A characterful barn, delightfully converted to offer open-plan living.
Un fienile caratteristico, deliziosamente convertito per offrire una vita open space. Situato in un incantevole villaggio con diversi buoni ristoranti .. Piccolo passo verso soggiorno / sala da pranzo a travi a vista con stufa a legna, finestre a telaio 'A' e cucina in stile rustico con cucina e zona colazione. Camera matrimoniale con bagno con doccia e servizi igienici. Camera doppia. Bagno con box doccia separato e servizi igienici. . Il Southlands Barn si trova in un pittoresco cortile a 5 minuti di auto dalla spiaggia e dal villaggio di Saundersfoot, nel Parco Nazionale della costa del Pembrokeshire. Altri 10 minuti di auto lungo la costa conducono alla famosa città fortificata di Tenby. Questo splendido fienile semi-indipendente è tutto su un unico livello, ha pavimenti in rovere in tutto ed è pieno di carattere. Offre un soggiorno a pianta aperta molto spazioso con una stufa a legna, travi a vista e finestre a "A" che offrono una magnifica vista sulla campagna circostante e sulla valle sottostante. Abilità esperta può anche essere visto nella pietra che è stata pensosamente restaurata all'esterno di questo fienile. Mentre cenate all'aperto, guardate le viste non ostruite dal patio e forse individuate un fagiano o due! Saundersfoot è diventato famoso per la sua cucina gourmet e offre un gruppo di favolosi ristoranti che servono prodotti locali. Fai una passeggiata lungo la spiaggia dopo aver assaporato le delizie locali e sperimentare il meraviglioso fascino che caratterizza Saundersfoot. A livello locale c'è una serie di attrazioni locali per tutta la famiglia tra cui Folly Farm, Oakwood e Manor House. A Marros c'è l'equitazione, e Tenby ha un campo da golf a 18 buche. What a magical find, breakfast with the sheep in the morning, wonderful views over the countryside. The Barn was absolutely stunning and beautifully cosy and warm. Everything you could ever want for a wonderful relaxing break away. Will be back in the spring.

Our second stay at the lovely Southlands Barn. Spacious & comfortable accommodation with a large enclosed lawn area - perfect for dogs & to enjoy the views.
Good facilities within the barn, with nice en-suite bathrooms with good showers.
Only a short drive to both Saundersfoot & Tenby. Parking directly outside the barn.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Southlands Barn and we had a lovely week there again.
This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Southlands Barn and we had a lovely week there again. The accommodation is so luxurious and well equipped and the area couldn't be better, there is so much to do we still have a list of things we want to do the next time we visit. Our teenagers really enjoyed the new comfy larger beds in the 2nd bedroom and it's great having 2 bathrooms. The outside area is great too with plenty of lawn for outdoor games and two patio areas to catch the sun whenever it comes out, also the views are superb. The wine and chocolates and milk in the fridge on arrival were much appreciated too. We will definitely be coming again.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped in a pleasant and peaceful setting. We enjoyed rambles from the cottage to Saundersfoot and Tenby and along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. We particularly enjoyed the stroll from Carew Castle to Cresselly Quay
Just one minor irritation. We always book a cottage with a dishwasher, which was especially important on this occasion as there were no pubs or restaurants open and I was cooking dinner every evening, but there were no dishwasher tablets and nowhere nearby to buy them. There was only one tea towel too. We chose the location to avoid crowds, but had to venture into Tenby to purchase them. I had telephoned beforehand to ask if we needed to bring anything too.

The barn benefits from underfloor heating and a log burner is sited in the open plan lounge/ kitchen.
It's nicely situated in a quiet rural area with only a 10 minute drive to both Tenby & Saundersfoot.
There is a good size lawned area which is fenced in and perfect if you have a dog.
Even the bad weather did not spoil the enjoyment of our 4 night stay.
Highly recommended.

There are times when you arrive at your holiday destination and hope that the pictures of your choice and other reviews are honest and truthful. I can say, without doubt that the pictures and reviews of Southlands Barn didn’t do it justice. From the moment we arrived to the last when we left with a heavy heart was fabulous and we actually enjoyed coming back to the barn at the end of each day.
The cottage was very clean, had quality furnishings and luxurious bathrooms and the added extra of a welcome package was very thoughtful.
Our party consisted of myself, my husband and our dog and we enjoyed watching him trying to make friends with the sheep on the other side of the fence, chasing the bats at dusk and trying to tell the very lovely chocolate lab Bruce that he was in charge!!
Although you feel in the middle of nowhere because it is so very quiet and peaceful, Saundersfoot, Tenby and the gorgeous Amroth are all a short drive away.
We had a wonderful, relaxing time and are definitely hoping to return sometime very soon.

Lovely location,excellent accommodation,great for access to Saundersfoot,wisemans bridge,Tenby and Amroth only 5-10 mins car drive.
Saundersfoot accessible by foot but a long trek (45-60 mins) and all uphill on the way back.
Can’t fault the Barn in any way.
Clean,comfortable and well equipped.

Great cottage in a great location. One of the best we have stayed in. If I had to be picky then both the double bed and the sofa were a bit soft for our preference but otherwise faultless.

A wonderfully peaceful place to stay for relaxation. The view from the lounge window was amazing and it was a pleasure to see the rabbits running around and the various birds that visited the garden. We had everything we needed for our stay to make it a very good holiday.

We had a great week, helped by some lovely weather. The cottage was also great. It was unfortunate that the underfloor heating was not working following the fire in the biomass building but we were given logs for the burner and other heaters which together with the immersion heater for hot water so all was very comfortable.
We will go back!

Despite the appaling gales and rain, and a major drama in the middle of the first night when the building housing the biomass boiler which provided the heating to the cottage and two other houses caught fire and burned to the ground, we had a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday. Althuogh having so much to sort out, the owner was very quick to provide electric heaters and an endless supply of logs for the excellent woodburner. Because of the weather we did not do as much walking as intended, but there are so many castles and beaches in this lovely area. We intend returning to the cottage in the future when we hope the weather (and the boiler) will be better.

Excellent accommodation - very attractive, well equipped and masses of space. Loved underfloor heating in bathrooms. Only 6 minute drive to Saundersfoot. No downsides at all.
