Will come again. For safety returning at night, needs better outdoor lighting at door or solar lights. Don’t trip over the rocks! Had a great time!

The cabin was exactly as we expected. It was nice to have room for our young family of four. The patio and outdoor area was great! Our 22 month old loved pushing his dump truck in circles around the cabin! It is a lot traveling with two under two, and the third night free made the trip just a little bit longer and all the packing/unloading/adjusting worth it!

Had a wonderful getaway at the cabin. Share trees. Bubbling brook. Simple scenic setting. Clean. Lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was close to App State, Tweetsie, and many great hiking trails! The cabin was cleaned and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We would stay here again!

My wife and I travel to the area every fall, and like staying in vacation rentals. We found this home online and chose it due to the location & price. The location was excellent and home was clean and well furnished.

The cabin was very clean, and all that we had expected. There were no surprises. It is a great location for Boone and Banner Elk and local trout fishing.
If one wants to get a quiet getaway, this is the place.

A wonderful visit with friends and stayed mostly on the porch to enjoy the trees, wildlife and creek. Very comfortable beds! We enjoyed our stay.
As a cottage rental owner myself, please be aware of the poor lighting when getting out of cars by the kitchen at night. The stones along the walkway are hard to see. Two of us tripped and one fell, fortunately not hurt other than a skinned shin.
We enjoyed being together and visiting friends in Valle Crucis.

Stayed here again for a family weekend. The location is great. The kids really enjoyed playing in the backyard creek, and the yard was great for games. The back porch is perfect for relaxing at all times of the day. We've visited this cabin several times and would highly recommend!

We loved this cabin. Everything was just as pictured. Beautiful, peaceful piece of property that was tucked away yet close to Boone. We were visiting or son at App State and found it to be a very convenient location. We loved the outdoor seating and the gas fireplace. Would highly recommend and are already planning to stay here again!

We spent Christmas here and had a wonderful stay. There was no snow in the forecast but it snowed the night before we came in and continued to snow off and on until Christmas Day. We arrived to snow at the cabin on Saturday and left the following Thursday with snow still on the ground in places. The cabin was in a great location to enjoy all local ski resorts, activities, and dining.

Enjoyed our stay! Agree with previous reviews that it would be nice to have fewer items on the kitchen counters so you have room for your items you bring and for prepping food. But overall a very cute cabin and in a great location!

The cabin is in a great location to Boone and the High Country. If you arrive after dark, GPS will take you to the house before this one.
It is very quiet and located next to a cute stream.
The house is as described. Please note that the upstairs will get much warmer than downstairs. Even with the fans turned on and window opened in 50 degree weather, it never got cool enough.
Lastly, the upstairs has very low height ceilings and doorways. If you are over 5'10 and don't pay attention every time, you WILL Hit your head on the doorway, at least once. The ceilings are higher but do slope over one of the bed.
I would still highly recommend this place.

The cabin was quaint as many others have described, but surprisingly roomy enough for 5 of us to enjoy comfortably. We enjoyed the gliders on the porch after the long drive in the rain and the beds were comfy. The location was great, close to all, but peaceful. I agree with another review that suggested perhaps eliminating some of the knickknacks to enable use of countertop and other surfaces on the home. Additionally, many of the fake plants are terribly dusty and caused me to mark down cleanliness. I think the home would be just as welcoming without the the plants. Also, slight smell from the gas fireplace, so we opted not to use. Overall, would stay again! Thanks!

We love to come back to this conveniently located cabin each year for our girl's trip. The creek bubbling while we sit on the porch and relax and chat is soothing and we can get everywhere we want to go in super reasonable time. Perfect weekend getaway.

Creekside/mountainside cabin yet FLAT paved driveway. Where else can you find that in the Boone area? The only step into the house is the threshold! Sit on the back porch and listen to the creek, so peaceful. Saw deer each morning on the other side of the creek on the mountain side. Only slight inconvenience is that both bathrooms are downstairs, but not really an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Just wish we could've stayed longer! You have to try Over Yonder (restaurant) just a few minutes from the cabin. INCREDIBLE! Also love Casa Rustica, Melanie's, Stick Boy Kitchen and Coyote Kitchen all in Boone. Grandfather Vineyard is also a MUST and super close to cabin. Can't wait to go back.

Cute and cozy
We liked our short stay at the cottage. It was clean (fans need some dusting) and well stocked. Great location near Valle Crucis and Boone but secluded and quiet. A fire pit would be a nice addition.

The other thing I’d mention is a lot of Knick knacks on every flat surface/counter which made it difficult to settle in and find room to place your things. Basically it’s just like the pictures. And the other reviews are right about the creek off the rocking chair porch- it’s really neat and can be heard from inside the cabin! I’d recommend staying here if you’re wanting a cabin feel while close to town. But it’s definitely not the nicest place you can stay and it’s very tiny so I wouldn’t personally bring more than a couple other people with you despite how many it’s says it can sleep..

The cottage was very quaint and cozy. The only thing that I would say that needs a little TLC is the kitchen needs all new pots and pans ,plus dish towels and spunges. These items were worn out and need of replacement. I would also add a light in the corner of the master bedroom but that is not a half too it just would be nice to see better.
I would recomend the Cottage and the property management did a nice job.

We really enjoyed everything about this trip. The creek in the backyard, resting in the gliders, the location, and the scenery were excellent. The house had plenty of room and had all the modern amenities to make our trip wonderful. We are already talking about renting again during the summer.

The Precious cabin is very cute & quaint. It’s in an excellent location to surrounding towns & the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The beds & pillows were extremely comfortable & we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open during the cool nights. Also, we loved sitting on the back porch in the delightful Adirondack chairs & listening to the creek. The only drawback was the cooking pans need to be replaced & lighting to read by in the living room & bedrooms needs to be upgraded. Also having both bathrooms on the bottom floor was a bit of an adjustment. All in all, we had a great time in this little cozy cabin.
