The home is conveniently located in the heart of S Lake Tahoe. It has been recently remodeled and everyone enjoyed their stay. When it snows, the community looks like a Thomas Kincade picture.

We are already planning another trip for next year!

The house is easy to reach and close to Heavenly and other top spots in South Lake. House is quite big for 4 people, with towels, kitchen items etc well stocked. Easy to use TV, DVD player and more for nice stay with kids. Patricia communicated well and often to check in and make sure you had everything you needed. Not fancy or modern but everything you need for a comfortable ski weekend getaway.

Patricia was very responsive before and during our stay. Her place is very clean and comfortable and had all the cookware needed to prepare meals at home. We would definitely stay at her home again in the future.

The house was fantastic. Close enough to any hiking destination or restaurant you could want to go to. Patricia was very responsive to any inquiries we had.

This is a great house for our family of 4, close to the Y and Stateline. Quiet, cozy--but plenty of space, nicely remodeled, well-equipped kitchen. We have stayed in summer and winter and recommend this house for both seasons. And the owner is a sweetheart. Thanks for another great stay!

The house was a great location immaculately clean beautifully renovated and the floorplan was very amenable to sharing by the four of us. Also, try to see the historical museum in South Lake Tahoe 1 mile from the home.

Our stay at thr Blue Barn was great! Place is quiet, clean and nice. Right by bike paths, close to stores and restraunts. Thanks again, i will come again for sure!

The blue barn was perfect! Newly refurbished with up to date appliances and decor, yet so cozy and warm. This is a perfect location for walking or biking, several trails nearby. We loved our stay and wonderful family time! Thank you!

First, the experience with the owner, Patricia, was lovely. She was easy to contact, positive, helpful, and obviously takes great care of her home. I had no doubt that if we had needed anything, she would have responded immediately. Fortunately, the Blue Barn was in tip-top shape. I have rented various vacation homes over the years through both VRBO and AirBnB. The Blue Barn was the cleanest home of all. Lovely and huge upstairs master bedroom. Comfortable and charming twin bedroom. And a third bedroom downstairs that we did not use. The bathrooms were also in terrific condition with super showers and even those nice paper “sanitized” strips on the toilet seat covers to let you know the cleaners are doing their job! The kitchen is spacious and modern with plenty of amenities such a blender, coffee maker, beautiful bowls, and a super clean and modern refrigerator. The furniture throughout the home is clean, up-dated, and comfortable. One of the best features, for those travelling in the summer months, is that all of the bedrooms and the main living area have efficient and quiet ceiling fans that do a terrific job of keeping things cool, even in the upper 80s hot Tahoe days. I noticed Patricia also has a box fan available in case temperatures soar as they sometimes do in the late summer. Overall, our experience was very positive, comfortable, and cool. Great location as well in a fairly quiet neighborhood located about halfway between the South shore of the lake and the “Y” shopping center. No traffic noise and close to restaurants, markets, and recreation areas. Thank you, Patricia, for maintaining a beautiful and comfortable home to share with fortunate South Lake Tahoe visitors. This was a perfect sized house to stay with our family of 4. Patricia is very responsive, the place is clean, comfy and well maintained and is in a great location in South Lake. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our summer vacation. We'll be renting again over the winter!

As soon as we walked in the front door, my wife said "I love it" This home was perfect for our family summer get-away. We really appreciated the fast and courteous customer care we received from the moment we booked the home. Patricia was awesome. The location was excellent, very quiet, peaceful area and only a short 4 to 5 minutes to the lake. This home was totally updated/remodeled (nicely I might add), which is not the norm for South Lake Tahoe, for some reason most VRBO homes in Tahoe are still appointed with fixtures from the 60's and 70's. If this place is still available during your search, book it!

This cabin was a great choice! Very spacious, super clean, renovated throughout and tastefully decorated. Its location is very convenient, close enough to the Village, shops and restaurants but still in a residential neighborhood, in a very quiet cul-de-sac. The owner was very responsive, provided very detailed info about the cabin's amenities and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Our family of 4 had a great stay and we certainly recommend it!

Will stay there again!!!! Clise to so much but far enough to be quiet. Nieghborhood is beautiful. The house is in great shape, watm, clean ....i felt right at home!!!

Very comfortable house. Everything worked as advertised. Kitchen was well equiped. Two large beds were a little firm for our taste but, we adjusted. Good value for the price.

Nice home but in the path of airplanes overhead...didn't really bother us much but was a bit surprising the first time we heard it :)...Barton Meadow was a lovely place for morning and evening walks with twin two year olds. Centrally located for everything..just minutes away from Tahoe Lake and Fallen Leaf. BEST host ever !!! Questions were promptly addressed and easy to contact. A lovely vacation..Thank you Patricia !!:)

We stayed at the blue barn for a long weekend away with family. It was great! We had kids and adults and the house suited everyone's needs. It was fully stocked and beautifully updated. The house is well kept and stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Patricia was great to work with and communicated quickly...she was just a text away the whole visit. Next time we visit Lake Tahoe, we will definitely be staying at the blue barn again!!

My family stayed 4 nights at the blue barn and absolutely loved it. The house was even better than we anticipated and provided everything we needed and was in a good location. Just wished we had planned to stay there even longer.

Dear Patricia Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We had a great time. Your cabin (though I wouldn't call it a cabin!) was just so lovely, and had everything we needed and more! It was immaculate when we arrived,,so lovingly decorated. love the tiles,the wood flooring, the upstairs shower and ESPECIALLY that master bedroom! OMG It was huge! I felt like I was in a penthouse suite in a fancy hotel :) and SOOOO comfy! We could have fit an entire family of 6 in there and NObody feel crowded! From the patio chairs you provided to all the extra utensils, BBQ< etc the list goes on--and THE PRICE-- We are coming back soon! Thank you again for providing such a lovely and comfortable stay . Immaculate on the inside. I didn't want to leave. The back deck was a lovely place for morning coffee and an evening barbecue. For the price it was right. Comfy cozy

The Blue Barn worked out well for our stay. The house was just perfect, it had everything you could possibly need. The booking process was so simple and quick. Patricia responded very quickly to all questions. We will definitely be back in the future. My parents love going to Tahoe and I think they would also love the house.

Booking the Blue Barn was easy. Communication with the owner was pleasant, easy, and convenient. The Barn is even more cozy and upgraded than the pictures show. We walked to Barton Meadows and walked to Izzy's for burgers. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Would definitely book again, the price was right for what we were looking for.
