First of all, the host Mike was extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions or stop by to assist. He was very welcoming and kind. We did come during a tropical storm but he made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed as well as gave us an extra night! The accommodations were clean and as listed. Everything you could need was present in our room. There was nice beach chairs and a wagon for us to use. A binder with any number you could need and suggestions for food, entertainment, and excursions. The location is perfect! Right accross the street from the beautiful beach and water. You are also near bridge street, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. No need for a vehicle. Free trolley, tips golf cart transportation, as well as tips monkey bus. The location and accommodations was perfect for anything younwpuld need or want for a vacation on AMI. Thank you Mike and we plan to return one day!

The location is excellent. You couldn’t ask for anything better . Stayed there now 4 times. This is first time staying for 7 days. Only complaint I had was there weren’t enough bath towels. Only had four for entire week for three people and we had to do our own laundry for clean towels. I would suggest more towels in room or a service to bring more mid week. Beach chairs were ready to fall apart. Needs to be updated a little more often. Overall stay was still good.

Came to the west coast from the east coast for a little get away by myself. The property was lovely, the room was clean and well stocked. Bed was super comfy and a/c worked great! Capt Mike was very easy to communicate with and very prompt to respond. The area was perfect, very close to lots of places to eat and drink and access to the beach. I felt very safe coming and going alone, day and night.
I will definitely stay here again.

Great responses from owner. Wonderful location. Easy local transportation up and down the island. We cooked in our condo, I brought my own spices. Didn’t expect them to provide. However It did have some spices, ie: salt, pepper, sugar. They seemed old though and should be replaced. Overall great place and would stay again.

My husband and I took an impromptu drive to Anna Maria Island for a week away from the cold weather at home (early December). Capt Mike was very accommodating with our last minute booking. Capt Mike thought of everything! This villa is very clean and well appointed, with updated kitchen and bathroom (including kitchen appliances), tasteful beachy decor, and a very comfortable king-sized bed! The back yard patio area is great for relaxing, with a hammock, chaise lounges, and tables/chairs. Everything is provided for time at the beach — a cart, chairs, umbrella, towels, a cooler, and beach toys. The villa is the perfect size for a couple or a couple with a small child or two. Great location; we walked to the beach and to shops and restaurants. The free trolley is handy, but we had a car and didn’t use it. We are looking forward to returning during warmer weather. I can see myself floating in the beautiful, blue-green, clear Gulf of Mexico. I spent hours collecting seashells and even waded in the water over my knees. The outdoor shower and foot washing (shell washing) stations came in handy. Thanks, Capt Mike!

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend for a lacrosse tournament. Location was perfect (across the street from the beach AND near an inlet/outlet to the island so you avoid traffic congestion). We had a problem with our parking spot Saturday evening after 9pm and the owner was immediately responsive and remedied the problem within 15 minutes. Thank you!

The location is ideal and the unit is great for a couples getaway to Anna Maria Island. We had never been to the island before but will certainly be returning. Walking distance to many great restaurants and across the street from a low key relaxing beach. Would recommend! Our only issue arose upon check in, where we couldn’t find the lock box. Captain Mike did include instructions, however for the more directionally challenged guests such as ourselves, it was a bit confusing. We still got in and had a great stay, and will hopefully be returning soon.

Our stay was great and Mike was very responsive to questions! The house is located in a busy area but that made it very easy to get to everything! We were told we probably wouldn’t need a rental car and he was right. We hopped on and off the island trolley which was free and the pickup spot was 2 short blocks from the house. (3min) This allowed access to all of Anna Maria Island. There’s also beach access across the street and the rental property included a beach cart, chairs, and beach towels, which made it very easy to take everything to the beach without stress! The house is quiet and comfortable. Everything you need is provided! It was especially nice as our flight took off later in the afternoon we were able to check out and then we were provided a code so we could keep our luggage in a locked area and come back for it later. This allowed extra time for a boat trip around the island instead of sitting in the airport! Definitely a nice, centrally located place to stay with the beach, bars and restaurants within walking distance and right on the trolley route for exploring!

They’re located directly across from the beach and in walking distance to amazing restaurants on the island. Captain Mike is a great host and had everything we could possibly need inside the villa’s. Our little bungalow had everything you could possibly need - full kitchen, bathroom amenities, beach supplies (cart, chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels), and extra blankets, towels, and sheets.

Had a wonderful stay at this practically-waterfront property, perfectly located near all the good stuff in Bradenton Beach. Agree with all the positive reviews. Comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, and pretty much just as depicted here on VRBO. The only misfire (and it was a minor one for us) was the noise from our upstairs neighbor. Not their fault, I just think the construction conveys the sound really efficiently between the up & downstairs neighbors. Nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay, though, and we’d happily rent again — and plan to. Steps away from beautiful beaches and all the Bridge St. attractions. Loved our meal at one of Mike’s recommended eateries — Wicked Cantina. Outstanding. Don’t miss the Tahini Beach Cafe for a terrific breakfast, too— about 100 yards south of the property.

Peaceful get away for our anniversary!
My husband and I had a great time in Bradenton. The residence was just a short walk to the beach and close to all of the food spots. Mike provided all the necessities and it was so nice to have a cart to use. He provides beach chairs and an umbrella as well! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay! We will definitely book again. Mike’s response time was fast when I had a question about a code for the key. The apartment was just as advertised. It was clean the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need, lots of extra towels and blankets. . The beach across the street was the absolutely beautiful. We were able to walk to walk to our destination.

What a beautiful location! This is an accurate description of the property and was everything needed to enjoy the beautiful beaches!! There was also stores nearby to buy groceries and fun restaurants to enjoy! Some right on the beach!

Very Clean. Well managed. Very comfortable king bed and pillows. Pickleball court steps away. Short walk to bridge street. Drawback is that the unit is located on a busy beach road so there is always the sound and visual of traffic. We would probably stay a block off of the main road again on our next visit.

Perfect for us!
We had the best stay here! Mike was very easy to work with and so kind. Knew a lot about the area so was very helpful! Loved that we could just park our car and leave it there for our stay. Everything is in walking distance and is beautiful! Had a great time at local bars/restaurants and the shopping was great! The beach was amazing! Right across the street! Mike provided a wagon,chairs,cooler,umbrella…..everything you need is right at your fingertips. The evenings were very peaceful sitting out front. All the traffic quiets down by 10 so never heard anything at night! The space was so clean and the amenities were awesome! We will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Bradenton! Thanks Mike and staff for making our little get a way so wonderful!

Cute apartment "unit C" with anything you could possibly need. Super comfortable King size bed! Although it faces the street, you couldn't hear the noise inside and the bedroom is in the back of the building so super quiet! Walking distance to everything.
