lawn with our name. It's a very private location with a beautiful view of the lake. Kitchen is fully stocked. Jefferson is a short drive and has numerous antique and gift shops. We never had a bad meal in town. We would love to visit again!

The coziest most comfortable place to stay - perfect, easy parking for a bass boat and great location to ramps! The weather was frosty, but the house was so welcoming and warm! Wish the weather had been nicer so we could enjoy the awesome deck and screened in porch! I guess we have to come back :). Had everything we needed! Thanks for sharing your place!

Decorated very well! Sweet host! Well-supplied kitchen Layout of bedrooms is odd, but functional enough. Wifi was minimal, which was a bit disappointing for our family.

I enjoyed watching the birds and the lake from the huge screen porch and the living room. The seasonal decorations were a nice extra. The owner was very responsive. I’d stay there again!

It’s taken me awhile to decide how I wanted to write this review. Firstly, the property wasn’t exactly what we were expecting. The owner and their son each had their own houses within a few yards of the bungalow. So it had a “big brother is watching” feel the entire time. They kept stopping by on their golf cart to check-in or watch us fish. I understand it was probably to be good hosts, but we come from the city, we were looking for more quiet privacy without neighbors. This won’t bother some people, but it says none of this in the description and we were picturing something different. Now to get to why I’m giving this property its final rating…SAFETY! The morning before we arrived, Jackie sent me a text with directions and informed me that we could use the dock that’s right behind the property OR her son’s dock right next to it. She stated that most people use her son’s dock because it has a ladder (good for swimming). After we arrived, we decided to do some fishing before dinner. The dock meant for the bungalow isn’t as long and had some major cracks that could easily be tripped over. So we decided to check out the son’s dock. That dock was also older and was made up of older wood. We are walking to the end and our 6 year old (not even 50 lbs) FELL THROUGH THE DOCK! FELL THROUGH IT! I call Jackie instantly and she states that they were aware that the dock had weak points and her son was supposed to have replaced parts of the dock! That’s when I realized that between the bungalow and the son’s house, there was piles of new lumber and a partially made new dock…ARE YOU KiDDING ME?? They knew it needed replaced and still said we could use it? Luckily our daughter walked away with only a bruised up leg, but it could have been far worse. Any other place would have refunded your whole trip, but all we got were excuses. They kept coming by to check on how our daughter was doing and Jackie joked saying “we have the worst two docks on the lake”…is that supposed to be funny? You know how much we paid to stay there! Now my daughter is hurt due to your negligence and you make excuses and jokes? None of that is ok! There were some charming things about this Bungalow, but I’m still so mad thinking about our stay. We booked for 4 nights and ended up leaving a day early. They did offer to refund us for the night we didn’t stay by sending a check (we haven’t received it yet)…but I’m afraid that doesn’t make up for our poor experience.

Really had a great time! The house and property were very clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and made our stay very nice.

Enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. It was just what we needed for a short getaway. Plenty of space and beautiful surroundings! Loved bird watching! Decorated festively for Easter. God bless!

We had a nice weekend here despite the cold wet weather. Place was clean, well stocked kitchen with the items you would be expecting plus a few extras like a crockpot and a few spices. Great place to bird watch or to go fishing from the pier. Back porch would have been a great place to have enjoyed coffee in the morning while watching the the birds. We were actually discussing going back again in warmer weather for an extended weekend with our grandkids

Great place to stay !

We had an amazing time here, from the time we got there late in the evening and the lady was super nice with extra directions. The next morning we had breakfast in the screened in porch and then went to the lake to fish. The nights was peaceful, relaxing, and fun. The day time was adventurous and relaxing, with plenty of fish to be caught. Definitely recommend to stay here for a great fishing trip.

Our stay at the Braley Bungalow was excellent. The property is perfect for boating (16 ft alum.) with a dock, nearby marina, and fish cleaning station. The Bungalow itself was quite comfortable with plenty of space and amenities for cooking and nice lake view from rear deck. The Braley's are wonderful folks and quite informative along with providing ice during stay (thanks, Shane!)

This was such a nice place. Had all the amenities and the hosts were more than accommodating! We will be back!

We really appreciate the owner leaving the huge cooler of ice. The location is really awesome with incredible views of the lake and area.

We had friends who had stayed here before and recommended this charming lake house. View was lovely. We especially enjoyed the screened in very large patio. The layout would be perfect for two couples to share, too.

Communication with the host was excellent. The property was very clean and spacious. Sheets were already on pull out couches and were clean, comfortable and nice quality. Lots of linens available - orderly and fresh. We arrived much later than expected and host was there to ensure we had no problems getting in. Views of sunrise and sunsets were amazing. Highly recommend. Thanks Jackie! You rock.

As soon as you walk into the house you feel like your home. The back porch is so amazing. We saw 7 deer come up in the yard first evening there. You forget about the outside world. Best sister's weekend yet (been doing them monthly for a year and a half ).Thank you for a fabulous stay !!!!
