We had an excellent stay. The owners are very accommodating and respond quickly. The layout of the house is outstanding. We spent most of our time sitting on the upper deck enjoying the view. We loved hearing the church bells. Highly recommended!

When you go on a trip with a large family you often expect to cram in, but this property had plenty of space! One thing we loved is every bedroom had its own private bathroom. Lots of seating for everyone and plenty of dishes to cook! The house was very clean and the amenities were great! It was nice to feel like we were home away from home. Definitely recommend!

This place was just perfect for our girlfriend trip! The views are beautiful! The house is “beary” cutely decorated. Lots of room for us to spread out. We loved that we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. We definitely plan to return and rent this house again!

This was our second stay at this property and after ten years, it still shows great care and cleanliness. This location is right in the valley, close to golf course, clubhouse and pickelball courts. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas of Franklin, Dillard & Clayton, as well as Highlands. Having a bathroom in each bedroom is a nice plus! House is stocked with everything you will need and has plenty of room for kids, as well as parents. We look forward to our next stay!

This was the third time we have rented this home. My son runs the Sky to Summit trail race every year at this time. This house is 1 minute from the starting line, which is ideal. John and Julie are gracious hosts and the house is always clean and neat.

We were so happy to find this home in great condition, just as it appeared in the listing. It was very well kept and in a great location for us. We've stayed at a number of homes in the Highlands area for over 20 years, but have now decided this location just might be our perfect spot. The privacy in the home regarding bedrooms each having their own bathroom was a huge plus. Although we chose to only cook one main dinner during our stay, the kitchen seemed very well stocked. The large family area upstairs and the additional seating area downstairs is great for large families needing their own space. Because of the location, we were easily able to fit quite a bit of fun into our extra long weekend including a visit to the Highlands Screamer, Julep Farms, two different days of golfing, and multiple trips to Highlands for hiking, sightseeing, dining, and a little shopping. It was so nice to come "home" to a great place to stay after all of our activities. Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation place for our family!

We spent a week here in Aug2022 at this lovely Sky Valley home We loved the property. After we booked - discovered two different friends have stayed here as well, and were equally very impressed.
Great accommodations with lots of living space. House equipped with everything needed for a week's stay.
(Owner needs to have a running contest to count the number of bears - like counting jellybeans in the jar!)
We certainly hope to return in the future.

Family wedding in Sky Valley
We stayed at this lovely home in Sky Valley while attending a family wedding at the Chapel of Sky Valley. The home had plenty of room for the family (grandparents, parents, and kids), a gorgeous view seen from comfortable seating on the deck, adorable decorations, etc. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked. Check in and communication were great. I highly recommend 32 Little Bear Trail to all. You will love being there!

50k Race Weekend
This is our second time to rent this house. My son runs the Sky to Summit 50k every year at this time. It is 1 minute from the 6:00 am starting line, always clean and since it has so many full baths, no one is ever waiting on a shower! It is perfect for our stay.

Great place for my friends!
My bridesmaids stayed in this house for my wedding weekend, and it was great! There were enough rooms/beds and bathrooms for the small group. No one felt cramped for space, and the house was super clean. The owners are very nice and will help with anything questions or needs!

Wonderful house!
My three sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was one of the most well supplied we've ever stayed in...even had body wash in each shower, with hand soap and air freshener in each bathroom. Very clean and wonderfully decorated. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, well-appointed, wonderful!
I cannot say enough good things about this property. The cabin is clean and has everything you can imagine. From the beautiful decks, comfy swing, large family area, great board game table to small details like plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen tools, etc., this property tops all! Not to mention how easy it is to get to the cabin on paved roads and how convenient to hiking, tubing, waterfalls, wineries, shopping and restaurants! Wow...I cannot wait to return!

The escape we needed
We had a lovely stay at Little Bear Cabin! It was the perfect escape after a hectic year. The home is incredibly spacious (all the kids got their own rooms and bathrooms! They didn't want to leave hahaha.), the location is absolutely perfect, and the views are stunning. The house is excellently maintained and lovingly appointed with a whole variety of themed decor. Plus, the TVs in every room (with Netflix and Amazon Prime) were the cherries on top of a fabulous stay. We enjoyed night-time family movies relaxing by the open fire after long hikes. The fireplace even came with wood and fire starters. We can't wait to return to Little Bear Cabin!!!

White Christmas in the Mountains
Every aspect of renting went smoothly. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. The location of the house made area activities convenient. Layout of house provided private space for our three generations of family with two comfortable gathering spaces. A well-appointed kitchen made preparing Christmas dinner a breeze. We even had snow on Christmas Day to make it a memorable holiday. We are already planning our return trip!

Wonderful home
My grandparents owned this home from when I was a young child until I was about 22. We were thrilled to find it on VRBO and were happy it’s been well taken care of. It’s a great place for a family or friends to get together, every room has its on restroom, two loving rooms and two large back porches overlooking the mountains and golf course. We can’t wait to go back and make more memories!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view
We had 9 family members ranging in age from 19 to 79 for a long family weekend. This beautiful home was perfect! Every bedroom has a private bath, plus there is a half bath on the main floor. The home is beautifully decorated and was absolutely immaculate! The kitchen was stocked so preparing and serving meals was so easy. Best of all, the owner was very helpful and checked to make sure everything was going smoothly. I highly recommend this home! We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Vacation Home in Beautiful Sky Valley
Sky Valley has been a family favorite vacation area. When we were looking for a place to stay with our daughter and grandchildren, we found Little Bear Trail. We could not have had a better experience! The location is perfect and easy to find. We had a large passenger van and it was very easy to get in and out of the driveway. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and a true home away from home. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view from the porch is breathtaking and I am sure it is equally beautiful in every season. Watching the sun rise over the mountains in the morning from the porch was so peaceful. The sound of the church bells ringing throughout the day was a personal favorite. There are many places to walk around the area and there is a waterfall right in Sky Valley that is definitely worth a visit. The owners were very easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions. I really can't think of anything that could have made our stay any better. We will definitely keep Little Bear Trail in mind for future visits. Thank you to the owners for sharing your rental with us.

The fabulous yellow house!
Our family was in Sky Valley for a wedding and this house fit our needs perfectly! With 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, we all had our own space. We loved the LARGE family room and porch for gathering. We enjoyed our meals together and lots of room for relaxing, watching tv and playing games. The view is beautiful! We loved seeing the birds at your bird feeders and listening to the bells from the local church. We had a wonderful time!

Great Trip
This was a great house and a great location. Very roomy with the four bedrooms and four full bathrooms plus half bath. Very clean and had all the linens etc. Great house, would definitely recommend it to friends traveling to the area.
