Peaceful, beautiful setting close to everything that you need

Very cute beachfront cottage where you can watch the ocean from the large windows. Beach was a few steps away from the back porch.
Great location less than 5 minutes walk from Lynwood center, with access to several good restaurants and other amenities.
Cottage was older, but had everything we needed for our stay (except a microwave). Property manager was super responsive.

We absolutely loved the house, location, town, neighbors. We would absolutely stay at this location again. The mornings and sunsets were magnificent. The wildlife was all around. So happy to have found this gem. Thank you.

The property is lovely, from the access to the beach, the views and closeness to Lynwood Center. We were attending a wedding at the Center, and it was a short walk. The house is very sweet and nicely furnished. The retro kitchen is a nice touch.

This cute waterfront cottage is set in a quiet part of Bainbridge on the water. It is a peaceful setting, and within easy walking distance to some quaint tasty restaurants and some shops. The cottage is very comfortable and while not luxurious, it is the perfect antidote to a busy life. I hope to return.

Great Stay in a Great Location
We arrived on Monday afternoon after a quick ferry ride from Seattle. The house was perfect and the location was great. I loved the backyard, the fire pit, and beach access. The house was cozy...the kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee/breakfast and we even made dinner twice.
The only thing was the pillows...I believe they were all down feathers, so my allergies were a little nuts, but no big deal. I would stay here again for sure!

This property is truly a place of peace and beauty on the Island. A vintage cottage with lovely updates and COMFORTABLE beds, it's a home away from home. The water view is incredible and Lynwood is only steps away. We'll be back!

Lovely Beach Cootage
We found the cottage very clean, well stocked, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. It has been nicely and thoughtfully remodeled with respect to the historical details of a cottage of its age. Quite cozy and sweet.
The setting is simply perfect, easy access to the beach right in front, lots of flowers, even in early Spring.
Highly recommended and we would love to return for a Summer stay!

Idyllic Beach Cottage
This is our new "Christmas morning" house. For the last two years we have rented this cottage over the holidays for our daughter and her fiance. It is a quaint cottage right on the water. The owner, Diane is more than accomodating. When we arrived there was a wreath on the front door, a bottle of wine on the table and a Nespresso machine and coffee in the kitchen. The house is beautiful and has every amenity you could imagine. We highly recommend it!

This is a charming little summer cottage, steps from the beach with a beautiful view and a great location. While I imagine is perfect in the summer, it’s a little chilly in the winter and would benefit from a fireplace. We would definitely rent it again in the summer.

The cottage was quaint in the quiet area of pleasant beach. A beautiful water view with a pebbled beach in front. Incredibly relaxing to walk on the beach and watch all the birds flying by.

Quaint 2 BR cottage with deck and landscaped yard with beautiful view overlooking Puget sound. Enjoyed using the fire pit on several cool evenings. Comfortable Queen bed. Short walk to Lynwood center for good restaurants, bakery, movie theater. Will return!

Heavenly Beach Front Retreat
Pleasant Beach Cottage, perched on the shores of Rich Passage, is a dream come true. This charming vintage home, with tasteful updates that have made it cozy and comfortable, make it the perfect retreat. Add in nearby Fort Ward Park and it's many beautiful hiking trails half-a-mile south; and Lynwood Town Center, complete with an excellent bakery, movie theatre and numerous good restaurants (we specifically recommend Beach House) half-a-block north; and the result can only be described as heavenly. Just as important is that Diane could not be a better host. She is gracious and generous, responds quickly to questions or problems, and clearly cares deeply about the guests experience. Thank you for making the summer of 2018 one of our best ever. We are already planning our return trip.

This is a charming little cottage. Well decorated. It actually has down comforters and pillows and we enjoyed watching the tide come in and out. Loved the hammock too!
Lots of little shops to brows in and some nice restaurants to choose from. The ferry is a pain in the neck! Although it's fun to ride on and the scenery is beautiful but you have to plan your going and coming from seattle very carefully or you'l be sitting in line forever!
The house is wonderful if you are just looking for some peace in a lovely spot.

We had a calm, restful adventure at this lovely beach house. It was our first experience with VRBO but it won't be our last. The place is very much like staying at a friend's home. Warm, welcoming and cared for. It was perfect to have our kids from Boston and Montreal fly in and stay with us here. Thank you.

The home was perfect for our family trip to Bainbridge Island. The home was clean and well kept. It was fully stocked with supplies which made our trip smooth. There was a large backyard with grass for our boys (2.5 and 4 yrs old) to play. The house even came stocked with backyard toys, kid's movies, and kid's books! The hubby and I enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view while our boys ran around and played in the yard. It was a perfect vacation. Thank you!

This little jaunt from MN to WA turned out perfectly due to the convenience of the location of this little gem. We flew to Seattle; took the train to the city; walked 4 blocks from the train to the Ferry; Ferry to Bainbridge Island and cabbed it 6 miles to this wonderful getaway. The listing description is accurate; photos true; very clean and well-maintained; owner was very helpful with my many questions, emails, and phone calls. I would recommend this to everyone! Restaurant and bakery walking distance away. I almost hate to give this kind of review because I want to be able to book it again and again!

The home was exactly as it looked in the pictures: quaint, clean and an absolute amazing view. It has beach chairs on the deck, facing the water, along with the wonderful hammock and table that literally sits right above the water for a picturesque view. It had wonderful decorations in the home and had everything we needed to cook dinners at the house. It is also very close to a cute part of the Island that has a yummy restaurant with some of the best pizza we have ever had. The manager of the home was so accomodating of our short notice plans (we called the night before we wanted to come stay) and she made sure that when we got to the house, we would not be disappointed! We will come back here for our holiday again and have already suggested it to a friend as well.
