Quiet area, breakfast was fantastic!

loved the country, serene, quiet location. sparkly clean but still homely, especially the gorgeous pup! Breakfast, snacks and chocolates were a lovely treat. bed was super comfortable, and we had a weekend of sports, so washing machine. no a big bath were super appreciated

a few problems with hot water in the morning, but due to my teenager having 2 baths 🛀 the night before 🫣

Great accommodation spacious lounge kitchen area, with provisions supplied for breakfast, Very comfortable bed with roomy ensuite. handy location if you want to explore both the coast and the hinterland eg Glasshouse mountain eumundi Markets on Saturday morning was great.

If you're a schoolie that wants to rave this is not the place for you, stay on the gold coast 😆 so definitely a place if you want quiet away from the crowds

I was so looking forward to my stay at River Gum. A couple of days prior to my arrival Neale called to let me know that there would be unexpected but very long awaited roof works to be done on the property, he let me know that my unit would be completed prior to my arrival and that the crew would be asked to be sensitive with noise. On arrival I couldn't have felt more welcomed by Sharon and then an hour or so later by Neale. Oh my, what a beautifully maintained and peaceful property, Sharon gave me a brief and informative tour through my accommodation and left me to settle in. Everything was thought of and more, brekky provisions were promised, however there were so many other unexpected and very much appreciated extras which made my home away from home stay just blissful. This accommodation is in such a perfect location for all parts of the sunny coast and tucked away from much of the hustle and bustle of other areas. I missed my own dog while away but was so lucky to enjoy the company of 'puppy' Jasper running past my room from time to time and sharing coffee and an afternoon drink with me as well. So much room to move in this beautiful B & B, just perfect for a single or for a couple, thank you so much Neale, Sharon and Jasper for my stay, see you again soon Deb x

Honestly no complaints at all. Yes a small amount of noise, however the hosts had waited 9 months for their roof to be replaced and made every effort for me to not be disturbed so not a complaint at all. There is very private parking right next to the entrance to the room, however do note that it isn't undercover - again not a complaint just for other guests info.

Breakfast was good… continental as in croissants, bread, fruit, cereal , yogurt. As it was a B&B was sort of expecting a cooked breakfast…a little short on regular tea bags… But the room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Only saw owner at arrival. Very quiet and peaceful.

The location was tranquil, no noise. Everything for breakfast was provided plus extras, snacks and chocolates. Exceptionally large lounge room. Bed was comfortable but I prefer softer, that's a personal thing. Neale was great.

Highly recommended. A real gem. I will be staying again. Attention to detail, spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed, lovely quiet location but minutes to everything on the coast, super friendly hosts, lovely well cared for garden, fantastic selection of breakfast options. Wonderful for short or long stays on the coast, away from the crowds.

There's nothing I didn't like, but one suggestion would be to provide a work desk/table in the room, better internet instructions and access and some extra powerboard outlets for the increasing number of travelling workers, who sadly still have to open their computer. This would make it perfect for a working retreat and appeal to business travellers.

Lovely location, quiet and restful. Good facilities and amenities. Breakfast left ready to have ay our leisure. Exceptionally clean and tidy and full of character.

Kitchen facilities a little lacking as I believe it was originally a laundry room and kitchen sink was the laundry tub. Sufficient for a short stay.

Location was fine a very quiet area. The breakfast exceeded expectations - very generous servings. Appreciated being able to share the cooked breakfast with our family members who occupied the Studio Room.

Probably the only things I could mention are having no air-con in the bedroom ( one bedroom unit). It would be fine in Winter but in Summer even with the pedestal fan the room was a little warm. Also a few hangers would have been appreciated. But it was a great place.
