We stayed here three nights at the end of our trip to Maui. What a darling place! Wish we would have made time to sit outside on the patio, even though it rained, we would have been dry! Fully stocked kitchen would be great for all of your needs. Super close to Paia—we walked there every day for food or shopping and even got a tattoo. Haha If you want to do the Road to Hana, this is the place to stay. We also went to Haleakala National Park the day we were to move into this unit from our stay on the other side of the island. Totally doable. And amazing!!!! We ate at Paia Bay Coffee and Bar—great food and drinks. And a few other places nearby. Our host shared great places to see sea turtles nearby and we loved visiting them. Book this place on your trip!

Stayed in the Sunset part of this property and it was excellent! It was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was a well-equipped and the local market (Mana) is fantastic. The outdoor space is large and comfortable - perfect for Hawaii. Short walk into town and east to get to beaches and everything else. Can’t say enough good things - we will be back!

The property is just as advertised. It is well located and we began each day with a walk to Baldwin and Baby Beach to see the turtles. Then we’d stop in town for breakfast and come ‘home’ and get ready for the day’s adventures. The beds are comfortable and the outside area is perfect. Thank you For your thoughtfulness in providing the details (beach chairs, coffee, etc.). We’ll be back

My best friend and I came to Hawaii for my birthday. We love Paia but have never stayed there. Hale Nihi is great! Everything was just like it was described. Short walk to the shops, grocery and food. We will definitely be back!

The apartment is nice, spacious, well equipped, and has a lovely terrace and garden. It is in walking distance to the charming village of Paia where there are nice shops and restaurants. However, the a/c is very noisy and kept us awake at night. Tried without the a/c, but the ceiling fan over the bed was non functional and you could hear the people upstairs.

This bed and breakfast has a lot going for it. Full kitchen, two comfortable beds, very nice bathroom. multiple windows, and best of all a nice little patio with a well manicured yard. One more thing. It is called a bed and breakfast but you have to go shopping and make your own breakfast. There is no “breakfast” included……

My husband and I loved our stay; the location was prime for day trips for Road to Hana and Haleakala. It is within walking distance to a lot of shops and eateries on Baldwin and Hana highway, and even a small beach nearby. The space was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for when we wanted to cook an easy meal at home. Avis was communicative and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Maui!

Beautiful large studio with super comfortable bed and everything provided. Loved the outdoor patio and yard with bamboo fencing. It was so peaceful and well kept.

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfy with everything you need. Unfortunately it’s on a busy street with lots of traffic noise and people walking by, other than that it’s a great stay.

Great location right off of Baldwin and a walk into town. Perfect place to go upcountry and start our road to Hana journey! Paia is also a small lovely town with great beaches. The place was perfect for us, clean, and a great spot on general!

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location
The Puako neighborhood is nice and quiet and a great place to relax for a few days. We loved the accommodation, very unique with an Asian bamboo style. The units were very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and Roth, the host was super helpful. There are plenty of beautiful beaches nearby and activities in the upcountry are not far. We only had a few days but I wish we could have stayed for a week. I hope to come back again!

Excellent location
The unit has everything one could need and an unexpectedly good sized front garden. The unit is spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed, pleasant decor and good parking. The owner is accessible but I never needed to contact him while I was there because everything was perfect. Thank you.

Adorable, spacious Paia condo!
Great location to launch your Road to Hana or Haleakala Sunrise your! Central Paia, walk to some great restaurants and window-shopping, enjoy takeout dinner from The Fishmarket on your private lanai within your own tropical garden! Avis was very responsive to all inquiries. She came by and we got to meet her. Will be back!

Great location in Paia- close to restaurants and shops and most importantly a short walk to the beach. Avis helped with any requests or needs and supported the stay. Nice to have a place to call home while on vacation and good to be able to cook a few meals in too. Good outside space to spend time too.

Perfect stay in Paia
Perfect spot for the three of us for our mother/daughters trip. We loved the town of Paia and being able to walk everywhere. We also enjoyed the outdoor lanai. We didn’t use the AC - the ceiling fans and open windows at night made it very comfortable. Easy check in/out and communication. Had everything we needed! Loved our stay!

Was a really convenient and short to walk into Paia town. Nice local vibe. It’s right off the Main Street in Paia so it can be a little loud with the passing traffic but, that’s a price you pay for the convenience I guess.

Quaint, clean, best lanai around
My girls and I loved staying in Avis’s sunset unit. The cottage was in the perfect location for us. We prefer less commercial, less touristy vacation locales and Paia was exactly that. We walked almost everywhere, including to the beach. We ate most of our meals on the lanai, which spans the front of the house. Avis was readily available and helpful.

Location is perfect. Short walk to town. Beach a little beyond town but definitely walking distance. Avis’ place is very clean, comfortable, quiet, and has everything you could need.

This spot is a great little home for whatever you plan to do on Maui. It's clean, quiet, and the Lanai is a great bonus for those sunny evenings. We will definitely stay again.

Hale Nihi is situated perfectly just blocks away from the center of Paia
Clean and cute condo just minutes away from the center of town. Parking provided which is a huge plus in the small town of Paia. Perfectly equiped kitchen with amenities. Even in the perfect travel scenario, unplanned things happen, but the owner was incredibly accommodating and considerate helping to make our vacation one to remember! Hale Nihi is a gem in the North Shore.
