La Sala Glow a Indian Hollow è una 1850 Post & Beam fienile ricco di storia, ristrutturato in stile post-moderno pieno di luce.
Immaginate di uscire dalla tua auto, aprendo la porta schermo per una grande veranda che si affaccia su un ruscello di montagna che salta, abbastanza in profondità per dunk in. Quindi passare attraverso la porta principale cinghia incernierata e in una grande sala in cembro incandescente con finestre giganti, un grande forno a legna, 3 divani Chesterfield, zona pranzo e cucina. Si vede il bosco intorno a te, ma tu sei dentro, pronto per rilassarsi.
Al piano superiore, il loft dispone la camera matrimoniale (2 posti letto, regina) e una sala lettura / giochi (può ospitare 2, futon).
Camminando nel ell, si passa il bagno, la 'stanza senza scopo,' e la camera degli ospiti (2 posti letto, futon), che si apre sul ponte posteriore, dove il barbecue è, e il suono delle acque saltellanti.
In estate il prato è fitta e rigogliosa, e siete circondati da pini, betulle, aceri e montagne. Chauncey Brook costituisce il confine orientale e offre una serena e felci di benvenuto; vi si affacciano, c'è una bella firepit circondato da panche di registro. Il confine meridionale è morto Branch Brook, con le sue piscine rinfrescanti.
Circa un 1/4 di miglio a valle si unisce al ramo orientale del fiume Westfield, un governo federale designato 'Wild and Scenic River.' Vi forniremo con mappe e informazioni sulla zona, che contiene straordinarie opportunità per fare picnic, pesca, trekking, mountain bike, nuoto, x di fondo, racchette da neve, fotografia e pittura. Ed essendo da solo, con qualcuno che vuole stare da solo con.

From the moment we stepped out of our car, we knew this was a one of a kind place. The sound of the water was intense and exhilarating, but as soon as we stepped inside the house, the environment changed to one of quiet, peace, and warmth. The first thing we noticed was all the beautiful, one-of-a-kind pottery that included mugs, bowls, basket with handle, and the gorgeous tiles that lined the chimney. Turns out the owner is a talented artist! The house is quirky with a wide ranging collection of vintage and found objects but neatly assembled and tied together with crisp modern white walls and warm wood floors and structures of various shades. We enjoyed the wood stove and the warm, comfortable beds at night and headed out to explore the area and (attend a wedding!) Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home!

Just as we were finally getting some crisp fall weather we made our way out to The Glow Room. Truly a relaxing place to spend a long weekend walking the nearby trails and gazing out at the rushing river. Every window has another lovely autumn scene. We’ll be back!

We loved this home! Cozy, well-designed — a perfect mix of rustic with modern elements. The location was a good jumping-off point for some nearby hiking and exploring, as well as easy access to North Hampton and East Hampton. Thank you!

We can't wait to go back! This cottage was a perfect relaxation headquarters- lots of nature to surround ourselves with (brook included) and easy to get to fun and charming towns. The house had everything we needed and the owners made it all super easy. 10/10!

Visiting the east coast from New Mexico, we were looking for a place in the woods where work and email couldn't follow us. The house and location were perfect. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed and the temperature was perfect inside the house. Lots of natural beauty nearby - feels isolated but there are lots of lovely small towns a short drive away. It was great - would love to return.

Lovely property, isolated in the woods. Great place to unwind. Well maintained and nicely decorated inside, it is a really nice cabin right by a river.

The cabin had the best vibe for a couple trying to getaway together. The aesthetic both inside and outside of the property was just perfect for us. I could not speak more highly of a place and I cannot wait to go back.

Great little cabin! Remote location down a long gravel road, little to no cell service, but a charming and fun place to stay. A good base location to get to everything you want to see in western Mass. Could get to almost anywhere within about an hour. Well supplied kitchen. Nice bathroom. Enclosed porch. Fire pit and sitting area in backyard. Creek right across the road. Would come back to stay in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful place! Super clean, comfortable, beautifully designed and minimally but artistically decorated. The location is incredible- literally across the street from miles of trails and the river.
Loved having no cell reception or Wi-Fi, honestly, but take the recommendation to bring your own entertainment seriously- there really were no books or (intact!) games/puzzles to toy with, and no stereo or record player etc that we could find.
One thing to note is that sounds carry like crazy because of the open loft structure and all the wood. Not a problem for me and my mother, but for larger families or folks who have very different wake/sleep times just be aware.
I want to come back in every season...What a true escape, immersed in quiet and nature, yet with all the best comforts of the modern world.

Sweet Retreat
We stayed for 5 days at the "Glow Room". The property was very stylish and well appointed. The vibe was extremely calm. An excellent place for connecting, writing, art or music. The off-the-grid feature was welcomed and enhanced our trip. There is a bubbling stream across the road from the house which can be navigated. We also enjoyed amazing day trips to Chesterfield Gorge and Glens Falls for private, lazy swimming days. Northhampton is also well within reach for a night out!

Hampshire County Stay
I reserve 5 stars for very comfortable/lovely places, which you don't want to leave. I thought there was a lot of nice things about this place, but overall would give it 3-4 stars for coziness/comfort/appearance. I am not taking off from the rating for this, bc it was clearly stated by the hosts, but I just want to add a note about the lack of service. We ended up struggling with the lack of service more than expected. Neither my husband or I got service even 10 min drive from the house (AT and T/Verizon). It was mainly hard because we are not local and were not familiar with the area (lots of U-turns when we figured out we were going the wrong way). Trying to plan for activities/trips even local markets (how far, how to get there, hours open, etc) was hard. Also, there would have been no way to call if an emergency occurred (no land line that we could see). I would just say to plan as much as possible before you arrive if you plan to check out the local towns/attractions.

Perfect place to get away from it all. The owners leave a fantastic list of things to do and places to visit; my personal favorite being the flower bridge over in Shelburne Falls. Had an overall wonderful experience, already thinking about when we can book it again.

Everything was lovely. It's so quiet, so be prepared for that-no WIFI, radio, etc. The grounds are amazing, but definitely be prepared for tick checks.

Music making getaway
The Glow Room was the perfect place to bring guitar, banjo, keyboard and some simple recording devices for two days of music play. Robbie was flexible when a predicted hurricane blew through our plans. The stream across from the front porch was roaring beautifully when we got there, and the crickets chimed in. Great retreat, lovely space; highly recommend.

Beautiful rustic hideaway
Amazing location with everything you need for a low-key getaway. Great location for nature enthusiasts who don't mind being off the grid communication-wise, with some really cool touches (like the tile fireplace). We really enjoyed getting away from everything, and hope to come back again!

The most magical place!
Our weekend in the Glow Room was refreshing and recharging to say the least. The river is absolutely incredible, and the forest and its paths are beautiful. The home is a serene and clean oasis, and we appreciated the kitchen having all the necessities for doing a little bit of cooking. We will absolutely be returning as soon as we can!

We had so much fun exploring the brook and jumping around the rocks. We also loved the location for all we were able to drive to explore throughout the area: Dinosaur Prints Park (not a destination in itself but worth a stop along the drive), Mass MOCA and surrounding hiking, Three Sisters Sanctuary, Shelburne Falls with its Bridge of Flowers and the Potholes, and our absolute favorite- Chesterfield Gorge.
We also just loved being able to unplug and be present. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We are already planning our next visit!
