We have stayed at this property multiple times and likely will again. It is a great location, parking around the back. It is clean and ready when we arrive. There is a large kitchen with a center island, oodles of kitchen supplies and equipment. We walk down and back from Nauset Beach, and it's only about a three minute drive into Orleans and stores, restaurants, and the Cape Cod rail trail. Enjoy.

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic week at the property. Everything was as-listed and everything we needed for our stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, beach supplies, and great location in Orleans to enjoy the beaches, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and easy to work with beforehand and during our stay. Highly recommended!

Property was just as photos show. Darling little cottage, well loved and cared for. Although we had absolutely no issues whatsoever, I think the description should be clearer that the owner lives in the same home, on the other side, and upstairs. It should also mention that there's another rental directly behind, above the detached garage. Beach parking is $30/day; however we went many times in the early morning and after 5pm at no charge and it was lovely! Highly recommend The Barley Neck restaurant right down the street, as well as smitty's homemade ice cream! We weren't fans of "The Whisk". Dave is very nice and avaliable. Very nice area, gorgeous Nauset Beach! Thanks for having us!

This is our second time renting this property and it continues to please. It's comfortable, in a wonderful setting, and walkable to Nauset Beach, where parking has increased to $30. We use the well stocked kitchen for meals, and the living room for evening TV. Couldn't ask for anything more.

There is plenty of room in this house only a 0.6 mile walk from Nauset Beach parking is now $30 !). We walked down every day. There is a large, well-provisioned kitchen with an island for extra counter space, a family room and a large living room (both with TVs), and a large deck and outdoor table. Dave lives in an apartment on site, so he was responsive to a couple of first day questions, and showed us a basement are where we could store our bikes. All in, a great place to stay. We'll see Dave again next year!

This property is well kept, comfortable, and full of personality. It is equipped with everything a guest needs and is decorated with knick knacks, books, and collectibles that reflect the owner's long history in this home. It's a quiet spot just a short walk down Beach Road to Nauset Beach. One bedroom has a double bed (and we are not large people, so that was fine for us.) The other has 2 twins. I would stay here again.

A perfect sized house for 3-4 people with room to spread out. Easy walk to the beach and a nice deck and backyard. We really enjoyed that there were no lights in the back yard on all night and you could see the stars.

Our family of 4 loved staying here! Plenty of room in what is clearly a well-loved family home. Nice backdoor porch with a distant partial view of the ocean. Bedrooms are spacious, and nice to have 2 sitting/living areas. Kitchen is fully stocked, has absolutely everything you need! Very easy distance from Nauset beach....no sidewalks so not great for walking with little ones, but we would drive down and one adult would drop the family off and then park back at the house and walk over. Worked out very well. Nauset beach is absolutely stunning, one of the best beaches in the cape. Check out the morning beach yoga classes there! Plenty of beach stuff (chairs, boogie boards) to use. Dave, who lives on the property in the adjacent apartment, was a helpful and accommodating host. Check in and out was super simple. Lovely experience, exactly what we wanted for a summer beach vacation.

My brother and I have been going to the Cape every summer since around 1955. Two years ago we sold our parents vacation home in Orleans. This place reminded us of our parents place- very homey, lots of memorabilia and totally equipped with everything anyone would need for a pleasant stay. We walked to the beach. The owner was helpful and genial. Would gladly go again.

Nauset Beach vacation
David’s house is surprisingly roomy with everything you need to cook, grill, relax, and explore. There’s a large outdoor shower with a changing area and good water pressure. The deck offers a distant view of the Atlantic. Two indoor seating areas meant that we each could have our own space to read (and tv if we wanted). It’s a great location exploring all of Orleans, or for walking to Nauset Beach. Without our beach gear it was an 11 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay atThe Friendship House.

Great house and location
We had such a great time here! My husband, teen son and I had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed. It was great being so close to the beach which was only a 10 minute walk and a short drive to restaurants. I would highly recommend!

lovely place to stay on Cape Cod
We were delighted to find this house roomy, clean and stocked with everything you can imagine. The location was perfect - 10 minute walk to Nauset Beach, lots of restaurants nearby, about midway between upper and lower cape. It was quiet and private and the host responded immediately to communications.

Great friendly home very inviting and welcoming
We loved staying at David’s house very warm & welcoming , and a bit nostalgic like visiting your grandmothers house but updated ,the whole house has everything you can imagine you may need , ands plenty to look at , on the back deck we watched the full moon rise up from the ocean in all its splendor 😀 thanks David

Loved our stay! Perfect cape get-awsy
Great spot close to Nauset beach with all the amenities you need for a Cape vacation. We found the property to be spacious, comfortable and unique. Outdoor shower and air conditioning were great after some hot, humid beach days. Host was great and responsive. We hope to return one day!

Wonderful weekend at the Friendship House.
We felt so “at home” in this lovely house. The house is well equipped, especially the beautiful big kitchen. Charming decor throughout the house and 2 comfortable rooms to sit in. And of course the short distance to our favorite Nauset Beach is the best! We hope to return one day.

A large, clean, and comfortable home; very close to the ocean.
This is a large home filled with antiques: but very inviting, comfortable, and livable. It has everything anyone could need for a week long stay. Including a very large, well stocked kitchen. A small portion of Nauset Beach is actually visible from the 'sun' room. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent location and house
What a great location! 10 minute walk to the beach and accessible to all other towns on the cape. Dave was very helpful and friendly, his house is very quaint, peaceful and has a very well stocked kitchen too, in addition the grill on the deck. We greatly enjoyed our restful stay there. We really enjoyed our 7 days staying in this gorgeous beach house. The house was full of character and David was an amazing host. We had an wonderful stay, house was super clean and super comfortable. Kitchen was huge and had everything you need to cook. Patio, a brand new grill. We used it every night to cook delicious dinners. The property was in the closet distance to everything. We definitely will return one day.

His home is charming it was well stocked, very clean and the location is ideal.. just a short walking distance or bike ride to Nauset beach.

This house was very roomy with a sitting room off the kitchen and an additional living room, both with TV's. The kitchen was big and full of everything you need and more! There was a nice deck with an umbrella table ( and a small view of the ocean). You could hear the surf at night! Two roomy bedrooms and a bathroom. There were many interesting books on the Cape and many homey touches. It was all very clean and attractive and comfortable! It was almost like being at home. We all loved it1

Had an awesome week!
It was a great space in a great location, literally 8min walk to the beach and under 5min by bike. Plenty of room, nicely appointed and very cozy. The owner was very friendly, responsive and fixed a yellow jacket problem within 24hrs. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location and adorable house
We loved this house! It was very spacious and cute. The location was perfect - right near the beach! The owner David was so wonderful. He was very responsive and very helpful when we had questions. We even left something behind and he mailed it to us the next day! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the area. We'll definitely be staying here again next time we are in Orleans.

Perfect cottage! It was quaint, great space and location
We loved this cottage rental. The location was awesome. The cottage itself was adorable and very roomy. it was clean and well stocked and a perfect location for us. I would definitely recommend this rental and will rent again myself.
