Uno dei migliori di Folly! Questo condominio con una camera da letto con vista sull'oceano è una vacanza perfetta per una coppia o una piccola famiglia. È stato rinnovato e decorato in modo professionale, con pavimenti in parquet, mobili di buon gusto (incluso un nuovissimo divano a luglio 2019) e una cucina compatta e moderna. Non importa il vostro piacere, questo è un luogo ideale per rilassarsi sulla veranda, bere il caffè del mattino o sedersi con una bevanda fresca mentre ammirate la splendida vista della spiaggia proprio fuori dalla vostra porta. Quando scende la notte, osservare le stelle è un must! C'è anche pieno accesso a una lavatrice / asciugatrice condivisa. Overall, Location and Views *****
It was a great place to stay with the location being the number one reason. My only reason for 4 Star not 5 Star is based on experience vs. price. Considering I went up a few hundred a night after Reservation Fee, Taxes and Service fees. This was not a 5 star place considering the overall cost. Even though it was over the 4th of July weekend and prices are expected higher. It was still a great place and vacation.
Pros: As stated, the Location was the best part of this stay. Right on the beach and only a block from the Pier and main road and easy walk anywhere you need. Plenty of shops and places to get food or supplies nearby. The views from the room where perfect and sitting on the porch with a morning coffee was a must. There are lifeguards and Umbrella rentals on the beach apx 9-5 every day. You can still use it other times but just adds additional comfort and security.
All the amenities you need, Bed was very comfortable.
Pet Friendly, lots of guests had pets. We did not but it was clean enough we could not tell they ever stayed in our room. Everyone who had pets had no issues and luckily no barking.
Steps: Lots of steps, first floor is already a flight of steps up (16 steps). So, each floor is an additional flight. No other way up. Was not an issue but the wife would not have appreciated the 3rd floor.
Overall, it was a great relaxing vacation and worth it. The tenant rep Holly stopped by to check on us which was nice touch.

This property was wonderful! Are only two complaints are probably more due to our age. As we are 65. It would have been nice to have chains to reach fans and lights and adjust fan speed. Also, the high top table and chairs were horrible to sit at, eat at play cards at. Would work except standing at a bar.

Upon arrival we heard and saw heavy construction equipment directly on the beach obstructing the ocean view and beachfront property we paid for. Needless to say we were very upset. The condo itself is older and very worn but comfortable and the location can't be beat. What we booked this place for was the ability to walk right out onto the beach. We did not have that. We had to walk out on the street and walk three blocks down to enter the beach at the Pulic access entrance. If I had known this I could have saved a lot of money and booked a room across the street. I would'nt have had to walk as far to the beach and would'nt have heard the noise of heavy equipment 24/7!! YES!! All night and day!!
Everyone we talked to in the other units were upset as well. I asked the management company for a discount or to be moved to a different location but nothing, Lesson learned, I signed the rental agreement that stated possible beach renourishment from March-August. Thats an understatement. Also, it stated in the listing that the pictures posted were current so book with confidence, false!! I will always know now to ask questions!! Never had this problem before Ever!!

My daughter, 26 and a doctoral student, her dog and myself decided on a last minute get away to the beach for some much needed down time to relax on the ocean. The ocean view from the condo was perfect. The condo was clean, which was a must. We enjoy cooking and they had absolutely everything needed for cooking and baking. We were impressed at how well the kitchen was stocked. Communication with rental property was also impressive at every stage of the rental process from booking to checking out. We felt safe and I was very pleased with parking. Location to restaurants and shopping was all with in walking distance. Our stay was wonderful and we will be back!

Clean and well-equipped, this condo was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. Right on the beach with easy access, walkable to the pier as well as to shops and restaurants. We would enjoy a longer stay here.

Clean, cozy condo. Extremely comfortable bed. Super close beach access. Great ocean view. Appreciate the dog baby gate. Our only complaint was not being aware beforehand that there would be so many stairs. It was a bit challenging getting our dogs up and down. Overall a great place to stay. Friendly, welcoming gifts, and fast responses from Follys Best. It would be ideal if check in and check out times were reversed, haha. (I selected low on contact with property manager since we never spoke to Greg directly?)

Very disappointed in our stay here. The one star is for the good location and view. I have never left a negative review for a rental property until today. We arrived with the temperature in the condo to be 79° when it was set for 72°. Our first 24 hours in this unit we had no air conditioning and it stayed between 80 to 81°. In hindsight, I see this is a common issue in reviews dating back to 2022. The maintenance team came out several times and offered a temporary fix but within an hour of them leaving the temperature was back up into the high 70s to 80s. They eventually provided one window unit which they installed in the living room, where our child was staying but our bedroom remained hot for the remainder of the stay. Long story short, we asked for a refund of our first night because we had no air conditioning at all and it was miserable. We were denied that because the maintenance team told the property management company that we had the unit off and the doors open each time they came, implying that it was our fault. This was 100% false. We had the unit off only once when they came the first time because it was blowing hot air and was 81° in the condo. Each time they came after that we had the unit on to demonstrate to them that the AC was blowing warm air. So it’s our word against theirs and they sided with the maintenance team. Whatever you do, I would caution you to avoid this condo and please look for one of the other hundreds of units to stay in on Folly Beach.

The condo was perfect for our weekend getaway. We normally rent a house further down the beach when we visit Folly. The condo is in a much busier area and the people were loud even at 2am, which woke us up. Otherwise no complaints!

Nice comfy, clean place in a great location. Pictures did not do the unit justice. It was way bigger than expected and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. View of the ocean was lovely and access to the beach was easy. Definitely would stay here again. Close to all amenities in town too!

Smooth from end to end. Check in, move in, so efficient. Allowed more sun time! Beautiful surf and sounds, quiet, serene nights. A stone’s throw from Bert’s Market ( a long-standing fave Folly institution) for any resupplies needed. We’re ready to return to 2 Delightful!

We loved our time at Folly Beach! Being on the ocean is so connecting with the natural world. The condo was comfortable and well-equipped - honestly, it had more stuff than was needed and it cluttered up the space. Since it’s a small 1 bedroom (approx. 650 sq ft), every bit of space matters. We made it work for our 3 week visit and were able to rearrange and put away the extras. We like open space so it was helpful for us, Once we nested we really enjoyed the space. We have even determined that we prefer smaller spaces after this trip where we both worked from the space and were able to do it in a way that worked for us. We very much appreciated the pet friendliness of the building and the entire town. Our heeler (ACD) loved the trip! Also, when our internet was spotty, Folly’s best staff were quick to respond and remedy the situation! The town is super cool. Loved Jack of Cups Saloon, Chico Feo and Rita’s! Bert’s market is literally a block away so walking to get light provisions was super doable. We loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Harris Teeter is a short drive away, which we needed since we had a longer stay and needed more things than Bert’s supplied. All in all, great trip - definitely recommend! Thanks Folly’s Best for being super helpful and responsive!

The location was amazing, property was clean and comfortable, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Everything made easy for a quick trip to the beach to end the summer. They were even able to coordinate beach rentals, which was perfect.

It is a very cute and cozy corner unit. We enjoyed our coffee on the private balcony. I had a hard time peeling my husband off the very comfortable sofa.

Excellent location. Close to all eating establishments…don’t miss Lost Dog Cafe! Easy access to the property and beach. Loved the availability of the fresh water hose on the board walk. Perfect condo for 2 people.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The location is our top reason. We were one block from Bert’s Market (be sure to stop in for some outstanding morning pastries and ice cream cones after your evening meal). And the beach is right out the back with the bonus of being in sight of an on-duty lifeguard. The condo itself was comfortable. All the appliances worked well and the couch was great - so nice to have a spot to sit with your feet up. We unfortunately lost our central air conditioning the second day of our stay. They installed a window unit but the room temp never got below 75 throughout our stay. We ended up spending the majority of our time at the water or on the porch. Also, be aware that the water pressure is minimal so definitely wash off at the outside shower, the cafe style dining is not very suited for young children (when our grandchildren visited, they could not climb into chairs by themselves), the kitchen was a little lacking - glassware such as wine glasses, an ice cream scoop- and, you will get your exercise walking up and down the stairs!. Despite the inconvenience of insufficient air conditioning, we had a very lovely and relaxing week at the beach.

Decent Getaway
The property was in good condition, but not very kid friendly. The surrounding neighborhood and beach access were great, but tents and chairs were set up for renting in the prime area each morning right in front of the property. It restricted where you could set up if you had your own.
A lot of extra fees were tacked on after the nightly rate. There’s a damage waiver that you have to pay regardless of if you break anything.
Overall it was a nice vacation and we’d likely return.

Perfect Beach Views!
Everything was great! The AC unit did stop working while we were there, but maintenance showed up within the hour to address the issue. They were unable to fix the unit but did give us window units to keep the unit cool. This was not ideal, but it was better than nothing. We brought our own bedding and I am glad we did the bedding has a very slight "old" smell to them, but the bed was really comfy! This is the perfect spot for couples and the beach views and access are amazing!

Folly Beach
We enjoyed our overall stay on the island with the following constructive comments:
Pros:
* Location is great as you can walk right out onto the beach or onto Center street for shopping or food.
* Views looking out over the ocean are good with the exception of the construction of the new pier (cranes and trucks).
* Berts store is 1 block away and has everything you might need for drinks, breakfast, lunch, dinner desserts and free coffee. Great spot.
* Parking is great.
Cons:
* Decor is very much dated and could use an update including fresh paint.
* Comforter on the bed seemed very old and dirty. Had to cover it with sheets from the pull out.
* TV in the main room does not have a clear picture and was extremely fuzzy.
*Rules on the HVAC system is to keep the heat at no higher than 68F which was too cold the three nights we were there, as we had to wrap ourselves in blankets to stay warm. Note to property management and owners. The return air vent for he HVAC system is located behind the couch and there is no way to get the proper airflow needed. This may be causing the air handling problems in this unit and is not good for the unit either.
* Could not figure the Dishwasher out???
* Overall cleanliness was not good.
* Dishes and silverware need a good cleaning as well.
* Small closet and ZERO hangers.
* Upstairs neighbor had kids and the noise on the wooden floors is very loud.
